This is a guide on how to become the ULTIMATE necromancer.
What the build is:
This is a build focused around the exploits of the Aetheral crown when used with in combination with the Ritual Stone. It is incredibly overpowered and do-able within a day or two.
How to get started.
First of all, you will need to complete the Lost to the Ages quest. I usually will just run straight to Arkngthamz right after Helgen, but you may get some gear to fight off the falmer before you venture in if you must. Just do the quest and you should end up at the forge. When you complete it and its letting you pick what to forge, YOU HAVE TO PICK THE CROWN. It the one and only opportunity you will have to get the item, so dont waste it. AFterwords, just go get the ritual stone then pick another random stone to cycle the ritual power into the crown.
How to utilize the power of the crown!
So you wanna start off small with some opponents you know you can beat, kill and resurrect them. Once you have a small posse you will want to set out to a bigger town. Be careful not to fast travel, as you will lose your minions and thats no fun. Some info I have gathered on minions:
Giants are no good for a zombie army as they cant keep up with you or the other troops.
Town Guards make exceptional troops, being tanky and fast!
The forsworn are good fighters and easy to obtain.
This is a picture of my army in Whiterun, I cleared the whole city out, only leaving the unkillable characters to warn all those who would dare stand in my way.
