Intro
Hello again everyone. JK3 here with another guide on finding Slime Rancher’s hidden secrets. This time on the elusive Party Gordo
My attempt at this guide was originally seeing if there was an pattern to their spawns, as if it wasn’t a limited time event. But in the end this is a limited time event.
So I’ll be listing these in future real life dates (By Advancing my computer’s clock when in Slime Rancher’s Main Menu)
I’ll be leaving the general region (Moss Blanket, Indigo Quarry), in the header for those who don’t want to be completely spoiled on its location and just want to use this guide to point them in the right direction instead
I’ll also be listing the common ornaments that are dropped per weekend
As time goes on, previous years will be put into an archived version of this guide.
[link]Basic Party Gordo Info
Every weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday Local Time) a Party Gordo will appear ONCE somewhere in the Game (Once he’s gone that’s it until next weekend).
This location is the same for all players, providing their computer or console clocks are synched like in real time.
He only needs 10 of any food and Popping him will make him Drop 1 Rare Ornament and 8 Present Crates.
Present Crates drop 1 of 2 Common Ornaments based on what weekend or rarely a Rare Ornament
Present Crates can be found anywhere as well rarely on the weekends (Including other Popped Gordos). But the Party Gordo is still the best way to obtain Ornaments

Basic Twinkle Slime Info
The Twinkle Slime is similiar to the Party Gordo but it is instead every day during a selected Winter Holiday period called Wiggly Wonderland (The Slimepedia entry hints it may be used for other future holidays as a seasonal change). The same rules apply about it being only appearing once per instance at the same location for everybody
However unlike the Party Gordo, it requires no feeding. Just walk to it for a victory song and an explosion of Chimes, musical versions of ornaments that play a note when touched by anyone. The appearance of the Chimes is scripted and a special easter egg is some tunes of famous bits can be heard if left untouched and walked in a certain direction (Mostly classical and kid songs).
My musical knowledge in these fields is very limited so I will be posting pictures and decriptions of these little easter eggs of the ones i can figure out.
The Twinkle Slime will also leave behind a temporary two-way teleporter back to your house.

Any instances of ones appearing less than 2 times for a year will be bolded

Northeastern part of the Glass Desert (Shortly past the Eastern Slime Gate). Barely Visible between the cracks near the Feral Signs. This is also the area with naturally spawning Fire Slimes as well as one of the Black Treasure Pods that gave Gold Plorts.
January 25 – 27 (“Slime Sea”)

On the Island Hopping passage behind the Grotto. Despite its location, the map lists this spot as the Slime Sea and NOT the Dry Reef or Ranch
This is also the same location that you can find a Night Light Slime Toy on your first visit here

When coming out of the Warp Structure to the Glass Desert in the Ancient Ruins, drop down to the rocks below and into the opening. (If he’s blocked, flip any nearby switch and come back)

2 “Floors” above the Rock Ancient Fountain in the Glass Desert. The Ruined Desert Blue Column Treasure Pod is also next to the Party Gordo

Twinkle: December 18 (Indigo Quarry)
In the circular area just before the one-way teleporter back to the Ranch. Other notable areas nearby for reference include the cave with the Rad Gordo, the Rad Feral path and Blue Pod 5 (Green Slime Lamp)
The double stacked line of Chimes on the wooden ramp plays part of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony “Ode to Joy” when walking down the wooden ramp (The angle of the notes and your speed may make it a bit hard to recognize, take it slow)
The Trail floating next to the higher part of the wooden ramp plays a bit of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” if touched in order going downward. Though this is a bit difficult since these are in the air and aren’t leveled

After passing the big log where Honey slimes are mainly located. This is also the intersection where the hidden path to the Feral Hunter area starts and the ending area to the one-way teleport home is.
The Long trail of Chimes from the Log to the Bridge when taken a little slowly plays “1000 Light Years Away”: Slime Rancher’s Credits Music. Big thanks to RockPikminKing on this. It sounded so familiar but i couldn’t recognize it

Right in front of the Ancient Ruins Gate. Can’t Miss it
The bottom of the line parallel to the Ancient Ruins Gate plays the familiar notes of the Ancient Ruins tracks (Closest to the Crosshair in the pic above, played from right to left)
The Farthest Right Perpedicular to the Gate plays Old Macdonald (Farthest Right Vertical line trail, South to North in the pic above)
There’s a few other tunes that can be heard that i can’t recognize like the left most vertical line
Twinkle: December 21 (Dry Reef)
By the Hobson Letter Talking about his old tree on the main path of the Dry Reef and just behind the Tabby Gordo/Dry Reef Teleporter. Almost impossible to miss
A few notes from “The Entertainer” and “Row Row Row your Boat” can be heard if taken slowly of the Trail on the bottom, the ones away from the Slime Sea, counter-clockwise of the entire ring of chimes the Twinkle Slime made.
This next picture is a better representation of the 2 tunes. They would be played from right to left in the pic below. Left of the Cuberry Tree in the pic below is where the 2 tunes seperate

Similiar to a few Party Gordo Locations. Easily heard and seen where the Rock Gordo/Grotto Teleporter is

Center Area, Top Floor. On the other side of the ravine that holds the Switch, Phase Lemon Tree, and Map Node

The exact same location as July 12-14

Center of the Pond of Ring Island.
Going clockwise of the ring of Chimes the Twinkle Slime made, the double stacked Chime closest to the Slime Sea plays Chopsticks and the single part before it walked in the same pattern plays “She’ll be Coming around the Mountain”.

There also seems to be an increased chance at the other rares (Tarr, Rainbow, Party)
At the 2nd to Last Letter of Hobson’s Ending at the very end of the Glass Desert

The Pool Area on the Bottom Floor just before the one-way teleporter back and the Entrance to the Glass Desert
The two Chime Trails of the center when walked from the farthest end to the center play part of the Ancient Ruins track. Another Chime Trail plays Old MacDonad (where the crosshair is in the pic above, played from left to right using the same picture)

Left of the Tangle Gordo/One-way Teleporter in the Center of the Glass Desert. Very close to the Map Node
The inner ring is the same unfamiliar tune that i don’t know of played from The Pond Tunnel of the Ring Island of Dry Reef’s Twinkle slime

Instantly in sight when dropping down the Entrance to the Moss Blanket
Going counter-clockwise of the ring of Chimes surroung the Pool. The back side plays Beethoven’s Fur Elise (Starts where the crosshair is in the pic above)
