Guide for all of the squirrel collectibles in the base game of Trials Rising.

This guide will have screenshots, steps and a general difficulty about how to get each collectible. This difficulty is only for the collectible, not the track. Side note, I am using the keyboard through-out this entire play through, so it is possible things will be easier for you on controller. If you have a video that you would like me to add, let me know by posting it below with the level name.
NOTE: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE ON YOUR BIKE TO GET A COLLECTIBLE! As long as your player touches it, you will be fine. After getting it, you do NOT need to finish the track.

Braking Bad
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- Get to checkpoint six
- Go in reverse
- Squirrel!
Happy Camper
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- Get to checkpoint nine
- Jump the first gap
- Go up the ramp
- Once at the top, go in reverse while leaning forward back down the ramp
- Squirrel!
Hard Hat Zone
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- At the very beginning
- Go down onto the hill below slowly
- Go in reverse
- Squirrel!
Lumbering On
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- Get to checkpoint eight
- Go forward to the roof and stop before the train
- Head off very slowly on the the track below
- Go in reverse
- Squirrel!
Yellowstone Caldera
Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
- Head to checkpoint seven
- Get to the bottom of the ramp, but don’t jump it
- Lean off the edge and fall to the ramp below
- Go full power and lean forward into the geyser
- Try and get close enough to bail into the basket of the hot air balloon
- Squirrel!
Canyon Crash
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- At the very beginning
- Wait until the timer reaches 25 seconds
- An eagle will be flying in front of you
- Time the jump (suggest sitting where I am and the hitting the gas at 28 seconds)
- Squirrel!
Lights, Camera, Action!

- Get to checkpoint seven
- Go forward to the ramp up
- Drop into the gap of the ramp
- Drive through the door
- Complete the little track
- Squirrel!
Mix and the City
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- Head to checkpoint seven
- Drive the track until you reach the road
- Drop down onto the road
- Avoid the cars until you see a van
- Drive in front of the van
- Squirrel!
Lynx World
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- Head to checkpoint fifteen
- Get up to the platform that launches you
- Bail off your bike right when it launches
- Get underneath it
- Squirrel!
El Tomate

- Head to checkpoint twelve
- Go in reverse
- Make sure to land on the broken floor
- Squirrel!
True Scotsman
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- Head to checkpoint four
- Go down the first ramp
- Stop on the edge of the second
- Fall down onto the track below
- Go in reverse
- Squirrel!
Tilting At Windmills
Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
- Head to checkpoint four
- Go on the windmill
- Go forward on the windmill until at the edge of the ramp
- Let it take you to the top
- Squirrel!
Medieval Flair
Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
- At the very beginning
- Go forward
- Hang on the edge of the ramp
- Carefully drop down onto the bridge
- Go in reverse
- Squirrel!
Below Bucharest
Difficulty: ★★★★☆
- Head to checkpoint eight
- Get as much speed as you can down the small ramp in front of you
- Get as much air as you can and lean forward
- Bail at the height of your jump
- Hold up/right and hope you make it into the slide without a bug occurring
- Squirrel!
The Flying Finn
Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
- Head to checkpoint one
- Go down the hill backwards
- Once back at the start, bail backwards
- Make sure to get over the first stones
- Squirrel!
Nyet Problem
Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
- Head to checkpoint one
- Head onto the missle marked with an ‘X’ and
light yourself on fire - At this point, you will have to restart the track
if you fail - Go forward along the track to checkpoint five
while still on fire - Drop into the pipe marked with an ‘X’
- Squirrel!
Grave of Giants
Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
- Get to checkpoint six
- Go full speed up the ramp and bail straight up
- Grab the wrecking ball above the pipe
- Hang onto it on the way down
- Follow the wind path up and to the right
- Enter the pipe at the end
- Squirrel!
Thousand-Cloud Village
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- Get to checkpoint thirteen
- Drive to the bell
- Bail underneath it and grab the clapper of the bell
(the ball thing. I had to google what it was called :/ ) - Lean back and forth to ring it three times
- Complete the track like normal
- Squirrel!
Balloons Over Bagan
Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
- Get to checkpoint one
- Land in the basket of the hot air balloon
- Stay in it until it stops
- If you miss the jump, you will need to restart the track
- Squirrel!
Beach Bum
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- At the very beginning
- Bail backwards over the wall
- Will need to crawl to it Trials style
(hit brake then gas then brake then gas etc.) - Squirrel!
Ship It!
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- Get to checkpoint six
- Drive on the the shipping crate that rises up
- Either drive off it forwards or backwards
- Underneath where it was, there is a switch
- After activating the switch, the crate next to this spot will be open
- Squirrel!
Chinese Cliffs
Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
- Head to checkpoint seven
- Drive forward to the fire
- Catch your front wheel on fire (don’t worry, it won’t crash you)
- Go in reverse to the cliff edge
- The fire will light a fuse and open the cliff side
- Drop to the rock down below
- Squirrel!
Wheels of Steel
Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
- Head to checkpoint eleven
- Bail at the top of the ramp
- Hold up/right
- Grab onto the hook in the distance
- Hang onto it as you go up
- Swing from hook to hook
- Squirrel!
Spirit of the Mountain
Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
- Head to checkpoint five
- Get in front of the rolling boulder
- Stay low on the ramp to land under the usual path
- Drive into the water
- Gas will boost you in a direction while under
water - Get to the end through the mines
- Make sure to land with wheels down after the launch
- Squirrel!
A Pretty Good Wall
Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
- There are three pressure plates that you need to press through-out this track
- Once you push them, they stay that way unless you restart the whole track
- The first plate is at checkpoint two
- Drive forward up the ramp
- Go in reverse off the track
- The second plate is at checkpoint five
- Drive off the ramp
- Bail backwards off the bike to the top of the lower ramp
- The third plate is at checkpoint twelve
- Drive in reverse off the cliff slowly
- Keep going until you reach the plate’s ledge
- Now continue the track to the end
- Bail just before crossing the finish line
- Keep going past everything to the house in the back
- Squirrel!
Vietnam Vaults
Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
- Get to checkpoint three
- Drive forward until the rock falls
- Wait for an explosion behind you
- Go in reverse down the hole
- Continue this path without hitting
a barrel - Squirrel!
Angkor What?
Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
- Get to checkpoint thirteen
- Drive up the ramp and bail backwards
- Hold up/left and hope you make it
- Squirrel!
Siberian Express
Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
- Get to checkpoint thirteen
- Bail just before the finish line
- Make it between the two shipping crates
- Keep going as far as you can
- Squirrel!
Siberian Skies

- At the very beginning
- Back up and hit the button
- Continue along the track without faulting
- Drop into the hatch that is open after checkpoint four
- Squirrel!
Firebase Faceplant

- Get to checkpoint eight
- Go in reverse

Ruined Run

- Get to checkpoint five
- Trigger the elevator
- Backup off of it
- Drop into the hole below where it was

One Man’s Trash

- Get to checkpoint eleven
- Go up the hill
- Bail into where the arrow is pointing
- Play some Plinko!
- Squirrel!
Pripyat
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- Get to checkpoint ten
- Go up the ramp
- After the building collapses, go in reverse
- Land on the i-beam down below
- Continue ahead
- Squirrel!
Finnish Flash
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- Get to checkpoint eleven
- Go up the elevator
- Back up onto platform behind you while going
up - Keep going in reverse
- Land on the target down below on the ice
- Squirrel!
Bucharest Breakdown

- Get to checkpoint eight
- Go forward off the platform
- Go in reverse to get under the platform
- Squirrel!
Greek Grapes
Difficulty: ★★★★☆
- Make sure you have plenty of time for this one
(took me 30+ minutes my first time through) - Get to checkpoint four
- Go over the top of the well
- Back up and drop into the well
- Get lower by grabbing onto the wall and pulling yourself down
- Once low enough, go right
- Continue down and go right again
- Continue down until you can go left
- Go down some more
- Squirrel!
Moto Gladiators
Difficulty: ★★★★★★
- Can only be obtained after getting ALL OTHER collectibles
- Get to checkpoint five
- Go onto the teeter-totter
- Go backwards off of it, under the ramp you used to get on it
- Take the elevator down
- Sit on the circular slab and wait for it to open
- Do the track down here
- Get to the door
- LXI (61) SQUIRRELS NEEDED?! WELL CRAP!
- Once you have all other 61 squirrels, the door
will open - When you enter you will drop into a room with another drop down and four pillars
- Three images will appear in the back
- As of this current release, you MUST have a controller for this point
- I literally ordered a $15 controller from Amazon just to be able to do this part
- In three previous tracks (Rally of the Kings, Temple of Trials, Stonehenge) there was an arrow code hidden in the secret area
- Enter directions in this order:

- The floor beneath you will now open
- You will face a few challenges to get to the final squirrel

- Land on the platform below

Go forward off the front edge to the ramp below

Go backwards through the railing to the ground below - Activate the pressure plate
- Continue through the track to checkpoint seven
- Go in reverse into the opening
- Be sure to turn up your brightness
- Go along this cave path to the end

Rally of the Kings

- Get to checkpoint twelve
- Go in reverse and activate the pressure plate
- Go through the track like normal until you reach checkpoint fifteen
- Land on the hanging rock
- Get on the very front of it then go backwards
- Drop into the hole
- The water will rise here so you are timed
- Get through the water section to the main vault
- Squirrel!
Shanghai Scrapers

- At the very beginning
- Go in reverse through the barricades
- Get decent air from the fan and bail into the dumpster
- Squirrel!
Seoul Searching
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
- At the very beginning
- Go in reverse
- Bail off the edge into the closed door
- Squirrel!
Ski Or Don’t
Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
- Get to checkpoint one
- Go in reverse to hit the switch
- Continue the track like normal until checkpoint six
- Go in reverse to the top of the ramp behind you to get more speed
- Floor it up the hill
- Bail at the top with momentum to carry you onto the chair lift seat

Venice Beach 1080

- Must have the Helium bike for this one
- At the very beginning
- Go forward to the first ramp
- Go in reverse under the starting platform
- Run into the wall with a picture of the helium bike on it
- Continue in reverse once its knocked over

Temple of Trials

- At the very beginning
- Drop between the two barrels at the start
- Activate the squirrel switch
- With out failing, get to checkpoint two
then go in reverse - Continue into the open hole
- Complete the obstacles

- I spent over 600 attempts on this one 🙁
- Get to checkpoint seven
- Go in reverse a bit to give yourself more room to speed up
- Go forward
- Do a wheelie at the end of the platform and bail
- Hold up/right and PRAY you grab the chain
- Hold on for your life
- Once close to the tower, let go
- PRAY you timed it right and land where you want

Red Steel

- Go forward up the ramp
- Trigger the explosion
- Go backwards to where the ramp was

- Lean and bail backwards
- Either hit or grab the vent covering
- Once interacted with, respawn at checkpoint thirteen

The End
Whew! Its over. In the end, what you get is
the full squirrel set, seen on the right.
You also get a crap ton of acorns from getting
every one of these collectibles.
I enjoyed every moment of playing through
this game and looking for secrets (well other
than Chinese Gauntlet) and I can’t wait to
see what secret will be in the coming
expansion tracks.
