Overview
This guide shows you how to set the game to play in an older version. It is useful in cases when new major update is released and saves may become incompatible. This way players have chance to finish the game with older saves, and start new game with major update once they feel like it.
Setting older version of the game
Even thought we try to keep consistency of saves, it may happen that when a major updated is released, older saves wont work. We are really sorry for this, and will always try to our best to avoid this. The issues are often caused by big changes in the structure of features that may behave differently, and loading an old save would cause a lot of bugs and errors.
To partially solve this issue, an older version of game will be always available to players. This way players have chance to finish the game with older saves, and start new game with major update once they feel like it.

If the game version wont switch but you know the game is set correctly, try restarting the Steam client. That should enforce the game file update and get the correct game version.
