Red Dead Redemption 2 Guide

☑ POINTS OF INTEREST for Red Dead Redemption 2

☑ POINTS OF INTEREST

Overview

Created these maps and guide to help those looking for the 49 “sketchable” points of interest scattered across the 5 territories.

Introduction

The guide is organized by region each containing a map, screenshots, quotes from Arthur’s journal and additional information I dug up on the site. There is also an individual MAPS section where the maps are all in one place to prevent any unnecessary scrolling. I’ve also seriously tried to format it best for mobile viewing as well.

All of the graphics and screenshots were created with Photoshop 2020, jedijosh’s Trainer and a custom FreeCam mod. The maps were pieced together in Photoshop from a small collection of screenshots along with the official Redemption font from Rockstar. The same with the Branding Image/Icon.

I have quite a few ideas for additional guides (and videos) in the near future.

Really hope this helps in some way.

If I missed something, or have any additional ideas feel free to comment or even add and dm me.

If you enjoyed the guide or it helped be sure to Rate and Favorite it accordingly. This helps let me know if all the work is worth it and whether I should create more.

Thanks either way!

Here is one of my recent finds (will leave as full link for clarity) –

Just stumbled upon these "Relics" in the game files… from reddeadmysteries

_____________________________________________________________

Based on America’s Stonehenge in Salem, New Hampshire.[en.wikipedia.org]

William Goodwin, looking for evidence of Vinland, or the Vikings North American settlement (now believed to have actually been found in Newfoundland) became convinced the site was in fact made by “Culdees” or Irish Monks who had been fleeing the Vikings and managed to get to New Hampshire long before Columbus discovered the Americas. Despite there being basically no evidence of this, it opened the floodgates to numerous other interpretations of the site.

She decided she would be the first person to ride over Niagara Falls in a barrel. Taylor used a custom-made barrel for her trip, constructed of oak and iron and padded with a mattress. Several delays occurred in the launching of the barrel, particularly because no one wanted to be part of potential suicide. Two days before Taylor’s own attempt, a domestic cat was sent over the Horseshoe Falls in her barrel to test its strength to see if the barrel would break or not. Contrary to rumors at the time, the cat survived the plunge and seventeen minutes later, after she was found with a bleeding head, posed with Taylor in photographs.
