Overview

Specific info about Part-Time Hero mission requirements, full list of Party Chat conversation locations, Table Talks plus some bonus info about honk-honks and the management minigame.

Cats

There was a CAT here, it’s gone now.

If the cat is missing in the image, that is because I forgot to take a picture before thinking about making this guide. They are actually there. Yes I’m dumb.

The quest is triggered by coming back to the Part-Time Hero offices where Hiro will tell you they all escaped and you need to find them.

1. Commercial District
Right near Kasuga and Nanba’s first home
2. Bar District
Little cubbyhole west of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Bridge (why is that word censored)
3. Commercial District
Hidden behind a car on top of the Can Quest parking garage
4. Restaurant Row
The dead end alley that’s locked out to you initially
5. East Jinnai Station
Near the eastern entrance of the huge central building
6. Chinatown
South of the central crossing in the area with a bunch of restaurants and bun places
7. Hamakita Park
Sitting under a drinking fountain south of the flower wagon
8. North Jinnai Station
East of the batting center, western end of the nearest building
9. West Jinnai Station
Hidden on a dumpster near the two silver safes
10*. Hamakita Park
This cat is only available once you turn the previous 9-cat quest in to Hiro.
Sitting on a lantern at the east end of the park

Kappa

1. Commercial District
Yes, the massively obvious one

2. Commercial District
Hidden behind glass south of Kasuga and Nanba’s first home

3. Bar District
Upstairs in Bar Survive

4. Red Light District
On some stairs behind the fence in an alley with a silver safe and a guy who gives you investment opportunities

5. East Jinnai Station
East of the station ticketing entrance is an inaccessible elevator, the statue is inside it, pointed towards the street

6. North Jinnai Station
Northwestern corner of the map, at the edge of the water

7. Chinatown
Hidden northerly in a little alcove midway through the street with the chinese medicine store

8. Hamakita Park
Inside the Hero’s Harvest truck with the salesman

9. Restaurant Row
Not available until Chapter 6. A little stairway opens up after a certain story event. The way forward points towards the statue.

10. Koreatown
Not available until Chapter 7. The place where the game magnetized you away from, go upstairs and at the end of the railing open up your camera

Takedowns – Tens

A general tip for this part – when you find a spawn location for a rare enemy you need, fight them and then save somewhere nearby so they spawn once again when you load.

Snipper – Isezaki Road
These commonly spawn around North Isezaki Road in the area with all the restaurants. Recognized by terrible hairstyles.
Conman – Red Light District
Rather uncommon, they appear near the Seiryu HQ and around the parking lot, either single Pimpmasters or both a Pimpmaster and a Roguish Recruiter in various groups nearby. Easily recognizable by their books/clipboards
Thug – Isezaki Road, but actually everywhere
Cripplingly common, especially the lowly Punklings. Carry switchblades.
Businessman – Jinnai Station, also almost everywhere
Easy to find, easy to beat. In business suits, with bare hands or punching weapons
Voyeur – West Jinnai Station, but actually North Jinnai Station
Creepy dudes with cameras, they appear by themselves in groups in West Jinnai but in pairs with Baseball Diehards in North.
Worker – Sewer, but easier to find in West Jinnai Station
Work clothes befitting their job and a long polearm type implement. Not hard to spot.
Host – Red Light District
Similar spawn to Conmen, these carry champagne. Easy to recognize by their suits that aren’t worn by others in the area. Pretty uncommon, use your camera if you don’t want to approach groups before being sure they’re there.
Sandwichman – Red Light District
Only spawn north and south of the soapland you worked at on the east side of Ohama Street. Use their signboards to smack you around, easy to beat if you have flames on you.
Baseball Fan – North Jinnai Station
Pushovers, but they’re quick. Use a plastic yelling tube, appear in pairs with pairs of Sandlotters.
Patient – West Jinnai Station
They look rather normal until they transform with their typical black masks. Whack you with an IV, but more commonly grab you and inflict status ailments. Seen in groups with workers.
Laborer – Bar District
Easily recognizable by their white rag headbands, use hammers and clubs. Usually walking with a police officer.
Slugger – Restaurant Row
Big dude with a stick. Also looks quite normal before he transforms. He’s a ♥♥♥♥♥ to find, can also spawn a bit north of the homeless camp, but a better location to find him is to save at Ijin Lane, south of Wette Kitchen, and reload your save until he appears east at a restaurant entrance. Always by himself there. Can also be found in the sewers.
Tattooed – Koreatown
Easiest to find in central Koreatown, recognizable by either black vests or black wifebeaters. Use their fists, the higher their class, the bigger their tattoo.
Gambler – Koreatown
Another rare bastard that shouldn’t be, white dress shirts and baseball caps with a rolled up newspaper. Almost only spawns along the shore of the river on the western end of the district. A good idea is to save east of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Bridge and look towards it, then check if anyone matches his description. Don’t count on seeing more than one at a time. Later they change to a version with a silver puffy coat.
Brawler – Koreatown
Wrestling dudes. Oftentimes seen with Tattooed, they’re in white shirts. Rather common.
Hitman – Koreatown
Mostly along the northern edge of the district. They appear in pairs with guys in red, and also initially have the appearance of guys in black with black masks. They use bowguns, and taking them down first is a good idea since they can disappear and extend the battle. Later in the game their friends change their clothes to blue.
Cultist – Hamakita Park
Munancho, shooreh pippi. Not in the park, along the road to the south. Stand out like a sore thumb since they’re all in white. They suck at fighting and will probably try to curse you before folding.
Musclehead – Isezaki Road
Tricky one. These beefy dudes that swing barbells at you can be found in the sewers, but you only get to kill 4 per run. They’re also a rare spawn with 2 Dine-and-Dashers and a Snack-and-Sprinter group – the fat guys in bright shirts with bottles.
Smuggler – East Jinnai Station
Uncommon, but easy to spot because of their orange and black patterened shirts and hoodies, similar shade to Zhao’s shirt. Found mostly in the northeast corner of the district, before the road turns right into Hamakita Park.

Takedowns – Singles

Color Gangsman – East Jinnai Station
They’re in red, and easy to beat, especially since you only need one. Usually around that big building with a parking lot in the north.
Assassin – Restaurant Row
White-shirted dudes with brown sashes and knives. Restaurant Row is an okay recommendation, but heading slightly north to the area around the train station has several lower level groups that usually feature one of them.
Ramblin’ Man – Isezaki Road
Common before, less by the time you get it. These fellas in green jackets with baggy pants and guitars usually hang out in North Isezaki Road with a couple Yakuzas.
Pseudotrash – Commercial District
Weird, and not easy to get. Disguised as black trash bags. Can be found in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Park sometimes, but an easier location is southeast of the homeless camp, after the third red vending machine. If it doesn’t activate, you might have the Missing: Homeless Wreck mission on, which is solved by the guy lying under a blue tarp not far north.
Sneak-a-Tack – Isezaki Road
Acupuncturist, often found in the middle and north of the road. Later in the game hangs out in a group with 2 Punklings.
Technomancer – Restaurant Row
This one’s terrible to get once you need it. These clowns have brighter green jackets than the Chinese Mafia do, at least, but their spawns are usually blocked by some other crap that appears nearby. I’d advise saving slightly to the north of the taxi and reloading until they appear to the far north. If you’re having trouble they’re a sure spawn in the second-to-last area of the sewers.
Chinese Mafioso – Chinatown, but just as common in Restaurant Row
Bald dudes with green shirts, not green suits. Slash at you with their dumb metal claws.
Spirited Medium – Koreatown
Again, western edge of the district. Groups of 3 recognizable silvery outfits with one other guy.
Officer of the Lawless – Koreatown
Blue-suited officers, also along the western edge of the district. They hang out with purple hammer dudes. Available in the sewers as well.
Turncoat Titillator – Hamakita Park, but easier to find in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Park in Koreatown
The sex offender. Looks like one on the map but they gang up on you in threes when the battle starts. If you’re in Hamakita Park, you want the one that’s east of the DIY garden. Later only found in an early part of the sewers.
Kung Fu Disciple – Hamakita Park
They’re not where the game tells you. Chinatown is a far better chance, search for larger groups of dudes in yellow.
Freestylist – Hamakita Park
Moron in a cyan shirt with a hooded blue vest and a mic. Part of a rare group that spawns with purple skaters south of the rounded edge at the top of the park.
Kung Fu Master – Restaurant Row
Dressed in yellow, you can’t tell whether it’s him or a Disciple in a group before you start the battle. Pretty resistant to damage, and will kick your ass if you try to fight him too early.
Mystery Meatsmith – Restaurant Row
Higher tier fat chef fella. Technically they spawn there but usually the spawns are taken up by Sluggers. Head to Chinatown and search for pairs of chefs.
Break-and-Entryman – ChinatownNO
The game straight up lies to you on this one. After the enemy difficulty gets a bump, they’re not there, they’re on Isezaki Road standing out from groups of 4 identical black suited guys that Dismemberers are in. Found early in the sewers as well.
Wrestlemaniac – Koreatown
Brawler class, you’ve probably beaten his ass if you did that one already. Has a white shirt when you approach but loses it when the battle starts.
Arch-Vagrant – Commercial District
Be on the lookout for a bum in a large group of drunk salarymen. Still a pushover.
Black Blade – Commercial District
Another Slasher. Part of a group of 3 black dressed fellas with 2 or so yakuza. Also found in the sewers.
Dismemberer – Isezaki Road
Knockoff horror movie villains, part of the Slasher class. They appear in a group of 1 different man and 4 identical black-masked black-clothed men, with half of them being Dismemberers once you start the battle.
Metal SlimInvested Vagabond – Chinatownlmao
Just head out to the sewers. You can encounter 3 of them along the way to the end. Otherwise a sure spawn is SOS: Tsurukame Alley if you haven’t done it yet. Recognizable by the fact that they take 1 damage at a time, so your best solution is to use multi-hit and sure-crit attacks. Jackpot Chip and Haywire Havoc are your best friends.
Master and Commando – Kamurocho Underground B1F
Soldier dude, quite resilient but not as much as other pieces of ♥♥♥♥ you meet down there. Hard to miss.
Feral Felon – Restaurant Row
Part of the Fugitive class, spawns at the top of Restaurant Row with some Assassin type dudes. I’d recommend going in and out of Lin Lin until they appear.
Gifted Gatherer – Restaurant Row
These are weird, as much as can be said for walking christmas trash bags. They only spawn at the bottom of the stairs to Lin Lin, but refuse to fight you a lot of the time. I saved inside the elevator cubbyhole that’s at the end of the street to the west and loaded until they jumped me. Vulnerable to fire.
Urbane Legend – Kamurocho Underground B2F
Top-tier drunkard. Pretty resilient, and unique to the area.
Chinese Mafia Boss – Restaurant Row
Head up the stairs that opened up during chapter 6. He’s there with a Qigong Master and an Ironclad Chef.
Ironclad Chef – Restaurant Row
As above. Has less health than the others but is more annoying with his flames.
Mister Six – Kamurocho Underground B1F
Zappy helmet minibosses. He’s there, he’s also in the Arena and the Yokohama sewers.
Arminator – Kamurocho Underground 1F
Ultimate Soldier, can shoot beams from his eyes. Sometimes on the streets by himself, but surely in the sewers. Bring some Fulmination or Prongs and he’s toast.
King Joe – Sotenbori Battle Arena
Time to head out to Sotenbori and get to work. Eminem doesn’t have ♥♥♥♥ on this guy, he hangs out on Floor 7. Only weak to water.
The Death Knuckle – Sotenbori
The ultimate boxer that stole Garry Buster Holmes’ weapons. He might be one of the single person spawns in town, or just head to Floor 29 of the Arena.
Forsaken Samurai – Sotenbori Battle Arena
Another dork decked out in gold, part of the Weapon Buff class. Might be strolling around Sotenbori by himself, but he’s also in the Arena on Floor 27.

Missing Persons

Missing: Willful Son
Commercial District. Standing in front of the gacha machines by Sasaki Arcade to the north of the pawn shop and Can Quest.
Missing: Peeved Girlfriend
Jinnai Station North. At the Cafe Brave under the Part-Time Hero offices. She’s here for donuts.
Missing: Homeless Wreck
Commercial District. East of the homeless camp, you might miss this one, I definitely did. I think there’s a battle in front of him, but he’s not marked as interactible until you approach him. He’s lying under a blue tarp.
Missing: Fellow Gaijin
Jinnai Station East. Black guy sitting on a bench on the upper floor, south of the entrence to la chatte blanche. Very impressed with you for some reason.
Missing: Whipped Husband
Bar District. Upstairs level behind Bar Rodriguez and The Harbor Light. There’s also a door here that you can access with a special ability you get when you make Kasuga a Foreman once that’s never told to you or explained wink wink.

Investment Opportunities

There are six people in Yokohama that will give you bonus investment opportunities after one business period in the Management minigame. The results of those are seeded once they appear, so if you want to be sure about the returns, save before taking them, reload once they’re done, and only pick the ones that succeed.

Tier 1 – Suspicious Man
Capital requirement: 100k – 1M Yen
On the southwest corner of Koreatown next to the Poppo is a tubby business looking dude.

Tier 2 – Free Spirit
Capital requirement: 2M-5M Yen
Red Light District, south of Otohime Land in a fenced-in area with a silver safe in it. Same as Kappa #4 in this guide.

Tier 3 – Shady Osakan Man

In Koreatown, however the game magnetizes you away from this area until chapter 7 or so. He’s southeast of the stairwell with the DIY Garden in it.

Tier 4 – Fierce Yakuza
Capital requirement: 10M-50M Yen
Koreatown once again, the same building as Citron Mahjong and Sujimon Sensei, get to the bottom of the middle stairwell. A blue-shirted yakuza is waiting for you there.

Tier 5 – Investor Woman

Upper corner where West Jinnai Station and Jinnai Station meet. East of Le Nouveau Hama is a pair of white and red neon signs, she’s standing under there.
