Happy Family

  1. Walk right and then keep on walking right
  2. Walk right sommore and then enter the ambulance

The Plumbing

  1. Enter the bathroom to the left and interact with the toilet
  2. Head right and talk to the pony
  3. Walk up the ladder to the left
  4. Head up the next ladder and flip the switch there
    • there is one ‘lever’ on this switch, so it must be flipped first
  5. Head up another ladder and flip the switch there
    • there are two ‘levers’ on this switch
  6. Return to the first pipe and flip the switch there
    • there are three ‘levers’ on this switch
  7. Exit the pipes and continue across the pony
  8. Leave via the bathroom
  9. Leave the apartment and keep walking left

The Treehouse

  1. Follow Larry into the treehouse
  2. Interact with the picture on the shelves
    • In Seeking Providence (1/10)
  3. Interact with the chest
    • If you want to explore the (very few) contents of the chest, do so before taking the puzzle box
  4. Take the puzzle box

Hello, Neighbors

  1. Talk to Larry and ask about his mom

  2. Head up to apartment 504
  3. Go into the bathroom
  4. Head back down to the basement
  5. Talk to Larry and ask him where Todd lives

DIY Supernatural Sensor

  1. Go to 202
  2. Return to the basement
  3. Interact with the antenna from the police scanner in Larry’s room
  4. Return to 202 and talk to Todd
  5. Give the antenna for reception and walkie talkie for the power
  6. Test out the Super Gear Boy in Todd’s bathroom
    • unlocks Ch 3 of the Gear Boy game
    • In Seeking Providence: (2/10)

NOTE: Now, you can start playing the Gear Boy game chapters. You will unlock more chapters of the game as you progress (part of the In Seeking Providence achievement). When played in order, the game tells a complete story. In other words, feel free to start playing whichever chapters you unlock, but I would recommend playing the entire game in order after finding all of the chapters.

  5. Exit the treehouse and return to Larry’s room
  6. Go into Larry’s kitchen and activate the Super Gear Boy
    • unlocks Ch 6 of the Gear Boy game

  1. Go to room 102
  2. Talk to Miss Rosenberg using all conversation options

  4. Go up to room 202 and speak to Todd in his room

  1. Go to 302 and ask David about the crowbar
  2. Go next door to 301
    • the goal is to make this party quiet, so choose activities accordingly
  3. Talk to Sierra to the right
  4. Choose chess tournament
  5. Go left to talk to CJ
  6. Choose classical music station (89.3)
  7. Go left and talk to Azaria
  8. Choose Telephone
  9. Return to 302 and ask David about the crowbar again

B4 B&E

  1. Interact with 302 again and ask to go into David’s apartment
  2. Interact with the little spherical dial near the door
    • The Box: (1/3)
  3. Unlock the box:

    • Play Ch 2 in the Super Gear Boy game
    • The symbol on each room of the game is the key to opening the box
    • Examine the puzzle box and enter each symbol into the correct side
    • Hit ‘open’ and you should see a computer chip

  4. Go down to the basement
  5. Tell Larry about the box and the crowbar

  6. Go to 202 and tell Todd about the box
    • How to read the text after the whiteout:The text can be read backwards
  7. Talk to Todd again

  1. Go to the 4th floor
  2. Use the crowbar to break into 403
  3. Activate the Super Gear Boy inside 403
    • unlocks Ch 8 of the Super Gear Boy game

Next Level

  1. Go to the 5th floor and enter 504
  2. Use the crowbar to get into the bedroom
  3. Activate the Super Gear Boy by the mattress
    • unlocks Ch 4 of the Super Gear Boy game
    • In Seeking Providence: (8/10)

NOTE: You do not have Chapter 7 of the game yet, but now is the best time to play the Super Gear Boy game all the way through, since playing Chapter 7 triggers a point of no return

Would You Like to Play a Game?

  1. Chapter 1
    • Guide Rose through the flaming maze
    • Rose slides (she will move slightly just after you stop controlling her), so use fast taps to control her rather than holding down ‘w’ or the control stick
    • Grab the book at the end of the maze and go through the door
  2. Chapter 2
    • Guide Jim through the rooms
    • Like Rose, Jim slides, so control him with fast taps
    1. Room 1:
      • The switch to unlock the exit is along the left fork
      • Use the right fork to exit the room after unlocking it
    2. Room 2:
      • The switch to unlock the exit is along the path directly to the right
      • The exit is along the path up and to the right
    3. Room 3:
      • The switch is along the path up, up, to the left, and to the left
      • Hit the electric fences to go back to the beginning after flipping the switch
      • The exit is to the left and then up
    4. Room 4: Go up and use the key
  3. Chapter 3
    • Head up and enter the church
    • Talk to the bouncer-guy and then go into the right entrance
    • Use the sounds of crying to choose the next entrances
      1. Up
      2. Right
      3. Down
      4. Right
    • Talk to the woman
  4. Chapter 4
    • Help Stacy cut the power lines
    • Each power box is on the other side of the room
    • Return to the elevator to get to the next floor down
    • Stacy slides even more than the others, but she requires less finesse anyway
    • Getting hit by a hooded cultist puts Stacy back on the 5th floor
    • For me, it worked best to move Stacy up and down only, pausing when a hooded cultist got too close, and only move side to side if necessary
    • After cutting the basement power, go into the right hand door
  5. Chapter 5
    • Lead Megan out of the woods
    • Go the directions without rocks
      1. Down
      2. Left
      3. Down
      4. Right
  6. Chapter 6
    • Find the skulls in the maze
    • The cultist slides, so use quick taps to lead her through the maze
    • The top half of her body can overlap the fire without hurting her
      1. Lead the cultist straight upwards (dodging the fire) to get the first skull
      2. Go down until the cultist reaches a fork and then follow the left path down to get the next skull
      3. Smack into the fire to return to the pentagram
      4. Go right and then up to get the last skull
  7. Chapter 8
    • Grab the evidence (the book) and return
    • Have Sandy dash as fast as she can and just dodge, dodge, dodge

B&E (cont.)

  1. Crawl through the creepy hole on the left
  2. Activate the Super Gear Boy by the noose
    • unlocks Ch 7 of the Super Gear Boy game
    • In Seeking Providence: (9/10)
  3. Play through chapter 7
    • Luke does some SERIOUS sliding, so barely tap the controls to move him
    • The first switch is on the top right
    • The second room switch is on the top left
    • The third room switch is on the bottom left (follow the path)
    • Walk into the fire
    • In Seeking Providence: (10/10)

Epilogue

  1. Enter the treehouse
  2. Examine the boxes, picture, shelves, and floor
