PATCH UPDATED 04/14/2020This patch fixes certain online bugs in the game.All players in the session must have the patch in order for the disconnection fix to work correctly.

How to install
Click on “Download” located above
Once you have clicked the link, you will be taken to Google Drive.
You will first see a file named “RE5 Online Fixes”
within that folder, there are 4 files:
• Re5dx9.exe⠀• Launcher.exe⠀• maluc.dll⠀• nativePC_MT
⠀⠀• To download the files, click on the download button located on the top right.
⠀⠀• A small “preparing to download”
⠀⠀notification will pop out
⠀⠀•When installed, click on the download
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀↓
⠀⠀•The download will be opened by either WinRAR or 7zip (either is fine)
⠀⠀*If the file does not open, you need to download WinRAR, 7zip, or any other form of extraction*
⠀
⠀
⠀
⠀⠀•You will be met with a file named “RE5 NETWORK FIX”. Open the file and you will see this:

⠀⠀•After opening the patch file, we’re going to go to the location of Resident Evil 5’s main files so
⠀⠀ we can replace the files
⠀
⠀⠀•Open your Steam
⠀⠀Library
⠀⠀•Right Click on
⠀⠀Resident Evil 5 and
⠀⠀go to “Properties”
⠀⠀•Now that the properties tab has been opened,
⠀⠀ you will be met with this box here →
⠀⠀•Go to the “LOCAL FILES” tab
⠀⠀•Click on “BROWSE LOCAL FILES…”
⠀⠀•You will be sent here; Resident Evil 5’s main directory
⠀
⠀
⠀⠀•Now just drag and drop the files, click replace and you can run your game like usual
Known Issue
Certain parts of the game’s code had to be placed in a new section in the game’s code. Causes crashes for some people.

Apr. 14, 2020:
-Lighting bugs fixed
-Keyboard players laser position forced to correct position for more accurate shots in versus mode
-Infinite sign in the story mode item management fixed
-Re-did softlock fix code and corrected some display errors
-Code causing disconnections while players use cranks completely removed
Extra fix tweaks:
-Fov changed reverted back to original state
-Aim speed changed back to 1.40
Feb. 12, 2020:
-Added and optimized connection code.
-Red filter remains after pressing start button in title screen instead of disappearing.
Extra fix tweak
-Aim speed reduced from 1.40 to 1.00 for a more accurate aim.
