Optimal: Guide For Wyatt, The Warrior [INCOMPLETE]

Overview

When playing Wyatt, I am sure that all of you have had someone get you right after you shield an attack, but this here guide will tell you ways to build Wyatt into a force to be reckoned with.

How to Play Wyatt:

Wyatt uses a sword and shield, meaning you do not shoot projectiles, and his sword is rather slow. The shield can be buffered after attacking by just holding the input, making it easier to block quick attacks after missing, or even hitting the attack.

When attempting to block attacks, don’t even worry about facing them, You will automatically be directed towards them as the attack hits, keep that in mind on ability modifier items.

Techs:
Gliding: I literally just found out this now, but when hitting an enemy where they are invulnerable, such as a boar’s tusks, or a crossbow guard’s shield, you will glide back like Michael Jackson doing the moonwalk.

also this guide is something i may or may not update whenever i feel like, so yeah.

inform me of stuff i should add, or any other optimal builds i haven’t thought of

Essential Items

generic items needed are just ones that give a percentage buff, or a flat buff to attack speed, make sure not to get any items that do a percentage decrease though.
Boots of Haste: Attack Speed and Movement Speed – self explanatory
Ability items. The
Clumsy Elephant – Drops an explosive plant pod after you shield ( whether you block or not) which does okay damage. it will stun enemies around you when exploding, leading to an easy escape from a crowd.
Purple crystal thing- gives you invincibility after shielding for like a solid second, with only like 10ish frames in between dropping your shield that you are not invincible. spam shield and you get to be invincible for 90% of the game.
