(Outdated) The Castle Crashers Shopping Reference

Overview

This informative guide is specifically designed for new Castle Crashers players who have no idea how to spend their hard-earned gold. This guide will show you what/where the best and cheapest items are so you can prioritize efficiently.

Introduction: THIS IS AN APPROVED REPOST

Before I talk about the guide, I would like to prove to you in the best way I know that the first creator of a Castle Crashers shops guide, Tavi, allowed me to make this shops guide. I copied and pasted this from steam chat:

————————————————–
Henryo: Ok thanks!
Tavi: np

[there was more to this conversation, but as I was readying to paste the whole conversation, only the messages above still showed in the chat. If you have further questions about the legitimacy of this conversation, ask him.]
————————————————–

Back to the guide. I created this guide for two main reasons:

  • I have been playing Castle Crashers since 2009 (various versions), and I wanted to contribute to the Castle Crashers steam community.
  • I wanted to address a topic that steam guides rarely cover on this game.

Keep in mind that animal orbs are ranked on a scale of 1 to 20, 1 being the best rank, while weapons are ranked on a scale of -3 to 14, 14 being the best rank. Also keep in mind that the guides I used as reference points regarding weapon/animal rankings are outdated in comparison to Aichomancer’s new remade versions of these guides. I will keep the stats regardless, as ultimately, weapon and animal rankings are generally up to your opinion.

I don’t have much else to say; the main ideals of this guide are in the description at the top. Enjoy!
