Overview
This guide will help you to complete the game.
Introduction
Since there is no walkthrough for this game yet, I decided to make one. There have been some useful info in this and this thread (I used them myself), but I feel that it’s better to compile them in a guide instead.
First Things First
There are 4 endings in the game. It’s possible to get them all in a single playthrough, but it will require saving and loading a lot, especially since the game only has 1 save slot. I’ll try to optimize the walkthrough for this, but feel free to play your first run as you wish and start a new game with a guide afterward.
As for battle, feel free to choose anything that you want. I usually just use diplomacy since you’ll get half exp if you succeed, but I don’t think you need to level up a lot to finish the game.
As for the sword, I usually choose the one with the highest attack to finish battle faster.
Walkthrough
Keep on saying “No” until the narrator starts the game by himself. After the game ask you your name, keep on choosing the second option until you get an achievement.
Annoy the narrator
Starting off well I see
1. Adventure Cave
Follow the path and talk to anyone you meet. There isn’t anything to note since it’s a tutorial area. You’ll reach a potion fountain at the end of the road. Use it to save.
After the cutscene on the next screen, you can head north to see another cutscene and/or head east to go to your next destination. Save in the potion fountain.
Follow the path until you reach another fountain. There’s a locked door here. Head 2 screens east to find the switch. While the puzzle is obvious, move the rock to the wrong path first, then push it to the south side. It’ll unlock an entrance with Ancient Sword in it. You can equip it from the menu which is accessible through the Escape button.
Exit the area to solve the puzzle and return to the locked door to enter it.
In the riddle room, enter the right path. Solution: A towel, His breath, Silence. Save in the potion fountain. There’s a boss at the next screen.
Boss: Giant Screaming Cave Worm
It’s like a normal bat with bigger hitbox and HP. Make sure to keep on moving to spread out its attacks. It’ll be easier to dodge between its bullets that way.
If you reached level 5 after the battle like me, you’ll get this achievement.
Level 5
You reached level 5
Your mentor is waiting for you on the next screen. Exit the cave.
Almost completed adventurer training
You probably got the important bits
Feel free to explore the east area if you want. Head north once you’re done. If you keep on fighting the enemies, you’ll bound to get an achievement.
Slay all day
That’ll teach those wild animals to live in peace
Choosing diplomacy over and over will also net you an achievement. To be honest, I just use diplomacy all the time and battle the ones who can’t be finished with it.
Master of brefriendment
A true peacemaker
Guess what? You also can get an achievement by running away. Keep on running away afterward to get an achievement.
Running away simulator
You know there are other options too right?
Head north another screen. There is a goblin village hidden in the east exit here (walk east from the red flower).
There’s nothing to do in the village so just return to the previous intersection and continue north. Enter the town.
2. Town and Dragon Cave
Enter the building with the blue roof for a cutscene. Head north and enter “The Red Dragon” inn. Talk to the woman and exit the building for a cutscene. Enter the building with the blue roof again and interact with the sword to get Guardian’s Sword. Again, exit the building and follow Celladore, your mentor, to the east exit.
Follow the path until you reach a potion fountain. Head to the west exit afterward and interact with the tree branch to open a shortcut. Enter the cave to the east of the potion fountain.
Note that the story branches here. Make sure to save after you enter the cave. If you want to continue the game normally, head to the east path. I’ll mark the other path as spoilers in case you want to experience it later.
Don’t head to the east path (feel free to try it though, but don’t save the game after you reach the end). Instead, return to Adventure Cave. There will be an exit east from the area where you came from the cave.
Yes, it’s connected to the Dragon Cave. Interact with the dragon from her front legs.
Keep on slaying the dragon 3 times to reach an ending and obtain an achievement.
Dragonslayer Ending
Slayers gotta slay
Now, load your save and do this thing again, but say no instead. This is needed for another ending later.
Almost rescued someone from a dragon
At least your heart was in the right place
Return to the town.
3. Dark Forest and Magic Tower
Talk to Celladore in front of the inn. Talk to the guard (Darron) to open the passage to the west exit.
The path is a bit of a maze. Keep on going until you reach a sign that says “If you made it this far, there’s over a 50% chance you’ll survive the rest.”. There is a hidden path if you follow the southwest exit.
Take the axe and return to the previous screen. Follow the path until you reaach another sign that says “The kingdom congratulates you on making it through the dark forest”. Keep on heading to the east exit until you reach a ladder. Kick down the ladder to create a shortcut to the entrance. Now, head to the east exit for a hidden area with Onyx Sword.
Return to the sign and head to the west exit.
I reached level 10 inside the forest, so if you also in the same level, you’ll get this achievement.
Level 10
You reached level 10
Keep on heading west until you reach a cave. Enter the cave to meet the dwarf in the Dragon Cave. He made the shortcut to the Dragon Cave, so enter it and talk to the innkeeper to give her your axe.
A friend in need
of an axe
Return to the previous area and head east. Enter the Magic Tower.
You need to solve the challenge in both east and west exit. Activate the light(?) at the end of the challenge and use the warp to return to the entrance. Head to the east path for now.
Tip: some path might not be obvious that they are passable.
There is a Crystal Rapier if you interact with the red book in the last room.
Again, the path branches off here. If you follow the instruction with the spoiler mark in the Dragon Cave, you should be able to unlock another ending. If you don’t, ignore the spoiler mark.
The room should also hold a purple key near the exit. Take the key and exit the tower.
Head east, then north 1 screen. Make sure to save beforehand. Interact with the door to open it.
Secret Ending
Who doesn’t like secrets?
Load your save and reenter the Magic Tower.
Finish the west path this time.
Solutions: 1. Interact with the pillar.
2. Interact with the northeast and southwest pillar.
3. Interact with the middle west, middle north, northwest, southeast, middle south, middle east, and center pillar.
Head north and follow the path. Notice the number. You need to go until the number goes to 1. Solution: 9 -> north (to 7)
7 -> north (to 5)
5 -> east (to 8)
8 -> north (to 6)
6 -> north (to 4)
4 -> west (to 2)
2 -> south (to 3)
3 -> north (to 1)
1 -> north (exit)
Exit the tower.
Almost found a wizard
Could have gone a lot worse I suppose
Return to the town through the Dark Forest.
4. Coast
Talk to Darron near the telescope on the lake. Return to the Magic Tower entrance from the house the witch was coming from.
Head east, then north. Remember the blue-red flower here. You’ll be able to pick it up later.
Head close to the magic door for a cutscene. Return to the dragon cave, talk to the dragon, and return to this screen to pick up the flower. Feel free to keep it or give it to the dragon – you still need 2 more items anyway. Once you’re done, head north.
Follow the path until you reach a bridge. Head east to reach a secret area with Sentinels Falchion in it.
There is a shell in the north exit. Pick it up. It’s your second decoration piece.
Follow the path until you see the knight.
Almost covertly met up with a source
Maybe the next thing will go smoothly
After the cutscene ends, head to the east exit. There is an area with a bow to the south exit, but your destination is to the cave on the east exit. Enter the Dragon Cave and return to the town.
5. Mountain
Enter the inn for a cutscene. Head to the witch’s Magic Tower afterward.
Talk to the witch and she’ll ask you to fetch a book for her. The book is in the goblin village. If you forget where it is, just keep on heading south from the town until you see a red flower. Head east from there.
Talk to the leader and return to the witch.
Book recovery service
I wonder what was in it
Head to the screen where the dragon is and throw a party. Feel free to give your decorations to the dragon while you’re at it. Save before entering Coast entrance.
Head east and talk to the innkeeper. Exit the area to greet the guests. Once you’re done, keep on reentering this screen to greet your next batch of guests. Interact with the balloon in the party area when you want to wrap it up.
Party o’clock
If only there was a roof to raise
DO NOT save by any means until I told you. The game only has 1 save slot and you must play the game again from the beginning if you mess this up. Return to the orange knight’s, Frynn’s, campsite and head east. Interact with the giant tree blocking your way to continue your adventure.
Interact with the snow to the north to get the last decoration for the dragon.
Give it to the dragon and return to this area.
Interior decorator
Turning a cave into a cluttered cave
Follow the path until you see Frynn’s spears on the background. Head east to find another sword, Mornings Virtue.
The rest of the path is very straightforward.
Orc friend
Finding allies wherever you look
Once you recruit the orc, LOAD your save. Yes, this time, don’t go to the Coast and do everything again until you see the orc in the mountain. You’ll battle him this time.
Boss: Orc
To be honest, this is the hardest fight in this game. The axe is deadly and can give you a game over if you’re not careful. I used Mornings Virtue just for this fight for the heals (trigerred with the X button).
Orc slayer
Some good XP there
The reason why we are killing the orc is because we won’t be able to get a sword in the next potion fountain if we take the orc as an ally. Take the Dark Edge sword.
Follow the path for your next cutscene.
Almost snuck through the mountains unnoticed
So close
I reached level 20 in mountains, so you can also get this achievement if you also reached the same level. If you aren’t level 20 yet, try grinding for levels in this area since it’ll be hard to level up after this.
Level 20
You reached level 20
6. King’s Castle
Head inside the inn. Talk to Celladore.
Great motivator
You know just what not to say
Head inside the dragon cave for a cutscene.
Enter the newly-made tunnel to the King’s Castle.
Boss: Castle Knight
The shield might be annoying. Time your attack so it doesn’t get blocked by the shield. The boss will change its weapon to a spear on the next round. Watch out for the spear throw. You’re free to attack after it happens though.
Defeat the knight and save the others. Follow the path until you reach another potion fountain. Interact with the left pedestal near the exit to open one of the locked rooms below the fountain that contains Imperial Greatsword in it.
The whole nine swords
One for every occasion
Save before continuing the next area. If you do as what I said, all of your comrades should help you in battle except for the orc. If not, you’ll have to fight Castle Knights over and over.
You’ll be given two choices at the ending. Whichever you choose, you’ll get an achievement. Note that you must hover the cursor to whichever choice that you want before the timer runs out.
Feel free to choose any choice and load your save to get the other ending.
If you choose to stop the king, you’ll get:
You beat the game
Good job!
If you choose to do nothing, you’ll get:
Bad Ending
Bad job!

Afterword
The game sure has some tricky secrets. Luckily, there are already a lot of information shared on the discussion threads so I just need to compile them. Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy the game! 🙂
