Hi guys so I am using Civ 6 as a tag for my other guide to spread awareness. Please no hateful comments. I have had 10 friends who lost their steam account and lost money on it. They did get the account back but lost the money on it.
Short version: Contact Steam support immediately. See if you still have your email intact.
Longer version: Tell everyone to report or flag your profile and contact a steam moderator.
IMPORTANT: The most common way is a suspicious link like it says here is free copy of GTA V but sent by your friend. You don’t give out your password nor user name. Even with steamguard on your cellphone if you click on the link, your account gets hacked (again without giving password). Some of the malicious software can take over your account even if you have steam guard without knowing your password nor your username by clicking on the link
IMPORTANT: This guide is related to Civ 6 because if you lose your account you LOSE ALL of your games including Civ 6
