Overview
Today, in this book writed by me, we will try to get used to the game called “Sub Rosa” like your boots, we will also learn some new tricks and tips that may be handy and useful.

This whole thing wasn’t created just by me, some of the info was provided from the wikia, so credit goes to whoever made article on it in the wikia page.
Servers and Events
I personally recommend joining (Sub Rosa) world, because there is no round and you can became CEO or employee anytime you want to, plus you’re in open world meaning there are quite more posibilities. There are some events happening too so try taking a look once in a while.
You don’t need to join world or servers with events. You can join any server you want to or even host your very own game.
Cooperation
CO-OP is the very important aspect of this game, or you may not succed in your adventure of making money. Its really important, because during trades, anything can happen. And if you will be alone with lots of money in your briefcase, you can be easily defeated and all of your money will be lost. You just need some teammates to protect and attack. Or just to do some of your things.
Highly recommend: your friends or some old budies that know the game since it was Alpha23.
Highly not recommend: work with Brazilians or RDMers.
Reasons for not higly recommended: Brazilians are ONLY co-operative with people that they are from their homeland and if you will recruit them, you will get shoot in the head because they want corporation only for themselves or they just don’t want any other people from world which is VERY BIG problem.
Next reason is for not playing with RDMers. Of course, you can play with them but others may not see it so bright as you saw it,
Hire people that understand what’s going around. Or your friends. Hiring people that don’t know english or don’t even know the basics of the game, would be stupid to hire them, but you can try it (if you have nerves of steel).
Ignoring/Avoiding bad people
Bad people is another problem that online games have. They can call you “noob” or “♥♥♥♥♥♥” for unknow reason and you didn’t do anything. There is olny ONE solution, avoid or ignore them. They will stop after some time. Bad people may be Russians or some triggred Brazilians that are mad because they died. Don’t react to their words like: “Its your fault, noob”. Just don’t react, or you will wake up unwanted attention.
If they won’t stop, use any means as a last resort. But not on civilians that have spawn protection, you may lose your money.
(Here’s an example of one guy killing his teammate, out of bounds, just for the sake of his lulz.)
Overdosing microphone is bad.
New players think that they are funny, and they will overdose microphone chat with some annoying music or audio. Don’t do that, basically they want attention and pretend they are cool. Nobody does this. You don’t even need to use microphone.

Practice will make you prepared
It’s quite smart to start the practice mode for the first time, pressing the F1 also helps you with the reloading system. You can also spent time here practicing the spray patterns, or take a ride around.

Get away from silly situations.
You probably know that if you die you will lose lots of money, and it’s not mistake of your enemy, but it is yours if you don’t get out from bad situations. Anytime you know that you will 90% die, try to listen to your enemy if he says something and be cooperative, for example here we have a little scenario of Jerry, new player that just managed to get into the town on his own, and bunch of experienced players that were already on a mission. What Jerry didn’t know was that he picked up a weapon alongiside with a gold floppy disk. He wondered what was it all about but suddenly he could hear a speeding car that soon stopped 20 feets away from him.
Player: Hey you! Drop your weapon!
Jerry: Me? Why?
Player: That disk is ours!
Now, Jerry is in the situation where he can die, or escape alive, without losing any money. He must work carefully and quickly, but stress may disturb him during this situation. He needs to get out from the bad situation, so he’s gonna be cooperative and lay down his weapon.
*Jerry drops the MP5, and a gold disk*
Player: Good, now get out from here! Hey and don’t try anything on us or you will get shot right between the eyes!
Jerry: Ok, Ok! Just be cool man and don’t shoot! I will not disturb you.
*Player entered his car with his buddy and they drove back to their base.*
Jerry: Phew, that was close…
Conclusion: Jerry survived, and succesfuly handled the situation
Always think of your body (in game)
Not always the thing you do, like you just quickly press escape, disconnect and rejoin in few seconds, pays off exactly as you expected to. Your body for some reason stays in the game for like a minute, meaning that you are actually still in the game but the player isn’t present. The safest way how to leave in urgent situations and despawn without worrying is by going up to the hospital, then leave.
Knowing some English
English is one of the languages that people use when they talk with each other today, especially on the internet. It is really important that you need to know some of it, at least half of it, or you won’t be much able to talk with the other people. So, try getting used to english language more than ever else since you gotta need it. LOT OF IT..
Companies
There are 6 companies that are now in this game. 3 of them are from old version and 2 are new one. Last one is MegaCorp which is controlled by computer and cannot be accesed and its used in mission such as: Acquisition and Building Acquisition.
Yellow is Goldmen inc.
Red is Nexaco.
Blue is Monsota.
Black is OXS international.
White is Pentacom.
And the last one is the MegaCorp, you can’t join them since this corp is controled by computer, and its used in acquisition, and in building acquisition. The employees usually have no ties, and they sometimes wear sunglasses. Armed with MP5 or pistol.
Don’t mistake MegaCorp agents with the traffic NPCs, because traffic NPCs don’t wear ties. They are not armed!
Since there’s not global chat anymore, you need to use phones to communicate between companies. Check section with “Using phones” for more.
Mission types
There some mission types that you need to know, otherwise i don’t recommend playing this game.
Acquisition , 3-Way Deal , Building Acquisition and Transaction
Acquisition: NPCs pass though the map in a limo, carrying a disk worth various sums of money and percent increases to different teams. The players need to stop the NPCs driving the limo and take the disk back to their base. The limo can only be stopped if it is broken or the driver is killed. When the limo stops, all guards get out and stand stationary, which is much easier than a full-on car chase.
3-way deal: Three of the five teams have a disk. Team one has the disk that team two needs, but team two has the disk team three needs, and team three has the disk team one needs. The teams need to either trade the disks or take them by force. Popular meeting spots for trading the disk are the Park, a wide open space, or the first floor of the Megacorp building, easily identifiable due to it being the tallest building in the city. Trading usually happens in a triangular fashion, like the photo on the right.
Building Acquisition: Building Acquisition is one of the objectives in Sub Rosa. In this objective, the player has to drive their car to a building and take the disk from NPC guards inside the building. The disk is always located on the third floor at the end of the hallway in a large room, on top of a black desk. Guards spawn inside doorways and in rooms inside the building, so always be careful and look into every door to see if there is an NPC. It is safe to shoot the third floor window and walk straight out, as long as you do not jump out and you land on your feet.
Transaction: The most common objective. One team starts with a disk and needs to trade it for stacks of cash. The other teams can either have a clean trade with them exchanging their cash for the disk or they can take it by force, usually ending in a gang war or city-wide firefight, if enough money is involved.

Using phones
The phone is used as a means of communication in-game between companies, as there is no global chat. When you call a company, their phone will ring and you can use either voice or text chat to talk through the phone. There are two phone numbers per company in-game, corresponding to the two phones each company gets when a new day starts or a manager is appointed. The main phone is tan, and the secondary/bodyguard phone is black.
While holding the phone, press left-click to dial, and left-click again to close the dial GUI. If your phone is ringing, it will make a beeping sound; left-click to answer incoming calls and left-click to hang up while in a call.
The phone numbers in-game are as follows:
- 1111 (Goldmen Main/Tan phone)
- 1112 (Goldmen Secondary/Black phone)
- 2222 (Monsota Main/Tan phone)
- 2223 (Monsota Secondary/Black phone)
- 3333 (OXS Main/Tan phone)
- 3334 (OXS Secondary/Black phone)
- 4444 (Nexaco Main/Tan phone)
- 4445 (Nexaco Secondary/Black phone)
- 5555 (Pentacom Main/Tan phone
- 5556 (Pentacom Secondary/Black phone)
- 6666 (Admin, if one has spawned in a phone)
When you left-click holding the phone to dial, a small list showing all of the main phone numbers and their companies will pop up, so you don’t have to worry if you forget the phone numbers.
How to make a lot of money.
Here are some tips that will help you in making money.
1th: Collect keys from these cars and then sell them at Dealer ship (a.k.a. Cars Cars Cars): Turbo (S), Beamer and Helicopter.
When you kill some player that had key from some of the cars listed above, pick ’em up.
2nd: Have good friends that will help you.
3th: Work alone on empty server “Sub Rosa World” or in big group.
If you will be alone, you will be safe from raids, RDM and pissing off players, meaning that all misions will be yours. But if you will work in group, you will have big power and you will get more money too.
4th: Work as FAST as you can.
5th: Make LOT of stocks.
6th: Don’t RDM.
7th: Avoid death.
