This guide will show you how to host your own Allied Nations server if you have a properly public or port forwarded IP address.
Introduction
Welcome to the Allied Nations server hosting guide.
In this guide I will guide you step by step on how to setup your own Allied Nations server.
Requirements
- 1.A publicly accessible IP address [link]
- 2.Port 30301 open in your firewall. [link]
- 3.10 Minutes of your time.
Install Host Files
1.First you must install the games hosting files to your pc to a location of your choosing. To do this first launch the game and inside the inital launcher find the button labled Host.

2.A dialouge will be displayed asking you where you wish to intall the server files.

3.Inside this dialouge name your server replacing the name ‘New Server’ with the name of your choice then press the browse button to select a directory to install the server files to.

4.Once you have selected a folder to install the server files in press the OK button to exit this window.

5.Now just press ok in the previous window and the server files will be installed.
Configuration
1.Go to the directory where you installed the host files.
2.Go into the folder called Config.
3.Inside here you can open the file called Admins.txt to configure your admins.
4..Once this is open you can add a new line for their byond usernames which they create via the launcher in this format ‘USERNAME = ADMINLEVEL’ The admin level can range from 1-5 with 5 being the highest level.
