Overview
*I will be expanding on this guide, on different topics slowly until I (hopefully) reach every single topic. Comment down below what topic you want next*
C.U. Intrepid
The Colonial Union Intrepid is a beginner ship and is usually the first ship players use due the fact that… well because its the first option. It is a small sized ship and is considered to be an all-rounder

C.U. Roland
The Roland is by far the largest ship in the game and is supposed to be a “tank” style ship. Due to its sheer size it has the most amount of cargo slots and is quite hard to be boarded due to the fact that
- The boarder has to cover a lot of distance to reach an objective and
- The inside is so large it is basically a battleground
The roland is also 1 of the slowest in the game.

C.U. Outrider
The outrider is a small sized research ship belonging to the Colonial Union Faction. It is not meant for early game combat and therefore should do missions instead. To compensate for its weakness it is very agile and can easily escape from most combat. It also has a specific room for research purposes, which grows research plants once every jump.

W.D. Cruiser
The W.D. Cruiser is my personal favourite. Its fairly quick, does heaps of damage, starts with the second most hull. It was the first ship i ever chose (i divided the thrust by mass and that was highest ratio and it had second highest hull, yes ik that calculation doesn’t make any sense but I had nothing to work with). Although I only used it for 5 minutes before switching to another ship. It is probably the best ship in the W.D. faction, and the extra damage does not hurt.

W.D. Destroyer
The W.D. Cruiser might have been the first ship i played as however it feels like the W.D. Destroyer was the first ship i truly played. My first “real” game was with the W.D. destroyer, so normally you would think that makes me biased towards that however frankly its quite the opposite. Due to the fact that the Destroyer is so bad, it being my first ship magnifies that experience, the ship is supposed to be the W.D. equivalent of the Roland being the only other ship i would consider “large sized” but if you are going to be big commit to it. It is slightly lighter but has a worse reactor and is therefore not practical

W.D. Annihilator
The W.D. Annihilator is supposed to be an “odd ship”, literally spawning in and looking at the ship shows its lack of symmetry which is a sign on why its “experimental.” It’s medium sized and almost all of its equipment is experimental. It also starts off with 0 credits so you have to use the new equipment. It also has a different Main Turret which heats both the enemies and your reactor. The ship is quite interesting to say the least.

A.O.G. Stargazer
The Stargazer is the smallest ship of the A.O.G. (Alliance of Gentlemen), the ‘criminal’ faction of PULSAR. It is quite fast and comes equipped with a cloaking system, which renders the ship invisible to other vessels if activated. This is useful if a crew wishes to bypass sectors completely unnoticed, or sneak up on another ship. It also has four hidden cargo slots which are hidden from cargo inspection robots. The entrance to the hidden cargo area can be found in the lower galley, behind a panel of ‘wall’ on the port side.
