Cannibals

Scout Cannibal
Small and fast, these guys are just annoying. They travel in groups of 2-6. They surround the player, and lunge at you, attacking fast but weak. Getting stuck between two of these cannibals will be a quick death. These cannibals can be identified by them running on all fours. They’ll patrol alongside any cannibal. Occasionally they’ll attack fellow cannibals, providing a good opportunity to attack or run. They will run when the player charges, and will chase the player when they run.

Normal Cannibal
These cannibals can be found defending villages and in caves. They are the most aggressive of all the cannibals, and hit hard. They can be identified by their grey skin and being taller than the player. The best weapon to use against them is anything that swings fast. If you get attacked by a group of these cannibals in singleplayer, run.

Pack Leader
The head of patrol groups, killing these guys can demoralize the group and make them run. They occasionally carry molotovs, making them a dangerous ranged opponent. They can be identified by the bone jewelry they wear, sometimes a mask, and their club.

Tribe Leader
Found patrolling around villages and leading large patrol groups, they have body parts on their back, and a torch or flashlight on their head. Female cannibals are commonly found patrolling with Tribe Leaders. If they see the player, they might scream, alerting any nearby cannibals of the player’s presence.

Female Cannibals
Females usually lead attacks on the player, and if killed, seem to outrage any cannibals that witness the death. Otherwise the same as the normal cannibal.

Octopus / Armsy Mutant
Stronger than any cannibal but weaker than the spider mutant. The Armsy has 3 legs and a bunch of arms. The scout cannibals can be found patrolling with this mutant. Commonly found in caves, but they can also be found above ground after a few days on the island, or when you start war with the cannibals. They attack with 3 swings in the same direction, destroying anything in their way.

Spider / Virginia Mutant
Creepy is the best word to describe this mutant. They have 6 legs, and look like two women got morphed together. They can move in any direction, making it difficult to run around them. They quickly charge the player with the two closest legs raised, destroyed anything in it’s path. They can be found in caves. They’ll spawn above ground if you declare war on the cannibals. They usually patrol alone.

Cowman
I am still yet to encounter a Cowman in all my gameplay. Eventually I will have information on this mutant. 🙂
