Introduction

Hey, there peoples this guide is meant for people that already kills at least 500 zombies (there’s an achievement for that) and for the one that haven’t please leave because this guide will make you dead after 2 minutes playing anyway…

So, in this guide i will tell you about being a pro that’s really effective for your team.

Pros (other people opinion)

this must be what you people think is pros (i guess):

  • Last survivor
  • THE ONLY Extracted survivor
  • Many guns
  • kills 5000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 zombies
  • saves ur a$$
  • I’ve ran out of idea sorry 😀

Basically you see them working in action.

Pros (my opinon)

People those works on the background are pros for me:

  • Ammo gatherer (and put them to base)
  • FEMA gatherer
  • welderman (to open locked stuff like in nms_northway, the gun shop and the hospital locked room)
  • weapons finder (and put them to base)
  • cracker (opens secret doors but didn’t loot the ALL of the stuffs)
  • people who gives tips, like “v for shoving the zombies everyone!” or “Don’t waste ammo :3”
  • Lead the team, always at frontline, BUT didn’t leave the rest of the team

Basically people that you guys hate because they’re noisy (except spammers i hate them too >:( )

What we pro must do to be an efficient pro?

MAIN TIPS
1.) You must know the maps (secrets, flare guns, supply drop places, special rooms, codes (many guides have those), objectives (for nmo_ / operations) If you know these stuff, you can make at lease to wave 3 with your teams, because you will have so many supply of weapons and ammo
2.) Whats items will suit your situation (when to use melee, bandages, guns, pills) doing stuff that doesn’t fit the situation will make the next situation worse:

  • like using pills at the first second you got infected
  • uses health box when there’s 5-10 zombies left (you better go to console {~ on default} and do the command “kill”)
  • waste 1000000 ammo to kill 1 zombie
  • kill other people ( usually happens when you were sniping and kill everyone you see { You can’t see name tags if realism (?) option is turn on <most server did that>})
  • MINE ALL MINE!!!
  • “some more stuff that i didn’t mention”

3.) Keep those “noobs” alive, good experience will make them pro eventually…
4.) After spawning you should run (in wave one usually there’s only walker that is very slow) into those “special place” where you will get:

  • Health Box
  • Welder (if needed)
  • Weapons
  • Recommended weapons (scroll to know those weapons)
  • Flare guns (shoot to sky to get supply box < take note that it won’t come if you didn’t finish the last supply box>
  • Bandages
  • Pills

5.) Lone Wolf, you will attract zombies and the other teammates can flank the zombies
6.) Gives tips like:

  • V to shove
  • shift to run

7.) masters recommended weapons
8.) base saver (repairman)
9.) team player
10.) respawn ticket owner

Recommended Weapons (class)

I like TF2 so i put these sets into classes
Set (classes):

SCOUT
weps:

  • baseball bat
  • flashlight ( if needed)

Job:

  • Take stuff to base (your inventory is very empty for those stuff)
  • Lone Wolf (Bait)
  • Moving camper (kill zombies then leave)
  • Repairman
  • Code Cracker

Requirements:

  • Advanced melee tech

WHY Baseball bat??

  • Doesn’t take that much inventory
  • fast light melee attack (spam left click)
  • stamina used is not as big as fire axe
  • charged attack CAN do 2-4 hit kill
  • Melee (blunt weapons have bigger chance to knockback (25% on light attack and 75% on heavy attack)

Soldier
weps:

  • Heavy weapons ( shotty, rifle,SKS)
  • Fire Axe ( sledge hammer is so heavy)

Job:

  • Guards base
  • Push trough the zombies
  • TANK! (if needed)

Requirements:

  • Basic pusher (v spammer)
  • Straight-to-head bayonetman (if you do have SKS)
  • Marksman

Best Team

Have at least:
1-2 scouts
2-5 solly

Weapon Review

Melee

  • The Fist

People think that fist are completely useless, but have you guys know that fist have a high chance of knockback on charged attack? running with fist as active “weapon” cover you more distance.but as a “fist” it didn’t deal many damage. As a “one handed melee” fist is spammable without losing many stamina. And with its crazy knockback, you can use this “weapon” as a last resort for running away from group of zombies. (as a “blunt weapon”, fist have high chance of knockback)

  • The Kitchen Knive

I personally never used this weapon that much, but this weapon is good for carriers (people that carry stuff for their team) cause this weapon didn’t take that much of inventory and make you carry more stuff. due to its “less weight” carrying this as your only weapon also make you cover more distance when running. But this weapon deal small damage and have small range, perferablly used in Obejctive map or as a “scout”. Also as a “one handed melee” Kit Knive can is spammable without losing many stamina. But remember, sharp-edged melee didn’t have that much knockback chance, and with its low damage and short range, the Kit Knive is perfered to be charged.(as a one handed melee, it is possible to use this weapon with maglite) (as a sharp edged weapon, Kit Knive have low chance of knockback)

  • Hatchet

My most favourite weapon, not only dealing s*** ton of damage, this weapon didn’t take a lot of inventory. it only take 1 to 2 swing to pop a zombie’s head. Running around with this as the only weapon in your inventory covers moderate distance. This weapon have a medium range and as a “one handed melee” hatchet can is spammable without losing many stamina. The light attack pf a Hatchet can kill multiply zombies at once. (as a one handed melee, it is possible to use this weapon with maglite) (as a sharp edged weapon, Hatchet have low chance of knockback)

  • Baseball Bat

Bashing zombies skulls with this weapon is very fun, as one of the most spammy weapon is the game, Baseball bat can be considered deadly. The range of spam can kill ~7 zombies per one cluster of spam (till you ran out of stamina). the knockback dealt by this weapon give advantage to the spam, so you have less risk of getting chomped by a zombie. the attack dealt by this weapon is moderate and have a considerably long attack range.(as a two handed melee, it is not possible to use this weapon with maglite) (as a blunt weapon, Baseball Bat have high chance of knockback)

  • Fire Axe

This baby deals a ♥♥♥♥ tonne of damage, one hit kill all zombie, even on light attacks (note that light attack uses more stamina and number of zombie killed in one bash also affects the usage of stamina). Fire Axe uses a lot space in inventory, but it will make your dependecy on melee (which means ammo consumption). With the fire axe in your inventory, the range for sprinting will be decreased greatly, which means less stamina for zombie killing, because of the dependecy on NOT running, fire axe is good for ground holding where you don’t need stamina for sprinting.(as a two handed melee, it is not possible to use this weapon with maglite) (as a sharp weapon, Fire Axe have low chance of knockback)

  • Sledgehammer

This is basicly a reskin for fire axe, which means all attribute is basiclly the same, except for the part where sledgehammer is a blunt weapon (i do perfer the sledge than the fire axe)

  • Pipe wrench (monkey wrench)

This thing deals almost same damage like the KIT knive, i think the only different attributes between them is that the wrench is a blunt weapon and the weight (where wrench is more heavy)

  • Lead Pipe

This stick is made for spamming, it deals moderate damage and can kill more than 1 zombie in a single hit (light attack). this weapon can be a subtitute for the hatchet with cost of damage, but lead pipe have longer range (where its effective for light attacks). (as a one handed melee, it is possible to use this weapon with maglite) (as a blunt weapon, Lead Pipe have high chance of knockback)

  • Spade

This stock soldier weapon can be considered USELESS, other than the fact its heavy, it also have low damage and use a tonne of stamina. But it have some positive sides, other than longer range, it also have same respawn area, which means this weapon can be a good last resort weapon.(as a two handed melee, it is not possible to use this weapon with maglite) (as a blunt weapon, Spade have high chance of knockback)

  • Crowbar

GORDON FREEMAN!!! This amazing weapon is a VERY VERY good spamming weapon! other than it uses less energy, it deals a ♥♥♥♥ ton of damage, it has long attack range! Light attack can kill a lot of zombie in one hit, the charged attack can kill zombie in 1 hit. The light attack can also 1 hit zombie. (as a one handed melee, it is possible to use this weapon with maglite) (as a sharp edged weapon, Crowbar have low chance of knockback)

  • Machete

Basiclly a reskin to crowbar, i do like the crowbar more, even if the crowbar is more heavy.

  • Chainsaw

This killing machine really deals a ♥♥♥♥ ton of damage when it goes to crazy mode (when its on). Kills zombie (almost) instantly, really spammy and really great for pushing. But it really make you REALLY dependent on melee (chainsaw), which can be a bad thing because it chew a lot of fuel and it deals more or less “fist” damage when idle. (as a two handed melee, it is not possible to use this weapon with maglite) (as a blunt weapon,Chainsaw have high chance of knockback)

  • Furbar

This thing is basicly a reskin to sledge hammer, but it chew a lot of stamina to attack and tons of time to attack.

  • E-Tool

This thing have pros and cons, on it alternate mode, it deal a tonne of damage with cost of range and less damage on light attacks and on it normal mode, it basiclly a spade.(as a two handed melee, it is not possible to use this weapon with maglite) (as a blunt weapon,E-Tool have high chance of knockback, except on the alternate version, which will be vice versa)

MELEE CONCLUSTION
  • It deals a ton of damage on close range
  • less ammo usage
  • sharpen your skill
  • decreases the “horror” of the game, since you bash the zombies with pleasure
  • Increases your dependency on melee (can be good and can be bad at the same time)
  • Increases chance of getting attacked (bitten, clawed,etc)
  • Increases chance of getting Friendly Fired
  • When alone, zombie could sneak up and chew your ass, because you can only focus on one task (your front)
  • when your teammate “clip” trough you, you could accidently hit him

Ranged

Tips

  • use melee more than ranged
  • some ranged weapon can be charged shot, dealing more damage (my expirience) To enter the “focus” you must hold your aim for ~5 seconds until the screen gets darker
  • If you don’t have to fight, don’t fight, risking a “pro” live costs too much in a game
