A visual guide to the Game Progression badges featured on Resident Evil.net
Badge Requirements
Syncronizing your game progression with the Capcom service on ResidentEvil.Net allows the users to track their progress and unlock Badges on the site. There are 36 Badges in all that, like achievements, track major events and progressions in the game.
Each of the badges featured corrisponds with 33 out of the 44 Steam achievements available within the game, Resident Evil/Biohazard HD Remaster.
It is worth noting that 4 of the Badges are rewarded for unlocking each of the alternative costumes within the game. Therefore these 4 Badges are linked to a single achievement, Passion For Fashion.
The required achievements are:
- You da Man, Chris – Finish the game using Chris.
- Alpha Team’s Finest – Finish the game using Jill.
- Like Taking Candy from a Baby – Finish the game on Very Easy difficulty or higher.
- Not in the Mood to Die – Finish the game on Easy difficulty or higher.
- Take that, Zombies! – Finish the game on Normal difficulty or higher.
- Oh, the Horror – Finish the game on Hard difficulty.
- The Survival Horror – Finish the game in Real Survival mode.
- Ghost of a Chance – Finish the game in Invisible Enemy mode.
- The Nightmare Ends – Finish the game saving Rebecca and Jill using Chris.
- I’m a Member of S.T.A.R.S. – Finish the game saving Chris and Barry using Jill.
- Every Man for Himself – Finish the game without saving anyone using Chris.
- Every Woman for Herself – Finish the game without saving anyone using Jill.
- Don’t Stop Running – Finish the game in three hours.
- Racing and Pacing – Finish the game in five hours.
- CQC FTW – Finish the game using only your knife (no lighter, Defensive Items, and stomping zombie heads).
- Ink is for Squids – Finish the game without saving.
- Every Nook and Cranny – Visit all places on all maps.
- Not Just Any Metal Object – Obtain the Stone & Metal Object using Chris.
- Written Word is Dead – Obtain the “Last Book Vol. 2” using Chris.
- The Key Master – Obtain the Helmet Key using Jill.
- Where the Magic Happens – Break into the laboratory using Jill.
- Bravo, Rebecca – Save Chris using Rebecca.
- What a Great Guy – Save Jill using Barry.
- Delaying the Inevitable – Save Richard with a serum.
- That Was Nice of You – Save Rebecca from a Hunter.
- Trust Him – Save Barry from Lisa Trevor.
- Sorry I Made You Wait – Save Jill from confinement using Chris.
- Sorry About the Wait – Save Chris from confinement using Jill.
- Not Taking Any Chances – Burn up a zombie.
- Not Waiting to Exhale – Survive your first encounter with Yawn.
- Get Used To It – Die for the first time.
- Break Out the Marshmallows! – Burn up two zombies at the same time with the lighter.
- Passion for Fashion – Obtain All Costumes. (Obtaining this achievement gives you 4 Badges in all, 1 for each costume unlocked.)
Badges Not Unlocking.
If you are in a position where you have completed the needed requirement for a badge but it has not unlocked on ResidentEvil.Net then you are not alone.
If this is the case it is possible that merely fullfilling the requirement again and saving/quitting to Re-Sync will correct this issue.
For example I unlocked the Steam achievement ‘Break Out the Marshmallows! – Burn up two zombies at the same time with the lighter.’ Yet the Badge remained locked.
To fix this I simply set two zombies on fire again, saved and quit. Upon Re-Sync the Badge became unlocked.
If this does not work I can only suggest waiting until a fix is made, as it is a known issue.
