查看显卡数量/Check Your Graphics Card(s)

知道自己电脑情况的可略过此步。
People who know your computer well can skip this section.

1.选中“此电脑”图标打开右键莱单，选择“管理(G)”。
1.Choose the icon “Computer” and open the right click menu. Then choose “Manage”.

2.如图，找到“设备管理器”中的“显示适配器”。如果“显示适配器”中有两个设备说明为双显卡，若只有一个设备则为单显卡。（图中为双显卡）
2.Find “Display adapters” in the menu “Device Manager” as is shown in the following picture. Two device in “Display adapters” means your PC has two graphics cards, otherwise it only has one. (The PC shown in the picture has two graphics card)

方案一：禁用一个显卡/Method 1: Disable One Graphics Card

选择一个显卡设备并禁用。
Choose one of the device and disable it.

注意：该方案产生副作用未知！
Attention: the side effect of this method is UNKNOWN!

方案二：Nvidia设置/Method 2: Nvidia Settings

1.打开Nvidia设置面板。可以通过控制面板或在任务栏右侧中找到Nvidia图标打开。
1.Open Nvidia Settings panel. You can open it from Control Panel or the right side of the taskbar.

2.在Nvidia设置左侧目录中，选择“管理3D设置”中的“程序设置”，点击“添加”按钮，如图所示。
2.As is shown in the picture, choose “Manage 3D settings” on the left side, then choose program settings below the sentence “I would like to use the following settings.” Press “Add” button.

3.点击“添加”按钮后会弹出如下窗口，如果在此界面中你可以找到相应的游戏应用程序，则直接选择“添加选定的程序”即可，如果没有，则选择“浏览”。
3.After you press “Add” button, you will see the following window appears. Find the specific game here and press “add selected program” button. If you can’t find it here, then choose “Browse…“.

4.在浏览中，找到游戏所在的目录，一般位于“…/steam/steamapps/common/Men of War Assault Squad 2/”中，找到游戏的.exe程序并选择。（游戏文件名后带有“_ed”的为游戏编辑器，注意区别）
4.When browsing, you need to know the exact place of the game. Normally the path is “…/steam/steamapps/common/Men of War Assault Squad 2/” Find the XXX.exe program and select it. (Attention: the program “XXX_ed.exe” is the game editor.)

5.成功选定后，可见游戏文件名显示在“添加”键左侧。在下方“为此程序选择首选图形处理器”一栏将“使用全局设置”改成“高性能Nvidia处理器”，最后确认更改。
5.When you successfully selected it, you can see the name of that game displaying on the left side of “Add” button. Looking downward, change “Use global setting” into “High-performance Nvidia processor” in the second section “Select the preferred graphics processor for this program.” Finally, confirm the changes.

P.S.

我对许多游戏都做了如上修改，在上述操作中只要“战争之人：突击小队2”替换成其他游戏即可。对我而言，这个改动可以修正包括“Theater of war”（无法打开游戏）、“战争之人：突击小队”（美军战役：菲律宾防御战的强制退出）等的“Runtime Error”。似乎所有1C公司游戏只能使用单个显卡，原因不明。

I did such a change among a lot of games. It can be done as long as you replace “Men of War: Assault Squad 2” with other games and do the same things as mentioned above. For me, such a change can fix the “Runtime Error” issue in the games including “Theater of war” (Unable to launch the game), “Men of War: Assault Squad” (Force quit during “USA Skirmish: The Philippines Defence”). It seems many 1C Company‘s games can only run stably when there’s only one graphics card. The reason for this is not clear.
