The original version of this game have 3 minutes long introduction, that was changed for the International release. This is my attempt to translate of the original Russian backstory of this game, thats far more expanded than international one. And flying high in the sky dragons that lived here since ancient times, were not too interested in what is happening, far below.However, there was one dragon who believed in people and convince the rest of the dragons that these bipeds, it is the ally they need. And if they will unite, they can free Nemaan from ancient evil. The combined power of human weapons and magic of dragons, gradually tipped the scales on the side of good.Lots of people and dragons were killed. Many years later, poisoned and burned land was bare and barren. However, humans and dragons were a force before which nothing could resist. And even Skarborr, the mighty Lord of Darkness, was banished to Eternal Wasteland. As it seemed, forever. Purified from the evil, the world gradually blossomed.Jointly explore the nature of magical powers, dragons and people have learned to use them for good. Abandoning their devastated nest, they left Nemaan. Only Ankh-Egor paused briefly, leaving the prophecy that Skarborr, sooner or later, will free himself from the spell and return. Ankh-Egor visited ruins of an ancient temple, where found the last surviving dragon’s egg and flew after the others.And the prophecy was fulfilled! After hundreds of years, hordes of monsters appeared in Nemaan and razed to the ground everything that was built by people. Armies tried to stop monsters, and were destroyed.And a handful of human survivors had the only hope – the last dragon. А паривших высоко в небе драконов, живших здесь издревле, не слишком интересовало происходящее, далеко внизу.Однако нашелся один дракон, который поверил в людей и убедил остальных драконов, что эти, двуногие, именно тот союзник, объединившись с которым, драконы смогут освободить Немаан, от древнего зла. Объединенные мощью оружия людей и магией драконов, постепенно склонило чашу весов на сторону добра.Не мало людей и драконов погибло. Немало лет потом, отравленная и обожженная земля, была голой и бесплодной. Вместе, люди и драконы были силой, перед которой ничто не могло устоять. И даже сам Скарборр, могущественный Повелитель Тьмы, был изгнан в вечную пустошь. Как тогда казалось, навсегда. Очищенный от зла мир, постепенно расцвел.Совместно изучая природу магических сил, драконы и люди научились использовать их во благо. Великолепные города выросли вокруг источников магии земли. Увы, не долго царило благополучие на землях Немаана.Не прошло и нескольких лет, как от ордена Анкогоритов, отделилась группа фанатиков Зелотов, увидевших в драконах новую угрозу человечеству. Они решили, что драконы жаждут, занять опустевшее место, правителей мира. И нанесли предательский удар, разорив кладки драконьих яиц.Были конечно и другие люди, сохранившие верность союзникам и не побоявшиеся, встать на пути фанатиков. Но мало их оказалось. А большинству, была безразлична судьба драконов. И не смог, небольшой отряд людей чести, побороть секту злодеев.И драконы, разочаровавшись в людях, решили оставить их наедине с самими собой. Оставив разоренные гнезда, они покинули Немаан. Только Анк-Эгор ненадолго задержался, оставив пророчество, что Скарборр, рано или поздно, освободится от заклятья и вернется. Он украл в развалинах древнего храма, последнее, уцелевшее драконье яйцо и улетел вслед за остальными. И сбылось пророчество ! Прошли сотни лет, но в конце концов, снова появились полчища монстров и сравняли с землей, все то, что строили когда-то люди. Армии попытались их остановить и были уничтожены. И единственной надеждой, которая осталась у горстки выживших людей – на последнего дракона. А точнее, молодого дракончика, которого маги смогли разыскать и призвать на помощь…
