FORCED SHOWDOWN Guide

Settsu - R3-KT Wrecking for FORCED SHOWDOWN

Settsu – R3-KT Wrecking

Overview

A simple Deck i didn’t expect to be as good as it was, that helped me not only beat the Mentor’s Maze, but do so with multiple achievements along the way.

Intro

So after unlocking a few of Settsu’s cards, the main one being the one that dismantles a card for more of his upgrade, i figured i’d throw a deck together and confront the Mentor’s Maze and see how it went. The run was hard. I got bad arenas that kept trying to screw me over but played well enough to not only beat the Mentor’s maze, but did it in 9 arenas.

The Deck

This deck is nothing spectacular by any means and after winning 2k Gold from beating the arena, i got some better ones but it did the job, got me 7 achievements.

The idea behind the deck is to get your good upgrades, and get them fast. These are the Desperate for kills, shotgun, and other Settsu upgrades, using Health incase you need it.

It has no consumables so be very wary of the UPGRADE SPELLS buff, since that can seriously screw you over. Try n pick up pure damage buffs and +3 hp on card played if offered to you. I only gained 2 supremes in my run, the thorns being the lackluster option however the bloodthirstyness nature of the other granting more damage for 4 seconds made up for it.

Juices of Growth is great for boss fights and legendary awareness for arenas where you get swarmed easily. Use jetpacks to either finish a fight or get out of one, never to ENGAGE a fight.

Gameplay Tactics

Keep moving and have a steady aim. Use your plama ball before you use the final bullet in your gun for a garenteed burst of damage that can double as a knockdown whilst you reload. Using jetpack with missles and the attraction can easily destroy weak foes like scrits and was Vital in beating the Mentor since his clones like to circle in on you but combined with the max damage juices, its a quick method of finishing them off.

Desperate for kills should be used ASAP and never discarded. Its a great way to sustain damage and if combined with blood pact early on, easily makes up for what is lost. The key in this arena is to dodge rather than tank.

The Mentor himself likes to play this game too, dodging behind you and shooting, a pain for melee fighters but plays into Settsu. Keeping track of him is fairly easy and you are more than equipped to dodge his attacks whilst hitting him with your own. Getting to him and surviving the Minions is way harder than the fight itself.

Achievements

All together i got 7 achievements whilst playing this one arena run. These included multiple for beating the maze AND the destroying multiple plama balls at once, landing on foes with a jetpack and killing with the plasma bullet.

Feedback Welcomed

This deck is not very refined and i welcome you to try n make it better and post your improvements before and how this deck helped you. Goodluck in Wrecking the R3-KT.
