Updated to 1.6.5 A simple guide for getting every achievement in the only bean based game better than Bean Battles, Redmatch 2!

The guide is not specifically in order of easiest to hardest
As of 1.6.5 chat and Barrelpocalypse are disabled so some of the achievements are locked. those achievements being: Jack of All Trades, Just a Flesh Wound, Trickshot, and Good Sport
I guess the generic “Like and favorite my guide!” is in order but I really don’t care.
Also shout-out to Rugbug for adding invert mouse after I harassed and bribed him for it. 😉
General Achievements
You can shoot through almost every surface in the game, just shoot another player who is taking cover behind a wall
Easiest on Siege
On the map Playground, follow the green path and you will find an arcade cabinet with a button on screen, interact and hit space to press the button. You can do it the Chad way or you can find a way to set up a macro.
You will eventually get this from playing, its very hard to do solo even when you are using two pcs and press the mice at the same time.
You get 1 upgrade point for every kill, just make sure you get at least 25 kills before a match ends.
(Buying upgrades takes away points, make sure you don’t spend what you can’t afford)
You will get this from playing normally.
Actually very hard to do privately as there doesn’t seem to be a consistent way to bring a player down to 1 HP.
I was unable to get this achievement when the damage modifier was changed to 0.25x. may be bugged or disabled for some reason.
Turn on Barrelpocalypse in the pre-game settings and choose a map with open air(I’d recommend Arena), stand far enough away from the barrel so it wont kill you and jump before it explodes to get launched into the air, then just hit the midair sniper shot for the achievement to pop.
If you don’t buy any health upgrades you can also earn Just a Flesh Wound
Enable Barrelpocalypse in the pre-game settings and make sure you get at least one kill with the barrel and every weapon before the game ends.
Almost impossible to get in a public lobby. I’d recommend getting a friend to help.
Once again I’d recommend playing on a small map like Pit with the timer set to one minute, then just kill a friend at least once before it ends.
Hop into a public lobby with 15+ players and convince people to/hope people pick village. Once the map is loaded the achievement will pop!
Can be done in a public lobby if you are good enough.
If you lack the skill you can start a private match with a friend, select a small map like Pit (I’d also recommend setting the time limit to 1 minute as an easy timer/ auto reset) then just spawn kill your buddy.
This one is mostly just luck but if you have 2 friends you can have them line up and the sniper will 1 shot kill them.
You just have to spend your kill points at any upgrade station (The red arcade cabinet), You must purchase every upgrade in a single match (minimum of 12 kills required)
Just enable Barrelpocalypse, make sure you dont upgrade health, and stand a reasonable distance away from a barrel when it explodes.
Possible to earn during Trickshot
The Interesting and Difficult ones
(Recommended you get another player to help with this)
Play on the map Ruins and stand around 75 ground block away from another player, then just start shooting.
Shots are completely random and it may take several matches to get a hit.
You will get this by just playing long enough, there is no way to tell what letters you have already gotten so its really just luck. Also please don’t go making a bunch of waste accounts for it, they clog up the servers and make extra work for Rugbug.
(Recommended you get another player to help with this)
Same as 1 in 7.5 Trillion just go on Ruins and stand far away from each other (100 block units) and hope they die?
In the match settings you can increase the damage multiplier to make the shotgun a 1 shot kill at any range.
in general this is actually way easier than 1 in 7.5 Trillion
You just have to find the developer (Rugbug) and kill him.
You’ll just have to hope he’s online at the same time as you. He might announce the next time he plays on the official Discord?
For this achievement you CAN look around, you just cant move.
Almost impossible unless you have a friend helping you.
Just play on a small map and set a short timer.
Just make sure to win 1 round on every single map.
You can set the match timer to 1 minute and kill an idle friend to speed up the process.
Secret and Broken Achievements
Press ENTER to chat and just say “GG” after a match, simple as that.
Start any match with Barrelpocalypse enabled in the settings then just shoot a barrel to blow yourself up!
Also unlocked if you complete the Война achievement
This achievement is broken, to get it you need to play the Browser Version[rugbugredfern.itch.io] and unlock it there, when you come back to steam the achievement will pop.
I’ve also heard upgrading speed sometimes works instead but I can’t prove that.
Junior Gamedev
On the level playground in the red building there is a white grid that changes when shot. all you have to do is shoot the squares in the correct order to spell the word Redmatch in binary

this will also unlock the You’ll Never Take Me Alive Achievement
Im sure if you’ve ever played Outskirts you’ve seen the code at the base of the clocktower.
Here I’ll explain the hints for the code.
Behind a desk in one of the buildings there is a note that says Clock tow3r
this is a password that you will be using on a computer hidden in the next building over.
Going through the door will reveal a terminal, interact with the terminal and type the password CLOCKTOW3R
You will receive the following text: when the clock tower strikes on the hour, let the light guide the way
What that ends up meaning is that when its a new hour in the hosts local time, the light above the missile will shut off and turn red, it will flash repeatedly and stop every so often. count the amount of times it blinks before each stop and that will be your unique code for the keypad. IT IS RANDOM EVERY TIME My light ended up blinking 2,9,8,3.
After finding out what your code is, run your butt to the keypad on the tower and type it in. you will immediately receive the achievement, a cut-scene will play of the rocket taking off and falling back down, everyone in the lobby will die earning the You’ll Never Take Me Alive Achievement, and the game will end.
Workplace Catastrophe
This one is very tricky, the mugs are hidden behind destructible walls and on separate levels, those being: Playground, Corridors, and Towers.
In the tunnels there is a crumbled wall that will break and reveal 5 mugs with a second crumbled wall in the back that has and extra one. (thanks to zacattak1379)
there is a hallway that has some crumbled wall, shoot it to reveal 3 mugs on a table
off the side of the blue tower is a platform, inside is 2 mugs underneath the connect 4 minigame.
You Are Worthy
To load into the Heaven map all you have to do is hold the left mouse button over the REDMATCH 2 logo until the animation finishes.
If you haven’t met the requirements the gate will read “YOU ARE NOT WORTHY”
You can’t do anything here except walk, falling off gives you the text YOU DARE DISRESPECT THE HEAVENS and the game closes.
To get passed the gate all you have to do is get every achievement (besides this one obviously).
If the monitor on the wall isn’t a bunch of random text from a hacker then your name will appear next to anyone else who has also gotten past the gate.
