Overview
You can find here a build order and a video gameplay explaining what should you do and why should you do it. The guide fits to every beginners but also for medium players.
German Build for Beginners
►Build order:
A variety of conscripts and T2 units :
Examples:
MG – Conscript – MG
MG – Mortar – Conscript
Mortar – Conscript – Mortar
(Optional molotow & research heal station in HQ or another unit, most likely a conscript)
►Minute 4:00-4:30
Divisional Fieldgun
►Minute 7:00
T3 – Building and Halftrack
( Depending on which commander you chose you may want to begin building a T34 , e.g. with Soviet Industry, or you want to build a second Divisional Fieldgun and research AT grenades
and wait for: IS2, ISU152 or T34/85 )
★Commanders that I recommend:
►Urban defence tactics
– Instead of a halftrack you wanna build forward HQ´s (very effective on maps with a lot of building like city 17 or Lienne Forest);
– Vulnerable against Stuka and other arty. You want to make at least 2 foward HQ´s (one that ist very aggressive and close to the enemys and later on you should make one hidden, a bit in the back).
►Guard Motor Coordination tactics
-As a 4th Unit you can get a 120mm Mortar or Guard rifle Men;
-You build a second AT gun;
-You use the T34/85 to do short attacks by driving in and out quickly and support the Infantry;
-Together with guard rifle, you are able to take out vehicles like Tigers by stunning them and driving behind them.
►Soviet Industry tactics.
-You won’t build a 4th unit but rather build some fuel OP´s in order to save manpower;
-You will build a very early T3 and begin to spam tanks;
-As the first tank appears you should have at least 1 repair station built;
-Later you want to expand the amount of the repair stations;
-Don’t build the KW2 it’s useless.
These three tactics combined are very efficient ( Foward HQ´s, repair stations , T34/85´s ).
