Guild of Dungeoneering Guide

Simple strategy :-) for Guild of Dungeoneering

Simple strategy :-)

Overview

Just some basics if u wanna beat the game and have problems.

Basics

When you start off just go easy the start is not very hard.

Try to block every damage.

Try to do more damage than ur enemies.

Try to avoid the bad plant debuff thingies.

Try to get the good plant buff thingies.

Dont fight against higher level monsters if you can avoid it.

if you have to try to get some items before you fight them.

Progression

My foundry progression was pretty simple:

get the bruiser (can take most dungeons easy)

get the mime (for shapeshifter)

get all the items of rank 1.

get 1 or 2 buffs of ur choosing i liked the 1+ health buff.

get shapeshifter.

get all rank 2 items

get the cartomancer (gg)

get the starting hand buffs

get all rank 3 items

finish game.

Endgame

Cartomancer is pretty imba and can take almost all dungeons alone after i bought him i didnt try anyone else *g*.

just get cards that give you carddraw, life and some block in that order.

The spell that makes this possible, is the one that gives u 1+ dmg for every card in ur hand.

save up more cards than the enemy has life and profit.

if he is Tenacious just play 1 of ur instant dmg cards before you play the card dmg card.
So u can get it from the new draw.

I will start the game new again and will look into the other classes but for now i would say that the cartomancer is pretty overpowered.

A last suggestion if you have ur cartomancer set up. Try the other classes because after you finish the game you have to restart completly if you wanna play more or wait for the addon.

Thanks for listening hope i could help you a little. Just wanted to post something because no guide is online here 😉

Random hints.

– ur walking is somewhat random but you can try to manipulate it with gold coins, i think that higher gold numbers get a higher “greed factor”

– sometimes ur pathing changes just by playing corridors so be careful or try to use it to ur advantage.

– try to keep an instant damage in ur hand and dont waste it, maybe you need it later to win.

– you can move 2 pieces a turn in cleared or seen corridors but only 1 piece in fogged corridors but you can move into a fogged corridor after you went trough a cleared corridor.

If this guide helped you or you have suggestions feel free to comment 🙂
