Overview
This guide will help you get all the Achievements for RAGE, including all The Scorchers DLC, in detail with helpful tips and additional information.
Introduction
Hello and welcome to the RAGE Achievement Guide. Here you can find any information you’ll need to get all the Achievements. They have been grouped into categories for easier navigation.
I hope that the content will be to your satisfaction.
Campaign Achievements
These achievements are awarded for completing the campaign on various difficulties.
Finish the Campaign on any difficulty.
Finish the Campaign on at least Normal difficulty.
Finish the Campaign on at least Hard difficulty.
Finish the Campaign on Nightmare difficulty.
Finish the Campaign on Ultra Nightmare difficulty.
Tips for playing on higher difficulties:
- Save often and early, you never know when you will turn a corner and be ambushed or overwhelmed.
- Play the game first on normal or easy so get a hang for how the enemy AI works and what strategies and weapons are most effective for each type of opponent.
- Use cover and stealth as often as you can, and avoid getting flanked. Prioritize your targets and don’t let anyone get close to you.
These are awarded for completing certain quests in the campaign.
Complete Ghost Hideout in the Campaign
Complete Wasted Garage in the Campaign
Complete Mutant Bash TV in the Campaign
Complete Shrouded Bunker in the Campaign
Complete Dead City in the Campaign
Complete The Well in the Campaign
Complete Authority Prison in the Campaign
Complete Dead City Reverse in the Campaign
Complete Blue Line Station in the Campaign
Complete Gearhead Vault in the Campaign
Complete Power Plant in the Campaign
Complete Jackal Canyon in the Campaign
Weapon Related Achievements
These achievements are awarded for completing certain tasks with a specific weapon.
Get 10 Headshot kills with the Sniper Rifle
- Aim for the head and make sure you shoot them in the face on higher difficulties.
Get 10 Headshot kills with the Wingstick
- You have to aim for the head and it will take a bit of practice to master. Mutants and low armor enemies work best. When they charge, you should have a clear line of sight.
Get 3 kills with a single Sentry Bot
- You will have to purchase the Sentry Bot schematic after the quest “Dan’s Message” from a shop. Sentry Bots are tough and helpful on every difficulty. Mutants and low armor enemies are prime targets. Protect and assist your Sentry Bot, but make sure it kills the enemies.
Stealth Kill 10 Enemies with the Striker Crossbow
- To sneak, you have to crouch and not be detected by enemies. Aim for the head, as a bodyshot will not be a kill and will alert enemies. Pretty much any enemy is fair game, but mutants are less likely to detect you.
Get 5 Kills with one deployed Sentry Turret
- You will have to purchase the Sentry Turret schematic after the quest “Dan’s Message” from a shop. While they do have an excellent rate of fire, Sentry Turrets can easily be knocked over. Protect it be making enemies follow you and let the turret get the kills. Mutants work best, and can easily be distracted.
Kill 3 enemies with one RC Bomb Car
- This one will require more luck than skill. You will get the RC Bomb Car schematic during the “Destroy the Bomb Caches” quest given by Sheriff Black. Enemies will shoot at the bomb car and will destroy it quickly. The best way is to sneak up on a bunch of enemies in a room and detonate it before they realize it’s there. Save before you try it, because it might take several attempts.
Kill 100 Enemies with Sentry Bots, Sentry Turrets or RC Bomb Cars
- Sentry Bots work the best, because they are mobile, have a melee attack, and are more tactical than the stationary turret or the detectable bomb car. Mutants are the best cannon fodder and are plentiful. Especially in the Dead City quest you will have more than enough to kill. Always keep at least one Sentry Bot in your inventory.
Kill at least 3 Enemies with a single Mind Controlled Enemy
- You will have the Mind Control Darts for the Crossbow once you attack the Authority Prison. You should find a group of enemies that are pretty close together and then make your victim detonate and kill 3 enemies. Save before trying this, because it will take a few attempts.
Game Play Achievements
These achievements are by reaching a certain goal or doing something unique during the entire single player campaign.
Win a Race in the Campaign
- This is impossible to miss. You have to come first or beat the Par Time for the time trial event at the Wellspring Speedway.
Win all Races in the Campaign
- Pretty simple; all races at the Wellspring Speedway and the Subway Town speedway. You might have to upgrade your car to keep up, but you will have enough racing certificates.
Construct 10 Engineering Items
- Using the crafting section of your inventory, craft any 10 items.
Construct 50 Engineering Items
- Same as above, just craft items. Bandages, Lock Grinders and special ammo are very useful and practical.
Kill an Authority Enforcer during a Jetpack Descent
- Aim for the back with the sniper rifle and it should be pretty easy. If you encounter an authority dropship, save and reload the checkpoint if need be. Alternatively, the Job Board quest “The Exchange” is a good place to earn this achievement (it unlocks after liberating Captain Marshall).
Destroy 100 Enemy Cars
- Both cars destroyed in Races and out in the Wasteland count towards this achievement. Keep plenty of ammo when roaming the wasteland and complete all races and this achievement should come easily.
Complete 5 Job Board Quests
- In Wellspring and Subway Town there are Job Boards where you can complete jobs for money. Simply complete any 5.
Earn 750 Dollars in one episode of Mutant Bash TV
- After completing Mutant Bash TV for the Campaign, you can come back for a re-run, and do everything again, except the Kraken at the end. Come prepared with plenty of Shotgun ammo and Bandages and observe the following:
- Accuracy: You earn you accuracy rating in cash (Aim for 100%)
- Speed: The faster you are than the Par Time, the more cash you earn.
Save beforehand, so you don’t have to purchase more ammo in case you don’t succeed at first.
Run over 10 Mutants
- This can be easily done during the quest “Assault on the Authority Bridge”. Mutants will be standing around the gate and you can splatter them there.
- Run over the first three you encounter
- Get out of your car to spawn three more and run them over
- Blow the Gate and four more should appear. Run them over as well.
Find the secret Developer Graffiti Room
- This can be done during the side-quest “Abandoned Distillery”. Refer to the video below how to get access to the room.
Minigame Achievments
These achievments are awareded for wining minigames.
Roll 4 Targets in the first round of Tombstones
- In Wellspring or Subway Town, you will find the Tombstones minigame which is the one with the hologram projector. Save before playing and simply roll until you win with four Targets in the first roll. This is easier to do on lower difficulties for some reason.
Beat Teague’s hardest Deck
- You can find Teague in Subway Town’s bar, Fez. You have to beat her Card Game on the Hard difficulty. If you have collected many cards throughout your campaign, it’s just a matter of luck. Save before playing in case you lose your money.
Complete the final round of Strum
- In Subway Town you can find a guy with a guitar and play Strum. You can beat this with just skill, but if you want to be sure write down the sequence that he plays. There are 6 rounds, and each round 3 more notes are added, expect the last one which only has 1 additional note.
Complete the final round of 5 Finger Filet
- Warning: This one will drive you mad. You will have to practice and you will rage quit. The first 4 rounds can be done with practice, but the 5th round is randomized. Just keep your cool and use your index finger to mash space because it has the fastest reaction time. Practice and be patient.
Win all Minigames
- This achievement is a bit misleading. You don’t have to beat all the minigames on the hardest difficulty; you simply have to win some cash from each one.
Collectibles Achievments
These achievements are awarded for collecting a particulat type of item throughout the campaign.
Perform all 18 Vehicle Jumps
- Vehicle jumps are counted when you destroy the Authority Drone. They are scattered throughout both the Northern and Eastern Wasteland. You might have to get another vehicle or upgrade yours to reach some drones. Check the video below for all the jumps.
Score each of the 3 Field Goals from the ATV
- In the Eastern Wasteland there are 3 field goals (from American Football), which can be scored by launching yourself off the ATV. Check the video below for the locations.
Collect all Recepies and Schematics in one play-through
- Recepies are rewarded and found throughout the campaign. I recommend buying them as soon as possible so you don’t forget them later on. Check the table below for details.
Collect all Playing Cards in one play-through
- You will have to watch out for them from the start of the game, so you might want to do this on your second play through. You should get each card as soon as you can to make sure you don’t miss any. Check the video and the table below for the locations.
Reach 100% Completion in the Campaign
- This is probably the most tedious achievement, but it’s not that hard. You need to essentially do everything in the game. Under the Statistics Page (accessible by pressing TAB and selecting the right-most option), you can see that you need to amass 130 points. You have to do the following:
- Complete all Job Board Quests in Wellspring and Subway Town(8 Points)
- Completing the “Abandoned Distillery Quest” (1 Point)
- Get all Vehicle Jumps (18 Points)
- Collect all Collector Cards (54 Points)
- Collect all Schematics (19 Points)
- Winning all Races posted at the Wellspring Speedway or Subway Town Speedway (27 Points)
- Winning the Dusty 8 Sponsored Event (1Point)
- Successfully playing all the minigames in the base game. (1 Point)
- Wingstick Mastery (Beat the Record)
- Rage Frenzy (Any difficulty)
- Tombstones (Win in a single roll)
- Five Finger Filet (Win any amount – you can cash out after winning round 1)
- Strum (Win any amount – you can cash out after winning round 1)
- Finishing the Campaign (1 Point)

Scorchers DLC Achievements
The Scorchers DLC adds achievements to the game, as well as many hours of fun. I highly recommed that you get it if you can.
These are awarded for completing the quests associated with the Scorchers Job Path.
Complete Hagar Caves in The Scorchers job path.
Complete Refinery in The Scorchers job path.
Complete Bash Canyon in The Scorchers job path.
Complete Wellspring Tunnels in The Scorchers job path.
Complete Scorcher Base in The Scorchers job path.
These are awarded for killing enemies with the Nailgun attachements, obtainable only with the Scorchers DLC.
Pin an Enemy to a surface with a Rebar ammo shot
- You will have to select the Nail Gun and then change the ammo type to Rebar. You want to be fairly close or around the corner from an enemy and make sure that they walk past a proper wall (preferably indoors). Then aim for the torso, because headshots don’t stick to the wall.
Kill 2 Enemies with one Railgun Slug through a wall
- You will have to select the Nail Gun and then change the ammo type to Railgun. By using the scope you will be able to see through walls and enemies will be outlined. Make sure 2 are standing close to each other or in a line and shoot.
These are awarded for completing minigames, accessable only with the Scorchers DLC.
Bet and win on Green in the Roly-Poly mingame
- Visit the Jackpots gambling den in Wellspring and bet only on green. It’s chance based, so save before you play and then spend money until you win with green. Reload if you want your money back.
Win with Four of a Kind in the Video Poker mingame
- Visit the Jackpots gambling den in Wellspring and approach a terminal to play Video Poker. It’s chance based, so save before you play. Then hold cards if you have 2 or 3 of the same type and hope for the best. Reload if you want your money back.
