Possible FIX for Win10 Users (Crash on prolog)!
Fix it!
I discovered that fix by investigating my own “crashes”, since when I played the game on the past (low spec PC back then) it worked fine.
If your game is crashing when starting a new game/playing the prologue mission or when there is no “intro videos” (by being either removed or renamed), then this might fix the issue:
– Go to DocumentsMy GamesHuntedDFGameConfigDFEngine.ini
– Locate the option AllowD3D10=False and change it to True
– Save and launch the game
On the past, DirectX 10 was buggy iirc, but on newer machines I guess it does worked not only better but can be the only option for those poorly programmed ports xD
Some specs of my machine for reference:
Windows 10×64 (1909)
Intel I7-7700k
Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
