The secondary form of the Jeep is not much different, with the same appearance characteristics as the original. The difference is, is the game’s stationary, turret mounted, HMG is introduced to the rear of the body; replacing both the back left and right seats to conserve footspace and ammunition.
This reduces the total to 2 men and 1 gunner per Jeep.

Advantages & Disadvantages

With the Jeeps, comes a few advantages and disadvantages that play out over the battlefield. One of the most notable ones is the fact that the vehicle provides zero cover for troops fleeing from fire. However; with the lack of a roof, it provides a great opportunity to shoot at close range and not die since it gets increasingly hard to fire at a moving target. The original Jeep serves as a nimble form of transport, eliminating the exausting trip on foot and getting to another side of the map in just minutes or even seconds. But sometimes the trip isn’t exactly safe… All it takes for an enire squad wipe is a perfectly timed grenade, rocket, or another explosive projectile. The Jeep is an iconic form of weakness in the game, And isn’t used to ride directly into fire often. That’s where the MG Jeep comes into play. The efficient HMG (or 50. cal machine gun) mounted on the back can be devastating to enemies out in the open and driving around mobile enemies with the MGJ is also encouraged.

Facts

  • The original Jeep (From the previous betas) can not be found on any of the new maps, though it can be found in user-made Workshop maps
