Overview
A guide about how to find the WMD gun in the sewers and how that place can be used for some good speedrun shortcuts.
WMD gun location (with mostly screenshots)
Before we start, sorry for Gary Coleman everywhere, i was tired of em shooting me all the time so i used Magic *snort* *snort* to turn them into Friendly Garys
Probably most peoples already know this, but when you go behind your house (any day) you’ll see a small pipe leading down to sewers with lots of talibans all around.
Just follow the pipes until you reach this part:
Follow the catwalk until you see a smaller pipe leading to Forest, from there you can jump beside the handrail to the left. There just shoot the little fuse box and wait for the cutscene.
Jump down and follow the path where the talibans came from, you can’t miss it.
You should end up in this place:
From here you have two goals.
First: DO NOT FALL DOWN! Save the game often even if the dude keeps harrassing your mother. 😉
Second: Try to reach the top pipe to get here:
After the level transition, follow the mountain to your right and get to their base. When you get here you should also get the achievement “Found ’em faster than GWB” (best edited pic in da world 10/10)
When you go down to their base and cross the bridge, turn left and follow the path. (please, kick down that radio on your way, i’m begging you)
You should reach this huge building:
Just keep on track and cross the bridge, go up the stairs and look for a small gap on the ground like this, shouldn’t be too hard to miss:
Jump down and the game should automatically save.
Keep walking until you reach a ladder, watch out for guy with rocket launcher!
When you climb up the ladder you should see another one when you come out from the room, first jump on the pipe then reach for the ladder from the metal frames.
Follow the catwalk until you reach this room:
Jump on the rocks to the right to reach the pipe, from there jump on the sides of the wall and go all around it till you reach the vent. Jump down in that little hole.
You almost there, just turn left as soon as you can and go up the rocks, watch out for rocket launcher again. Find a smaller doorframe to the left. You should get to this room:
Here, turn right and you pretty much arrived, go to the nearest cave entrace with some shelves, you find some ammo for the weapon there before the door opens and you see a small cutscene. HOWEVER! Take my word and Save your game here if you play on a harder difficulty. Trust me.
Speedrun Shortcuts! (Wednesday only)
At start of Wednesday quickly run down to the sewers and follow the pipe that leads you in the forest:
As soon as you get there grab the tree and run back to the sewers the way you came from. (BE AWARE! SOMETIMES YOU CAN GET STUCK ON THE PIPES ON YOUR WAY OUT, MAKE SURE TO JUMP SOMETIMES THERE!)
When you get back stay in sewers, follow the pipe back to the catwalk and turn left to the first door, go upstairs and follow the way until you reach pipe to cemetery, simple as that. On your way back from the factory you can do the last 2 missions in the starting area.
