Overview
This is just a very quick guide on some play area elements in Holodance.
The Floor – Used for Height Reference
The floor with the grid should match your real world floor. This is what is used to measure your height against.
Play Area Boundary
The play area boundary, which is kind of like a guard railing is where your play area ends. Often, this is where the walls of your room are in the real world, so watch out when getting close to these.
Center Indicator
Finally, the center indicator gives you an ideal position to stand. In Story Mode, this may move while playing (for example in Level 3). Obviously, some people prefer having their arms more in a stretched forward kind of pose when they punch the orbs, while others may find it more comfortable when the orbs coming closer and the arms are close to the body. So, while this is what we consider the ideal standing position, you may enjoy playing a little behind or before the center of this circle more.
Also, this will “pump” with the beat. But the reference for the floor still is the grid on the bottom of this indicator.
