Set Bonus
Set Bonus is multiplier applied to positive armor stats when your hero wears a full set of a single material (Leather, Mail, Chain, Plate and Pristine). The multiplier is based on that armor piece's quality. This allows your armor to reach very high stat totals
Armor Quality / Level Requirement / Set Bonus / Stat Upgrade Cap (w/ Set Bonus)
Cursed / 0 / 25% / 360 (450)
Torn / 0 / 25% / 360 (450)
Worn / 3 / 25% / 360 (450)
Stocky / 6 / 25% / 360 (450)
Solid / 8 / 25% / 360 (450)
Sturdy / 10 / 25% / 360 (450)
Polished / 12 / 25% / 360 (450)

Mythical / 74 / 30% / 360 (468)

Void / 100 / 45% / 1099 (1593)
Damage Reduction Quality
Armor might have a second quality in its name which effects how many out of the four damage resistances it has and how many of them roll negative. As a base, all armor must have at least 1% reduction to generic damage, and around a net 0% elemental resistance/weakness. The damage reduction quality of an armor piece can offset this balance.
Prefix / Multiplier / Notes
Unlucky / -1000 / Unlucky armor frequently has 1 elemental weakness, or in some cases, 1 resistance and 2 weaknesses.
none / 0 / Armor with this damage reduction quality has no second prefix. Such armor typically has either no elemental qualities, or 1 resistance balanced by 1 weakness.
Lucky / 1 / Lucky armor has either 1 elemental resistance, or 2 resistances and 1 weakness to balance.
Blessed / 2 / Blessed armor has 2 elemental resistances and no weakness.
Enchanted / 3 / The highest damage reduction quality, enchanted armor has resistances to all 3 elements.
Enchanted armor has a higher negative threshold (1) than the others (0.93), making it almost always a superior choice.
Armor items have 1-2 adjectives before the material in their name. The first word is always the base quality which determines its overall value and hero level requirement to equip and how high a single stat bonus can be upgraded to. The second adjective (if present) describes the number of resistances the armor piece has and how many of them are positive and negative, prior to upgrades. "Unlucky" is lowest, while "Enchanted" is the highest resistance quality.
