OUTLAST Window-Glitch [EN] for Outlast

OUTLAST Window-Glitch [EN]

Overview

Here I show the famous window glitch, you can skip a large part of the beginning.

Introduction

Hey, there are so many exciting and famous glitches and bugs in Outlast. Here I show a very useful and exciting thing that is easy to use.

Hitboxes

Hit boxes are called the areas that block the player. You could say that they are invisible walls that are placed on objects or Walls.
The hit boxes were used here to prevent the player from falling down.

Window

First of all we have to hit the window at the very beginning of the game.
There is something important to consider here. There are 2 animations. In the first animation, the character pulls up with his fingertips. In the second, the character uses the elbow. We need the second animation.
To do this, we have to run against the wall at the window and then press space.

Now the character is on the windowsill. Next you have to crouch and run against the window frame on the right side of the glass pane.

Now you have to try to walk sideways on the glass. It continues by spamming W and A in quick succession. The character now moves very little. You have to do this until you stand on the outside of the wall. The best way to test this is to see if you can easily walk forward.

Outside

Next you have to do a back jump. Now we have to run to the corner of the wall and do a long jump (sprint). Next, you just have to walk like in the picture.

Wallrider

Now you have to look into the corner and press W and A until you run through the wall.
If you have done everything correctly you should stand on the wall between the file room and the PC room. Now you just have to jump down.
