Overview
This guide will provide quick instructions on how to perform a glitch in the mini-game Steamworld Goat and unlock the “Steamworld Goat” achievement.
Finding The Mini-Game
To begin, you need to first start a custom game in Goat City Bay with the Goat Queen mutator. Begin going down the road that you start off on and take the first right you come across. This will lead you into a cul-de-sac. Enter the last house on your left and approach the television on the bottom floor, where the mini-game is accessed.
Lots Of Lag
The activate key in the mini-game happens to be R, which is also the key used to perform the Goat Queen’s super power (spawning goats from the sky). With that said, begin the game by clicking R and navigate your character in the mini-game using the down arrow. While holding down the down arrow, rapidly click R to make the game lag. This will cause you to glitch through blocks in the mini-game and quickly get past a depth of 200, thus unlocking the achievement.
Lots And Lots Of Lag
If the game still does not lag (or does not lag enough) even after using the Goat Queen’s super power, it is possible to make the game lag slightly more by increasing the graphics settings. These are found by clicking escape, then options. Further graphics settings are found by clicking escape, then options, then advanced. Although increasing some graphics settings require the game to restart, it is likely that the game may lag more once it reopens.
