Overview
I’ve decided to post this when I saw there is so much talk about how Psyker OP is but there were just derksuh’s guide. It’s in many terms like mine. But there are quite a few things I do differently and this build can have a high co-op value as a buffer.
Introduction
Well as it says in the description I made this guide as I saw many threads on forums that were saying how OP the psyker is. Only to find out there is only derksuh’s guide here. My build has lots in comon to his, but I use few interesting mechanics not mentioned there that I wanted to share. As well this build has high co-op value.
Items
Well first things first.
You will need 2 additional slots which goes with
Warpbound Armor and Psychic Focus
Set 1: Staff (Pretty much any you like but Pyro is a best IMHO as it will still have AoE attack that will utilize most of your bonuses). It’s pretty much an utility set. So while lvling you can use it to pump up power rating while still having your favorite bonus items in set 2
Set 2: Warp Rods. That is your main set
Inaculator:
Stat: Reset cd on kill with it you can pretty much keep the inaculator up all the time and 5 in Ressilience would be great too it will add 1 sec to all effects.
20% hp for 20 sec
10% DMG for 20 sec
50% Speed for 20 sec
Capacity (You can change this one if you like)
Powers
And there is a little trick here. As you use Warpbound Armor and Psychic focus you have two additional slots to add your powers, but their cd won’t reset everytime you switch weapons just like your armor and belts does
Set 1 Staff: Death Augry(Have no actual duration), Misfortune, Endurance, Divine Shot, Warp Speed (Set 3-4 of your liking) remember to keep it as set 1 so you can fully buff up at the mission start
Runes: All – CD, Duration, Effectivnes (see variety for more options)
Set 2 Rods: Bio-Lightning, Fiery Form, Haemorrhage(3), Firestorm(4)
Runes:
Bio-Lightning – Pretty much anything you like orand had spare skill points to get
Fiery Form – CD, Duration, Heat Cost
Haemorrhage – Area, CD, Effectivness
Firestorm – Area, Heat Cost, Effectivness (see variety for more options)
Skills
That’s somewhat simple and obvious:
Psychic Combat: (it goes first as you can reach it pretty early in game and it will give a buff for your rods that you’ll feel a lot at early in game)
Full AoE: (goes second with the Area increasement taken first it will benefit your weapons and skills)
DoT: (Yeah Firestorm, Haemorrhage, Bio-Lightning(well this one should at least) all give DoT’s and if you have problems one-shoting some Heavy Armor you can slow it down and sieze it’s regen by just keeping up your standart cycle)
There is one point left. It can be tossed on -20% Damage to burning oponents(DoT), or +5% Crit on max heat(Crit) if you prefer high heat set up (see veraity) or pretty much anything you like
Perks & Attributes
You should pretty much aim to make all heroic deeds to have max stats, you will get 5 Ressilience 7 Force and 9 Psy Focus (Empyreanist). Some are harder to achive then others so it will be a most long term goal.
The only thing essential here is 15 Psy Focus (As I don’t like to always look at purple screen). (see varaity for more options)
Perks are:
Psychic Boon (Psychic Buffs have a 100% more duration on self)
Retrograde Psychic Dominion (+100% damage on 0 Warp Heat),
Psychic Channeling (+8% dmg for every psy skill in slots)

Stats
Stat priority is: Bonus Damage [AoE tag], PyromancyBiomancy Damage, Critical Chance, Critical Strenght, DoT Duration, Warp Heat, Warp Heat Cost(pass on this two for high heat build), Movement Speed
Special Stats: Inaculator – Reset cd on Kill
Couldn’t yet find some really good relic stats for it yet, but damage bonus for debuffs on target for weapons and 20 movement speed after using psy power on armor seems legit atm.
Varaity & Co-Op
First there is a high heat variant of the same build which will give you more damage as a result but I really can’t stand playing when everything is purple so if you don’t like my concept of remaining on low heat, you can always spit on it and:
1) Switch all heat runes on powers for anything you like
2) Switch Retrograde Psychic Dominion for Mind Rift III
3) Add Warpshock Crit Skill
4) Don’t invest much in Psy Focus as it will give you more warp heat to warm up until you are at full and don’t go for 10-15 as it will lower heat costs of all powers and your weapons would vent more heat. Invest in force instead get +10% damage above 75% warp heat, and the damage it self from force points.
Second is buffs. I’m lazy and don’t like to switch much to buff up again, but with Psychic Boon you can remove CD and Time Runes on buffs to add HP per sec orand speed or anything you like and have spare skill points to invest
And the third is co-op option. You can go as full buffer with a set 1 switch Psychic Boon for Presistent Attrition to add up DPS and debuffs with DoT’s and AoE’s from set 2. Set a co-op runes in buffs. Or you can just give beggars 2 of your “non-cd” buffs and remain a decent Damage Dealer.
And as last you still can invest your free point in Vulnerability (Psychic Debuffs). And put Molten Beam instead of a bio-lightning or fiery form.

With AoE skills fixed now, you most probably won’t one shot Heavy Armors like Leman Russ Tanks and Sentinels. But they still die like a charm wo so beloved by all molten beam. Just put DoT’s on target and keep them up (Burning will prevent regeneration). Then stand behind the unit. Both of them are pretty slow on turns and can’t attack backwards so you pretty much go from side to side behind it’s back while unit is dying.
