Overview

This guide is a bit late, but it’s here. It includes all achievements and secrets

Prologue

NOTE: I put most of the puzzle answers and hints in spoiler tags if you want to see the hint without the full answer

The Scary Door

  • Just like when the swirling ball of energy face appeared last episode, it speaks backwards
  • This puzzle has a couple hints for you
    • In the picture above, notice the order of heights: top, bottom, top, middle
    • That is the correct order to put the shapes in
    • Also look at the bars/shapes: 1 bar/hexagon, 2 bars/square, 1 bar/trapezoid, 3 bars/triangle
    • This also tells you how to put the shapes: hexagon/top/1 bar, triangle/bottom/3 bars, hexagon/top/1 bar, square/middle/2 bars
    • The first lever lowers the shape and the second lever raises it

Tips:

  • The puzzles are fast-paced, but you are free to pause whenever
  • Don’t panic because the camera monster really isn’t that fast
  • Making a mistake wastes more time than pausing and making sure you solve the puzzle right
  • There is an autosave after the panels/shapes so you can always exit to main menu and restart the puzzles if you mess up

Result: This unlocks the white door

  • Premonition (1/2)

Swirls

  • Through the door, the swirling ball of energy face speaks to you in numbers
  • The first text box gives you numbers and blanks while the second box fills in the blanks
    • ie, merge the numbers of the two text boxes and you’ll get the full message:
      • 9687 96753 47 663 63 6269
    • Using number-to-text format from the buttons of a phone, it spells the message:
      • This world is one of many

Telephone

  1. To solve this puzzle, you must put in the numbers
  2. The sets are in reverse order and the last set is to the right of Sally
  3. Head right, choose the numbers 6269
  4. Go left and then choose the numbers 63
  5. Go left and choose 663
  6. Go left and choose 47
  7. Go left and choose 96753
  8. Go left and choose 9687
  9. Keep going left to grab the book

Result: You will now start out with the book in your inventory that you can read

School

Mr Dood El

  • Not too much to guide here. Just walk and talk.

Health Inspectors

  1. Talk to Kim
  2. Go into the hall
  3. Enter Mrs Packerton’s classroom (room 104)
    1. Pick up the paperclip on the floor to the right
  4. Return to the hall
  5. Keep going right and enter hall 2 and into the Science Lab (room 201)
    1. Pick up the sticky tack on the left
      • NOTE: You can give Ash the sticky tack to open the door, but don’t. That will prevent you from getting the Clumpy achievement
      • Clumpy (1/8)
    2. Talk to Todd

Bribery 101

  1. Go into the courtyard at the far left of the school
    1. Interact with the tree on the left until the tennis ball falls
    2. Pick up the tennis ball
    3. Go to the window and throw the tennis ball from the inventory screen
  2. Return to the hall
    1. Talk to Larry
    2. Interact with the lockers to the right
    3. Choose ‘lockers’ and pick Ash’s locker
    4. Take Ash’s camera
    5. Talk to Larry again
  3. Go to the courtyard
    1. Throw the ball again
    2. Talk to Larry back inside
  4. Return to the courtyard
    1. Go to the tree on the far right and use the camera from the inventory screen
    2. Find the bird on the top right and snap a picture
      • Your hint is that Kim likes to feed the birds
  5. Go to the cafeteria
    1. Talk to Kim to give her the bird picture

Just a Sec…

  1. Head into the boy’s room by the cafeteria
  2. Pick up the note by the trash can
  3. Talk to the person in the third stall
    1. Choose option three

Bad Student

  1. Interact with Mrs Packerton’s desk

    • Your hint isthe numbers of pi above the blackboard
  3. Take the strange metal object

Home Sweet Home

NOTE: Meeting up in Todd’s room is the point of no return

Side Stuff

  1. Head right to the mailbox and interact with it

  2. Go to Sal’s place (402) and grab the Gearboy and tea cup from his room
    • Clumpy (2/8)
  3. Head to dad’s room and interact with the computer
    • Password is491145
    • Explanation:Diane in numbers, ie D = 4th letter of alphabet and so on
    • The hint isthat the note on the picture under the bed should jog your memory
  4. Pick up the letter by the bed

Now that we have the Gearboy…

  1. Go into 501 and use the the Gearboy
  2. Pick up the letter

  3. Go up to 504 and into the bathroom
  4. Use the Gearboy
  5. Go into 403 and use the Gearboy
  6. Pick up the letter
    • Missing Pages (6/11)
  7. Head to 401 and talk to Rob
  8. Interact with his poster using that sticky tack you hopefully didn’t give away
    • Clumpy (3/8)
  9. Go into 304 and use the Gearboy
  10. Grab the letter
    • Missing Pages (7/11)
  11. Talk to Chug outside 303 and ask if there’s anything you can do
    • Clumpy (4/8)
  12. Go to 102 and to talk to Rose
  13. Use the Gearboy and get your letter
    • Missing Pages (8/11)

  1. Talk to Addison in 101 and get some tea
    • Clumpy (5/8)
  2. Trek up to 202 and talk to Todd’s mom on the couch
    • Clumpy (6/8)
  3. Go to 303 and hand over the candy

  4. Head to the basement
  5. Check out the gift in front of Lisa’s room
  6. Talk to Lisa in the kitchen
  7. Talk to Lisa again
  8. Go to the basement and into Larry’s room
  9. Interact with the blank canvas

  10. Interact with the TV and get 1000 points
    • Clumpy (8/8)
    • The basics of the game: kill the flies. Your recharge bar is in the top left, and it tells you when you can attack again. Focus on the red and green flies.
  11. Head to 202 and go to Todd’s room to continue the main story

Aaaaanyway

  1. Head up to 202 and talk to Todd in his room
  2. Interact with things in Packerton’s room
  3. Talk to Larry, then move around a bit
  4. Check out that fridge
  5. Use the Gear Boy at the blood splatter by the fridge
  6. Interact with the radio
  7. Change the station to104.7
    • Your hint isthe ear tag on the goat’s head
  8. Interact with the clock and change the time to12:12
    • Your hint isthe number of ‘Ba’s the ghost goat made
  9. Go into bedroom 1
  10. Use the Gear Boy by Mr. Packerton
  11. Pull the plug.
  12. Go into bedroom 2
  13. Interact with the freezer
    • The combination is:I-IV-I-III
    • Your hint isthe bloodstains beside the combo lock compared to the Morse code paper on the wall

Whiteout

  • Remember Sal’s whiteout back in Packerton’s classroom? Maybe? Well, this is the second half of it
  • Align the messages on top of one another so the letters fill in each other’s blanks. ie, whiteout two gives you the missing letters in whiteout one and vice versa
  • The message is also backwards
  • Message: You are unique. You are not like the others. You must unbind yourself from this world, Sal.

Cult

  1. Go into bedroom 2 and interact with the torn carpet to the right
  2. Use the Gear Boy on the light to the right
  3. Talk to Todd
  4. Head far left and pick up the light bulb
  5. Use the light bulb from your inventory at the lamp nearest to where you found the bulb
  6. Use the Gear Boy
  7. Go far to the right, past Todd, and keep walking
  8. Check out that chest
    • Missing Pages (9/11)
  9. Go back left
  10. Pull the right lever, then the left one twice
  11. Step on the button

Larry Boy

  1. Head through the maze using the scary wind noises as your guide
    • Right door, middle door, left door, then walk left
  2. Now we have to make sure all the buttons are pressed to continue. Unfortunately, it’s a puzzle…

    • Left to right: step on buttons 5, 4, 3, 4, 3, 2, 3, 2, 1

  3. After solving the button puzzle, pull the lever
  4. Walk right and exit the third door

Back to Sally

  1. Head through the maze using the silence as your guide
    • Middle door, left door, right door
  2. Just walk right and step on the ominous button in the next room and pull the lever
  3. Head back left
  4. Exit through the left door
  5. Another button puzzle…

    • NOTE: I don’t know if this is the most efficient way to solve the puzzle, but it works
    • Step on buttons 2, 3, 4, 3, 4, 5
    • Step on buttons 4, 3, 2, 4, 3, 4
    • Step on buttons 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 3
    • Step on buttons 4, 3, 4, 5, 4, 3
    • Step on buttons 2, 4, 3, 3, 4, 5
    • Step on buttons 4, 3, 2, 3, 2, 1
    • Step on buttons 3, 4, 3, 4, 3, 4
    • Step on buttons 3, 4, 5, 4, 3, 4

  1. Keeeep walking right, across all the buttons, and go through that door
  2. Use the Gear Boy on the lights and talk to the guy

  4. Go through the door and pull the lever
  5. Inspect the floor stick
  6. Head right and get that final letter!
