Guide to generating metro-style maps using Omsi-Helpmaker [www.omnibussimulator.de]
Click Load & point to one of your maps
Click Routemap & select PDF or PNG
Increase Map Width and Height
You must press ENTER while in the fields for them to apply
Select “Stops from trip”
Click “Add new line with all stops and connections” from the previous screen then pick a trip in “Stops from trip” then “Add stops” & click OK
Add the first stop
You can check what the stops are from the map;s manual, or just click on Connections which will also show you. Select the FIRST stop then click Set position and add it anywhere on the map.
Add last stop
Repeat for the LAST stop, and the program will automatically add the intermediate stops, which you can tidy up manually.
Repeat for additional bus lines
Repeat for other lines, and also selecting the first and last stop. You may have to play around with the “Automatic” placement option especially for the first, last and stops that have more than one line going through, you will get something resembling this.
