Overview
Are you tired of losing to other Civs because you can not build Wonders fast enough? Then Egypt is the Civ for you. Led by Ramses II, Egypt has its Unique Ability, Monument Builders, which gives a full 20% production boost when building wonders. Also Egypt has acces to its Unique Unit, the War Chariot and its Unique Building the Burial Tomb. The War Chariot is an early unit to fight against the foes of Egypt in the early game. The Burial Tomb, the Unique Building, provides Happiness and makes getting into Golden Ages faster, giving more production towards wonders. With its Unique Building and Unit, along with its Unique Ablity, Egypt is ready to strike against its foes and build a lot of wonders.
Egypt, The Masters of Production
Egypt is the best Civ if you plan on building a lot of wonders throughout your game. The Unique Ablity, Monument Builders, gives 20% increase in production towards all wonders. This gives Egypt the opportunity to push out a lot of wonders early on and throughout the game. This advantage can aslo be expanded if you choose the Tradition Social Policy, which gives another 15% boost to producing wonders, allowing Egypt to pump out more wonders in less time, a full 35% total boost to production of wonders if the player decides to grab Tradition, which I highly recommend.
Other than an increase to wonder production, Egypts Unique Building, the Burial Tomb, keeps your citizens happy and allows you to get into Golden Ages more often, which can increase your production of wonders even more. Depending on how happy your cities are and how many you have, the Golden Ages and the Burial Tombs, plus the Unique Ability, gives Egypt the edge in not just producing Wonders, but also other buildings and units.
Egypts Unique Unit, the War Chariot, is a good early game unit that can help you defend and fight foes early on. And with the production boost during Golden Ages or with a lot of production in your cities, Egypt can quickly produce an army to defend its cities or to conquer new ones.
Questions?
This is probably the shortest guide that I have ever done on a Civ, but still, if there are any questions or comments, post them below.
