Introduction
Welcome to the world of Sister Travel. In this game, you will play the role of the primary protagonist, called Brother. His goal is to explore the world and collect as many “Little Sisters” as he can. As you progress through the story, you’ll meet new people, fight tough monsters, and maybe even save the world.
The intent of this guide is to serve as a full walkthrough of the game. As such, this guide will feature information on the characters and enemies of Sister Travel, along with lists of the various skills, equipment, and places you will travel throughout the game. This guide will also give you a general walkthrough of what progress could or should be made during each in game day and what encounters you can expect on your journey.
The game caters to many different play styles, so the choices you make on what party members you use, what equipment you buy, what choices you make, and how far you explore will be entirely up to you, the player. As such, your experience may vary. This guide will not tell you specifically what to do, but will provide the relevant information for you to make the choice yourself.
From a completion standpoint, this guide should give you all the information you need to complete the story and to unlock all of the character CG.
NOTE: This guide assumes that you have installed the optional content patch from Kagura’s website. This patch will allow you to romance your party members, but more importantly, it will give you more chances to unlock XP, which will make progress through the game much easier.
This guide is broken down into three main sections:
- Basic Gameplay. This will introduce you to the characters and explain how to play the game.
- The Walkthrough. This will guide you through the story, where to go, and what to expect.
- The Appendix. This serves as a point of reference on enemies, equipment, Monster Hearts, CG, maps, and even a few unseen or unexplained parts of the game.

Gameplay Mechanics
The gameplay in Sister Travel is that of a fairly simplistic RPG. What you can accomplish each day will depend largely on how you spend the Action Points (AP) of your party. At the start of each day, your AP will be replenished, with each party member’s AP being unique to that party member. Once a party member’s AP becomes depleted, they will become fatigued, lowering their effectiveness in combat. When some or all of your party is fatigued, combat will be much more difficult, but not necessarily impossible. Sometimes it may be worth it to press on through one more battle than to retreat for the day, but that will largely depend on your play style.
You can spend your AP in three ways: Exploration, Combat, and Event Checks.
Exploration
At the start of the story, the majority of the map will be hidden from you. Each day, your party can explore as much or as little as you desire until you run into pre-determined story-driven barriers. For instance, you may explore the Abundant Forest until you run across a fallen tree that will need to be cleared by lumberjacks later in the story. As you move across the map, you’ll find new points of interest you can discover, which will typically open up more points of interest as you reveal the map.
Generally, each area you explore will cost your active party one AP each the first time you explore the area. Once your AP is depleted, there is no penalty if you continue exploring, but any combat encounter you may run across will be more difficult as a result.
If you find your AP depleted, but still wish to explore, you might consider saving the game to allow you to restore your progress should things become more than you can handle.
Combat
As you explore the map or progress through the story, you will inevitably run across creatures or Monsters that you will need to deal with. For some combat encounters, you will be given the chance to flee if you do not feel prepared for the fight. In most cases, however, you will just have to combat the enemy. Most of the combat in game is predetermined for when you explore certain areas or accept certain quests. If a point of interest on the map is marked red, you can almost certainly guarantee that you will have to fight if you enter that area.
In general, it is a good practice to save the game before entering any major combat scenario, as you never know if you might catch a bad break with enemy skills and reloading from a recent save will take a lot of the sting out of a defeat.
The combat in Sister Travel is a lot like most JRPGs in that it is turn based. Each party member has stats that will affect how quickly and how often they can perform a combat action, with many also possessing skills or items that can change that stat. Whenever a party member reaches their turn to act, they will have the option to perform basic actions, such as attack or defend, as well as the option to perform skills. Skills will consume Skill Points (SP) and the skills available will depend largely on the character, their level, and the choices you have made in the game. Combat Actions and Skills will be covered in the following sections.
Event Checks
Throughout the story, you will run into a few areas where your party will need to spend AP to progress, such as forcing your way through a particularly sturdy door. In these instances, you will spend the AP from all party members, not just the active party.
For example, as you explore the Forest Ruins, you encounter a door that requires 3 AP to open. Your active party is comprised of Brother (who has 4 AP), Kodachi (3 AP), and Amy (4 AP). However, Medina, who is not an active party member, has only 2 AP. You will be unable to open the door until you can get your entire party’s AP at or above 3.
Combat Actions
As you progress through the story, you will encounter many enemies that you will have to battle to advance. Entering into combat, you will have several options for how your party can engage the enemy.

SECTION II – WALKTHROUGH
Walkthrough: Introduction (Day 0)
Since the Sister Travel story is broken up into days, this walkthrough will similarly be broken up into days. Each day will recommend which available quests to take as well as where to explore and what encounters you may face. There is no set number of days in which you must complete the story, but you could reasonably complete the story in roughly 33 in-game days. If you’re trying to find all of the CG and Monster Hearts, you may want to slow down and spend more time fishing or visiting your party members, but if you’re just in it for the story, you should be able to easily follow this guide to the end.
Along the way, you will run into random encounters, special side events, and optional encounters, which will be indicated in the walkthrough and expanded upon in the Random and Special Encounters section of the guide.
You’ll also run across choices you can make. Most of these choices all end up leading to the same result, but the major choices will be pointed out in this guide and any noticeable changes will be explained.
Finally, in your travels, you’ll run across many enemies to fight. Most of these fights are pretty straightforward, but each encounter will be noted and any particularly useful strategies will be described.
And with that, let’s enter the world of Sister Travel.
==========================================================================
The story begins with the protagonist (Brother) exploring the wilderness of Old Tree Gate. This serves as a bit of a tutorial for how to play the game. Exploring the area, you’ll encounter Wild Piglets which will teach you how to perform combat with the enemies of the game.
Piglets will be a recurring enemy throughout the game and barely put up much of a fight. You should be able to easily dispatch them in a couple of attacks.
Eventually, Brother decides that it has gotten late and he should turn back, presenting the first choice of the game:
CHOICE: Continue Exploring or Return to Camp
Continue exploring
Return to camp
Heading to the right, you will encounter a Mandrake, the first Monster of the game.
Heading to the left, you will return to camp, ending the day.
Between the two choices, it’s better to head right. It will be a hopeless fight, but there will be no penalty to losing this fight. In fact, there is a reward for doing so.
The Mandrake far outclasses you in attack and can also heal itself, making this fight practically impossible to do alone.
Whether you chose to fight the Mandrake or return to camp, you’ll find yourself back at camp the following day.
Walkthrough: Meeting New Friends (Day 1-3)
You will wake in the Peach Cat Inn, which serves as your home base during the game. You’ll be awakened by Aidelle, the innkeeper and the local guild representative for your party. She’ll urge you to hurry up and come downstairs. As she leaves, you’ll be prompted of your first quest of the game.
After Aidelle leaves, you can search your room, which allows you to further explore the rest of the second floor.
You’ll have the option of sneaking into Aidelle and Kodachi’s room.
Reward: Aidelle’s Panties
Downstairs, you’ll meet Kodachi, your adventuring partner and the first person to join your party. Afterwards, talk to Aidelle and ask about checking the quest board to learn about quests, tickets, and rewards. Once you’ve taken the quest, you can depart.
Outside, you will find yourself in Camp. You can explore the camp to discover the Center of Camp, the Blacksmith shop, the River, and the other inn in camp, the Wildcat Inn. Next, head north into the Sunny Forest.
In the Sunny Forest, you can explore the area until you discover the Beast Meeting Place, which is the target of the Piglet quest.
This will be a simple fight, as neither you nor the Boar have any skills to use. A couple attacks should be all it takes to finish the fight.
After completing the quest, continue to explore the area until you find the Nursery of Solitude, where you will now encounter a Mandrake. Kodachi will not want to try fighting the Monster at this time, so you can only choose to return to camp and talk to Aidelle.
Back at the Peach Cat Inn, you’ll discuss the situation and Aidelle will suggest you buy some equipment, which unlocks the Blacksmith in camp, where you should head immediately.
Kodachi will gleefully browse the shop while Brother does some browsing of his own.
Reward: Broadsword (x2), Light Buckler, Kodachi CG2
Loss: 100G
Returning to the inn, Aidelle will offer you the first story quest of the game.
Aidelle will request that you bring her Water and Medical Herbs so that she can make potions for your party.
Head south from camp to the Abundant Forest and explore the map. You won’t encounter anything, but you will discover a few new areas to further explore later. With nothing else to do, head back to the inn and choose to go to bed.
You’ll have the option of peeping through the keyhole to Aidelle and Kodachi’s room.
Starting a new day, you’ll first want to work on Aidelle’s potion ingredient quest, so head out into the camp.
On your first visit to camp, you’ll notice a new face at the Wildcat Inn. Dropping in, you’ll meet a ranger who is working with the laborers to the south. She’ll depart before you have a chance to make proper introductions.
Once the new person departs, head to the river to fetch some Water. You only need one for the quest, but you can go ahead and stock up if you wish. Water doesn’t really serve much of a purpose outside of a very minor HP boost and a very small sell price. With water in hand, now all you need are medical herbs. Head south to the Abundant Forest.
Searching the forest will find your mysterious new friend, who will offer to help you find medical herbs if you help her take care of a beast that has been bothering the workers. This unlocks a small clearing nearby and the next combat encounter.
This fight should be fairly simple. Though the hog has a couple skills it can use in battle, it is countered by a fairly low HP stat.
Once the hog is eliminated, return to your friend at the logging site. She’ll tell you that you can find herbs at the nearby brook, opening another part of the map.
DAILY ACTIVITY: Herb Gathering
Every day, you can search the Brook for herbs. Some herbs are useful for restoring some HP, while others are mostly good for sale or trade.
Reward: Medical Herb, Berries, Local Herb, Four Leaf Clover
Search the Brook until you find a Medical Herb. Prize in hand, return to the inn to talk to Aidelle. She’ll now be able to resupply potions for you each day, which you can go ahead and do now.
Resupplied and ready, it’s now time to take care of the Monster you previously discovered. Leave camp and head to the Nursery of Solitude in the Sunny Forest to do battle with the Mandrake.
The Mandrake will cast a lot of healing and defense spells, making her hard to take out. Make sure you’re near full on HP and SP before taking her on.
After the battle, you’ll decide to befriend the girl instead of ending her, allowing you to meet Flora. This also grants you a Mandrake Heart. She won’t join the party, but she will assist you as the story progresses.
Afterwards, you should continue to explore the Sunny Forest around the dried river bank and complete any quests you have active. With nothing else to do, return to camp and call it a day.
The next morning, you’ll notice your new friend at the Wildcat Inn again. Pop by for a visit to finally make introductions. She’ll introduce herself as Amy. Brother will offer her to join the party, but she’ll decline. She still has work she has promised to do for the loggers, but she’ll think about your offer.
Leaving the camp in either direction and returning will have you spot someone new at the Peach Cat Inn. Visiting the inn, you’ll just miss the newcomer. Exiting the inn again will spot her heading north.
ENCOUNTER: Medina and the Piglets
Following north, you’ll meet a medic named Medina who is accompanying another party of adventurers when they are accosted by wild pigs. The party will quickly abandon her, prompting you to swoop in for the rescue.
COMBAT: Boar (x1) and Wild Piglets (x4)
You’ll have encountered all of these enemies before, but never in this quantity. You should have Brother’s Brother Attack and Kodachi’s Double Attack at this point, which will help make quick work of the pigs.
After the fight, you’ll properly introduce yourselves and be given a choice:
CHOICE: Invite to Your Party, Seduce, or See ya
Invite to your party
Seduce
Well, that sucks. See ya.
It doesn’t really matter which choice you make. Inviting her or trying to seduce her will have her join your party. Trying to blow her off will have Kodachi chastise you before inviting Medina to join your party.
With your party gaining a much needed healer, the group will decide to head back to the inn.
Walkthrough: The Seal Invasion (Day 4-6)
The next day, depart the inn and stop to talk to Amy again before heading north to continue exploring the Sunny Forest where you’ll encounter another Boar on the dried river bed.
You’ve fought these several times before now, so it should be an easy fight.
Clearing the river bed will reveal a dense forest and an open meadow. Exploring the area, you’ll encounter a new enemy.
This fight will be a bit harder, since the seal can heal and has a pretty devastating Ice Blade attack.
Afterwards, Medina will ask about the dangers of Seals and the party will decide they need to go warn the camp, unlocking a new quest.
Before heading back, however, you should continue to explore the area.
To the west is a cave. Venturing inside will reveal it to be the Seal’s den. You can choose to try exploring the cave, but you’ll find yourself fighting endless waves of Seals at the entrance, so probably best to flee when given the chance.
OPTIONAL COMBAT: White Seal (x1), Seal (x2)
The Seals won’t be terribly difficult, but they can alternate between healing and dealing large spikes of damage to your party.
Once you’ve fled the cave (or decided to skip it for now), continue searching the area to find the Blessed Fruit tree.
DAILY ACTIVITY: Apple Picking
Every day, you can search the tree for apples. The different apples can either restore HP, SP, or possibly even AP. Some can also be traded or sold.
Reward: Red Apple, Green Apple, Golden Apple, Akebia, Worm-Infested Apple
While picking apples, you may come across a Fairy who will be none too pleased to see you.
The Fairy has an ability to attack multiple times, making the fight a bit more difficult. However, should the battle go sour, the Fairy may end the fight early.
After the fight, the Fairy will confess to wanting to explore the world and will join you as another support character.
With nowhere else to explore, return to the inn to regroup, where you’ll tell Aidelle about the Seal problem.
With the increasing number of Seals in the area, it will be decided that Sealicide will help cull the numbers. Given the urgency of the problem, Brother will have to leave in the morning to go buy some from a neighboring town.
With a course of action settled, the party will go to bed. Spend a few minutes talking to Aidelle, Kodachi, and Medina before returning to your room for the night.
ENCOUNTER: Studying with Flora
Brother will be restless before his trip the next day and will end up talking with Flora about human and monster compatibility.
Brother sets off alone in the morning after talking to the party about his trip. Flora will catch him at the edge of camp to bid him farewell with a promise to look after his friends. On a mission, Brother will be unable to explore any side areas on his journey, so head south through the Abundant Forest until you reach the World Map. Continue on to the town of Yluze. Should you have befriended the Fairy already, she will join you on the journey, though this will have no major alterations to the plot.
While traveling to Yluze, Brother will stop and eat before he encounters a new enemy.
This will be a simple fight, as the Chicow has no skills to use and low enough HP where Brother can take it out in one to two hits or with a skill attack.
After the fight, you’ll eventually arrive at Yluze. Brother will pick up the Sealicide and retire to the inn for the night, fantasizing about his party members while they gossip about him back at camp.
The next day will put you in the shoes of Kodachi back at camp. She’ll start the day patrolling the area for threats while waiting on Brother’s return. Heading towards the Sunny Forest will reveal that Seals are preparing to attack. You’ll be prompted to quickly return to the inn to warn the others. On the way, there’s a chance of a random encounter as you return to the Peach Cat Inn.
This fight shouldn’t be too difficult, but you’ll want to conserve your HP and SP, as you’ll need them later.
What follows is a series of battles across camp as you take on wave after wave of Seals.
This will be the same fight as the random encounter above, only now you have two party members.
Yet another Seal will attack. Again, you should be equipped to handle the fight.
As you continue to fight the Seals, Flora will join you. She’ll prove to be a powerful ally with enough SP to get you through the next few battles.
COMBAT: Seal (x2), White Seal (x1)
The fights will start to get harder from now on, as the Seals healing will be combined with the White Seal’s Ice Blade.
Though easier than the last fight, this one will still be difficult since your party’s health will be getting lower and your skills may almost be exhausted.
At this point, your party will start feeling fatigued, making a difficult fight much harder. Flora should be well rested and capable of carrying the team though.
Just as things look to be calming down, you’ll then be accosted by some much more difficult enemies.
COMBAT: Seal Knight, Seal Mage
This will be the toughest fight of the encounter, as your party will be low on HP and SP at this point and the Seal Knight does a great job of shielding the Mage from damage, allowing the Mage to hit your party repeatedly with Frost Breath, devastating your already low HP in the process.
Just as it looks like your party will fall to the Seals, Brother arrives in the nick of time to finish off the fight and drive off the Seals.
Back at the inn, your party will celebrate the victory and prepare for taking the offensive tomorrow before heading to bed. You’ll talk to Aidelle about expanding the inn, which she’ll work on arranging. Upstairs, talk to Aidelle and Medina before checking on Kodachi.
Talking with Kodachi, Brother will jokingly ask if she wants him to sleep with her if she’s too scared to sleep alone, which she’ll respond with a serious yes.
Walkthrough: The Seal Cave (Day 7-8)
With the Seals temporarily halted, it’s now time to take the fight to them. Leave the inn and head north into the Sunny Forest and then to the Seal’s Den. As you enter the cave, you’ll run across more Seals, which you’ll decide to attack before they can call for backup.
COMBAT: White Seal (x2), Ace Seal (x1)
Try to take out these Seals as quickly as you can before they overwhelm you with Ice Blades. The fight shouldn’t be too difficult, but try to save your SP.
After the fight, Brother and Kodachi will move forward to hold off the Seals while Medina works on setting off the Sealicide.
COMBAT: Seal, Seal Knight, White Seal
This fight will be a bit harder since you’ll be doing it without Medina. You may want to make sure that Kodachi is equipped with the first aid kit just in case. The Seal Knight will use cover to draw your attacks on him, so you’ll need to take him out first before you can focus on the rest.
Medina will then set off the Sealicide, seemingly clearing the cave. Before reporting back to camp, you’ll want to explore the rest of the cave to ensure that it’s all clear. Venturing into the northern part of the cave will run across one or two Sea Slugs (seems to be random).
The Slug will mostly switch between attacks and slowing your party’s defense and speed down. Your party will likely be a bit fatigued at this point, but should still be up to the challenge.
Next, venture south until you discover a dark crevice.
Kodachi will squeeze through the hole to explore ahead. When Medina tries to follow, she’ll find herself getting stuck. Brother will prove to be less than helpful.
From the exit of the narrow tunnel, continue east until you find a hidden cache of items.
Reward: 142G, Longer Sword, Emerald Necklace, Amethyst, Topaz
All that’s left now is the pond to the west, which you should hold off on for now, as your party will be fairly tired by this point. Until the cave is completely clear, you’ll not be able to explore further in either direction, so at this point, probably best to return to camp and regroup.
Depending on your choice of daily quests, you may have one quest you can try to tackle on the way back to camp, involving Seals gathering at the Lake Shore in Sunny Forest.
QUEST COMBAT: Seal (x2), White Seal (x1)
Having dealt with these enemies multiple times now, this should be nothing new, though you’ll be entering the fight with a pretty fatigued party with depleted inventory, so it may prove tougher than it should be.
Finishing off these seals will unlock a new quest.
With nothing else to do, head back to camp and call it a day.
DAILY QUESTS: Black Hogs (1)
With a new day, it’s time to return to the cave lake and finish off the Seals.
COMBAT: Seal Knight, Evil Seal, Ace Seal
This will be a tough fight. The Evil Seal can heal as well as attack the entire party, while the Seal Knight will draw all attacks to himself as before. Focus on the Knight, then immediately take out the Evil Seal.
With the Seals vanquished, a new quest will be unlocked.
Also with the Seals defeated, you’ll consider the cave fully explored.
With the Seals cleared, the dried river bed will now be clear to let you wander north, but first head to the Abundant Forest to tackle the hog problem.
QUEST COMBAT: Black Hogs (x3)
This shouldn’t be much more difficult than a typical piglet encounter, with the Hog’s Charge attack being the only real issue.
After the fight, you’ll unlock another new quest.
Next, head back to the Sunny Forest and the dried river bed.
OPTIONAL ENCOUNTER: Unexpected swim
While crossing the river, there’s a chance that one of your party members will fall in and be washed down the river to a nearby junk pile. Searching the pile, you’ll find some useful loot. Should you not fall in, you can always try the crossing again until you do.
Reward: 100G, Broader Sword
Venturing north, you’ll discover the Forest Ruins, also unlocking another new quest.
You’ll not be able to explore too far into the ruins yet, as the party will decide to go talk to Aidelle about the discovery. With nothing else to do, clear any other active quests you have, then head back to camp.
Back in camp, drop by the Wildcat Inn to talk to Amy again before heading back to the Peach Cat to talk to Aidelle. She’ll mention that the renovations you requested are about to begin. She’ll also reward you for the discovery of the ruins.
Walkthrough: The Forest Ruins (Day 9-10)
DAILY QUESTS: Ursa (1), Nekomata (1)
The next day will have you return to the Forest Ruins to commence exploring the area. One of the first discoveries you’ll find is a well.
Searching the well, you’ll discover a hidden room at the bottom. As the party climbs down, Medina will fall on top of you.
CHOICE: Are you okay? or This is nice
Your choice won’t really affect the outcome of the event.
Reward: Medina CG4, Blank Diary, 400G, 200XP
In certain locations, such as the well, your party can rest to recover lost HP and SP as well as recover one AP. You can only do this once per day, so use it strategically.
Exploring houses to the north will spark your first encounter with Mold.
The Mold will mostly use status effect skills on your party, leaving them wide open to attack. They may use a self-destruct ability that will poison some or all of your party also.
There are also more ruins to the east that you can explore.
Exploring the ruins, you’ll come across a dining hall with a little bit of loot inside.
Reward: Silver Goblet, Silver Plate, Decorated Candlestick
Further exploration will be halted by a collapsed column blocking your path. Your current party will not be strong enough to clear it, leaving you no choice but to head back towards camp. Before calling it a day, you should have a couple active daily quests you can work on.
First, head to the Nursery of Solitude in the Sunny Forest (where you previously met Flora). Brother and Kodachi will have a conversation that is interrupted by your quarry.
The cat girl will deal a lot of bleeding attacks to your party, but you should have enough SP to keep your health up and end the fight relatively quickly.
Finally, you can get a start on the Ursa quest by searching the Animal Path in the Abundant Forest. Unfortunately, your party will become hopelessly lost. Before finding your way back off the path, you may run across a few random encounters with Chicows, Black Hogs, or Boars.
OPTIONAL COMBAT: Wild Chicow (x1), Black Hog (x1), or Boar (x1)
None of these creatures are particularly difficult or particularly powerful, making wandering the Animal Path good for a little XP farming.
Once you find your way back to the Abundant Forest, you can either wander the path some more to hunt more animals, or return to camp and regroup.
DAILY QUESTS: Seal Survivors (1)
In the morning, after you’ve replenished your supplies and checked the quest board, leave the inn, then come back. Aidelle will tell you that the renovations have been complete and that everyone now has their own room. This also unlocks the spa.
Before departing the inn again, make sure to start any quests you wish to do for the day, as returning to the inn will end the day.
You should have one last bit of unfinished business with the Seals, so head to the Seal’s Den and explore the bedroom area in the north west corner of the caves to find the last of the survivors.
QUEST COMBAT: Sea Slug (x2), Seal Knight (x1), Seal Mage (x1)
As always, focus on the Seal Knight if he casts Cover, otherwise focus on the Seal Mage, who will be dealing a lot of damage with his Frost Breath.
With the Seals wiped out, you can continue the rest of your day completing any active quests or performing any daily activities before returning to the inn.
Back at the inn, you’ll find Amy, who informs you that her work for the lumber company has finished and she’d like to join your party. Your group will celebrate before calling it a night.
DAILY ACTIVITY: Interacting with the Girls
With the inn renovated, you can now start visiting the girls in the spa or in their rooms. If you’re interested in unlocking everyone’s CG, make sure to catch them in the spa at least once. Also, visit Medina in her room at the first opportunity to unlock one CG that can be tricky to get. Once you’ve romanced a character, you can always visit their room afterwards to romance them again and maybe unlock more CG.
Reward: Character CG, Character XP
Walkthrough: The Stone Cathedral (Day 11-12)
With a larger party, now is a good time to tackle some problems you ran across before. First, after boosting Amy’s equipment (if you wish), head back to the Animal Path to search for the Ursa. With a ranger on your team, you’ll be able to navigate the path with no issue. Just head up and then left to find your prey.
QUEST COMBAT: Mister Panda
The Ursa will have quite a few skills it can use in this fight, including a counter attack that can cause you some major trouble if you aren’t careful. Have Medina (or Kodachi with a First Aid Kit) ready to keep your health up while everyone else focuses on the fight.
Reward: Bear Head, Bear Claws
Medina will find the leftover bear parts adorable and will want to keep them. This equipment should last her for most of the rest of the story, so go ahead and equip it. Once finished, you have the option of heading west to discover another Blessed Fruit tree. Picking apples from this particular tree may cause an encounter with a Sprite, so make sure you have your preferred party ready and healed up before exploring the tree.
The Sprite will have a lot of combat skills she can use, as well as a healing skill making her difficult to take out. If you can wear her health low enough, she may surrender. If she wears your health down, she may flee, forcing you to start the encounter over.
From the tree, head right, up, then left to return to the Abundant Forest. From there, return to camp.
ENCOUNTER: Traveling Merchant
After Medina has the bear gear, a merchant may show up at camp selling a Bear Suit that Medina will fall in love with. It will cost a hefty price, but if you’ve been farming daily quests and being frugal with your money, you should be able to easily afford it without fully depleting your funds.
Reward: Bear Suit
Loss: 2000G
With your increased party size, you should be able to clear the rubble in the Forest Ruins, so return to further explore the area. Deeper in the ruins, you’ll find a large building that you should hold off on exploring. You’ll also find a bird nesting area with some angry birds.
The Dodos will use a charge attack that can be a bit overwhelming if you aren’t expecting it, but the fight shouldn’t be too difficult.
You won’t be able to wander any deeper at this time, so best to head back to camp.
ENCOUNTER: Things get hairy
If Medina is kitted out with all of the bear gear, there’s a chance of an encounter near the well. She won’t feel well and will transform into another Mister Panda. The fight should be the same as the Ursa fight above, though without the luxury of a healer and the handicap of a battle worn party. If you’re not confident in the fight, you can avoid the area around the well and return later. After the fight, Medina will return to normal, though a bit changed.
Reward: Medina becomes more ursine.
Medina’s maximum AP increased by 1.
Back at camp, Aidelle will offer a new story quest.
STORY QUEST: Arrows and Traps
Aidelle will request that you bring her Wood and Feathers so that she can make ranger gear for Amy.
Wood should be easily accessible from the lumber yard to the south and you’ll likely have feathers from the Dodo fight earlier, so you should be able to quickly finish the quest before calling it a day.
Now’s a good time to go explore that large building, so return to the Forest Ruins and enter the building to discover the Stone Cathedral.
The Stone Cathedral is a large building, so you’ll burn through your AP pretty quickly if you aren’t careful in how you explore. Once inside, head south, then west so that you can find the courtyard. Wandering into the courtyard will find a new Monster.
COMBAT: Alraune, Tentacle (x2)
This fight will be similar to the Mandrake fight, with the exception that this time she has backup. The tentacles will cast Cover, meaning you’ll have to take them out first, which shouldn’t be too difficult. The Alraune can cast Regenerate, meaning you should focus your bigger attacks on her to drive her health down faster than she can regain it.
After clearing the courtyard, head west, then north to explore the storage room.
The door to the storage room will be wedged shut, requiring your entire party spend 3 AP to get through. This includes any inactive party members. Bursting through the door, you’ll find a decent haul of treasure, plus a couple quest items.
Reward: Wood, Antique Coin (x10), Topaz (x3), Amethyst (x4), Silver Censer, Burned Roundshield
You can now explore the rest of the Cathedral in any order you like, as you’ll be avoiding any further combat for the moment. You’ll find a covered dish in the dining room that you shouldn’t open yet and a book in the study that you shouldn’t touch until later. In the downstairs bedrooms, you’ll run across something startling.
Exploring the bedrooms will have you run across a wandering spirit. Medina is terrified of ghosts and you will not be able to enter the room at this time.
Finally, upstairs in another dining room, you’ll discover a statue of a young woman.
With nothing else to do in the ruins at the moment, rest up at the well then complete any active quests you have before heading back to camp.
DAILY ACTIVITY: Apple Vendor
Returning to camp, you’ll find someone new near the river. He’ll offer to buy any Red or Green Apples from you, as well as offering to trade for any Four Leaf Clovers you find. If you’ve been picking apples every day, you should be able to take advantage of this right away.
Return to the inn to call it a day.
Going to bed, Brother will wonder if Medina is okay. Go to her room to talk about the ghost you encountered earlier. She’ll ask you to assist her with something.
Walkthrough: Side Quests & Wandering Spirits (Day 13-14)
You should now be ready to tackle some of the challenges of the Stone Cathedral, so make your way now. Your first stop will be the covered dish in the dining room.
You’ve encountered Mold before, so this shouldn’t be very challenging outside of their sheer numbers. Try to save your SP, as there are more fights to come.
Next, head upstairs and check out the book you refused to touch before.
The Grimoire will mostly focus on status effect attacks, but she’ll occasionally hit you with a mana drain that will give her some of your SP. Try to hit her with your best skill attacks, as its much better to spend your SP than to have them stolen.
After defeating the Grimoire, you’ll be able to explore the upstairs bedrooms, which will end your exploration of the Stone Cathedral.
Return to the inn and talk to Aidelle, who will offer some new quests for you.
If you’ve saved up a few tickets, go ahead and take the Mold quest and the Swan quest, in that order. You can try tackling the Mold quest now by choosing to go upstairs. Make sure you have decent HP before going into the barn.
You can try to win this fight, but you’ll only have 18 turns to do it. There’s actually an easier way to complete the quest if you just focus on staying alive.
After the failed battle, talk to Aidelle, who will remind you of some Cleaning Spray that Brother had previously. Check out your room to find the spray in your inventory. Equip a bottle to each of your active party members, then pop back into the barn to restart the fight.
QUEST COMBAT: Mold (x3), Stubborn Mold (x2)
Don’t even try using skills during this fight, just choose to use the Jet Spray to perform two attacks on your target. If you focus on the Mold first, you can knock them out in 2-3 attacks. They’ll all put up little resistance, so just keep spraying.
After the fight, make sure to re-equip your normal weapons, as the spray is practically useless on anything but Mold. Now, head back to the Forest Ruins and check out the construction site to tackle the Swan problem. Unlike most of your quests, this one will come in waves.
The Swan will mostly use Charge attacks with some hard hitting Pokes thrown in as well. With more enemies coming though, save your SP.
There’s still another wave coming, so use your SP sparingly.
QUEST COMBAT: Black Swan (x2), Dodo (x1)
This is the last fight, so feel free to use your stronger attacks now to end it quickly.
Once you’ve cleared the site, return to the inn to call it a night. Talk to Aidelle before bed to discuss upgrading the camp.
Now, instead of visiting any of the girls, return to your room for the night.
ENCOUNTER: Medina’s therapy
Medina will come visit your room to talk about her fear of ghosts. Brother will give her some therapy to help relax her.
Reward: Medina CG6
Medina is no longer scared of ghosts
If you chose to upgrade camp, the Blacksmith shop should be selling new inventory, so you may want to stop by to see what’s available.
When you exit the inn, Medina will make a request.
Medina will apologize for her not being as helpful as she could be and ask that you help her get a strong herb from the East Wind Plateau, which will unlock a new area on the world map.
Before tackling this request, you have a few pieces of unfinished business to attend to first. Head south into the Abundant Forest to discover a new part of the map. This will be where a Tyger was spotted.
This shouldn’t be too difficult of a fight. The Tyger has several skills to help its attack speed, but a few harder hitting skills from your party should make quick work of it.
With the Tyger defeated, you’ll discover a Cat that Medina will adore. Checking the area afterwards will discover a stone monument that your party will be unable to read at the moment.
Next, now that Medina has conquered her fear of ghosts, its time to clear out the rest of the Cathedral in the Forest Ruins.
This will be a difficult encounter. The ghost will cast a Sorrow skill on your party, lowering their effectiveness. Worse, once you deplete her HP, she’ll start using a skill that drains your party’s HP to heal herself. This skill will be particularly devastating for Brother, as it can take him out in one hit. It may actually be wise to sub him out of the party for this fight.
As the ghost departs, she will leave a Silver Key and a cryptic message:
A secret sleeps at the feet of the 16 pillars. Under the morning star which shines at dawn sleep I.
Dusk, twilight, the time of the reaper. The one you shan’t meet.
Mustn’t touch the panther of the night. In one strike it slays all.
These will come into play later in the story, so for now, just complete any quests you have active, then head back to the inn.
Walkthrough: The East Wind Plateau (Day 15-17)
Now, it’s time to visit the East Wind Plateau to find an herb for Medina. As you first arrive, you’ll have a stranger literally drop in on you, a harpy named Celaeno. She’ll initially be worried about meeting a human, but will quickly decide to ask you for help. She’ll tell you about a giant bird that has been attacking the harpies.
As you make your way through the plateau, stick to the forest and rocky outcrops, as passing through the open valleys and hills will attract the Roc. As you reach the end of the plateau, he’ll inevitably attack.
Your party will be ill-equipped to handle this fight, so instead of trying to win, focus on staying alive for 14 turns. Amy will be the biggest threat to the Roc with her ranged attacks, which may make her his primary target.
The Roc will eventually fly off, leaving your party a little confused in how to actually defeat it. Up ahead will be a cave where the surviving Harpies have hidden to escape the Roc. They’ll be delighted to see Celaeno, but none too happy to see humans.
The two Harpies will primarily focus on aerial attacks and will often fly out of reach, making most of your attacks less effective than normal. Amy’s bow will come in handy for this fight.
After the fight, Celaeno will smooth things over and tell her sisters that you are here to help. As you venture further along the plateau, Brother will devise a plan. Eventually, you’ll reach an open plain, the scene of your final battle with the Roc.
The fight will start with Kodachi, Medina, and Amy keeping the Roc busy. This will be similar to the previous encounter, where there’s not much you can do but stay alive for 18 turns. It doesn’t really matter if you deal any damage at this point, just stay alive.
With the Roc distracted, the Harpies will lift Brother and drop him onto the Roc’s back. Now you can finally focus on killing the giant bird. The Roc will be unable to attack you directly, but will try to fling you off of its back, which will deal minimal damage. Just worry about dealing powerful attacks and he’ll quickly be beaten.
ENCOUNTER: Brother’s rescue
As the now dead Roc plummets to the ground, Celaeno will swoop in to rescue Brother. However, she’ll be unable to support his weight for long and they’ll both fall onto a nearby grassy plain. Once checking that they’re both okay, Brother will thank Celaeno for her help in the only way he knows how. Afterwards, he’ll discover that they crashed into a field of the Dayflower that Medina sought.
Reward: Monster Girl CG3, Dayflower
Brother and Celaeno will reunite with the rest of the party and the Harpies will move back into their home now that the Roc is gone. After the group celebrates, your party will decide its time to head home. Upon departing, Celaeno will rush to catch up, wanting to join you on your adventures.
Reward: Wind Charm, Heart of Harpies, Treatment Kit, New Resting Place (Harpy Home)
Afterwards, complete any active quests you have, then head back to the inn.
ENCOUNTER: Aidelle’s assault
As you enter the inn, you’ll discover Aidelle being accosted by a particularly handsy patron. You’ll have the option to watch, but you should jump to her defense.
After sending the rude guest packing, Aidelle will thank you for your help before the party calls it a night.
With the ruins still blocked to the north, Aidelle will send you on an errand to go buy some clothes for Flora.
CHOICE: Go with Kodachi or Go with Medina
There will be combat ahead, so decide who would be more useful in a fight and choose them.
With your chosen party member in tow, exit camp and head to the nearby town of Yluze once again. As you travel, you’ll run across an unusual set of bandits on the road.
These dragon ladies will focus on attacks, dealing decent damage with their tails and swords. Overall, the fight shouldn’t be too difficult, though you should conserve some SP for now.
Once you reach town, you’ll decide to grab some provisions for the inn, so you’ll make your way to the nearby farm, where you’ll be accosted by bandits again.
COMBAT: Wyrmpawn (x3), Wyrmrook (x2)
This fight will be marginally tougher, since the Rooks will use defense based skills, drawing your attacks and boosting their resistance. Take out the Rooks first and then make quick work of the Pawns.
Once you reach the inn to stay for the night, it will be revealed that Brother only booked one room for the pair.
Reward: Kodachi CG6, Medina CG7
It doesn’t matter who you choose, you’ll unlock both sets of CG
With your shopping trip finished, it’s time to head home. As you make your way to camp, you’ll be accosted by what is now a familiar sight: more dragon girls.
COMBAT: Wyrmpawn (x2), Wyrmrook (x2), Wyrmqueen (x1)
The Pawns and Rooks are familiar, whereas the Queen will be a bit tougher. She has a regeneration ability and a pretty tough attack that can hit your entire party. Even so, feel free to unleash your best attacks to make quick work of the group.
The Dragons will leave with their tail between their legs and you’ll make it back to camp.
ENCOUNTER: Stranger at camp
When you try to enter the inn, a stranger will bump into you as he departs. You’ll think nothing of it as you head inside, until Aidelle asks for your nightly payment and you’ll discover that the fleeing stranger has stolen your money. Aidelle will end up having to endure some embarrassment to cover your bill.
The party will be in a somber mood as they head to bed. Stop to talk to Aidelle about what happened, then check on Flora to give her the clothes you bought her.
Mandrake’s Heart transforms into Flora’s Heart
Walkthrough: Eels & Thugs (Day 18-20)
Starting off the day, Aidelle will tell you about a couple new quests that are now available. Given your recent money trouble, you’ll want to go ahead and tackle these.
After leaving the inn, head to the Animal Path in the Abundant Forest to find the Miracle Apple. On the path, head up, then left to return to the Blessed Fruit tree. It may take several days of searching the tree before you find the apple, so don’t despair if you can’t find it on the first try.
Head back to the inn. Aidelle will tell you of a new quest that has just come in.
Explorers have made it to the Azure Sea in search of more stone monuments. The search, however has been hindered by Eels in the area. They request that your party come handle the situation.
Once you’ve taken the quest, head upstairs and rest until night. After dark, you’ll be able to explore the noise coming from the barn.
The Banshee will attack your entire party with a scream attack as well as singing a sad song to lower your stats. Despite these attacks and her healing ability, she should be a fairly simple fight, with a few strong attacks from your party making quick work of her.
After the fight, feel free to visit any party members you like before calling it a day.
Leaving the inn, you’ll discover a new face in camp: Rune, owner of a pharmacy shop. Your party will welcome her to the neighborhood before sampling her wares.
Once suitably equipped, head to the world map, then the Azure Sea. Explore along the coast to find a few Eel encounters.
The Eels are not particularly difficult, though they do have two different HP levels. Their attacks are pretty limited to just bites and a writhing group attack. Conserve your SP, as you have several fights ahead.
With just a single Eel this time, it should be a simple fight.
As you continue to explore, you’ll run across a traveling knight in search of adventure. She’s looking for camp, so you’ll give her directions and she’ll be on her way before proper introductions can be made.
This fight will be a bit harder given the amount of Eels in this encounter, but the strategy will be roughly the same. Feel free to use your SP to make quick work of the lot of them.
Up ahead, you’ll discover some ruins near the water’s edge, but by now, your party should be pretty tired, so best to head back towards camp to rest. On the way, stop by the Animal Path in the Abundant Forest. Head up and then right to find the wandering knight, again hopelessly lost. You’ll share some food with her and learn that her name is Aegis. She’ll ask for directions again before running off.
Head to the Seal’s Den in the Sunny Forest to find Aegis again. This time, she’ll happily join your party.
Exit the cave and notice a new area in the south east corner of the Sunny Forest. Stop by to find Celaeno practicing her flying. She’ll tell you of a nearby curiosity she found.
ENCOUNTER: Another monument
Check the sunny mountain at the center of the map to discover another stone monument.
Head back to the inn to call it a day.
Now its time to check out the water ruins on the Azure Sea. Searching the ruins will find another stone monument sitting on a pool of water. Searching the pool will encounter something much bigger than an Eel.
The Water Dragon has a few group attacks as well as a couple pretty tough single attacks. Paired with it’s pretty high HP, this will be a tougher fight. Aegis may prove to be a good asset for this fight, as her counter attack can deal around 200 damage per hit. Paired with Amy’s traps or Brother and Kodachi’s strong attacks will make this fight a bit easier.
Reward: 1500G, Antique Coin (x6), Blue Jewel (x1), Water Dragon Scale, Water Blade, Reflective Amulet
Meanwhile, back at camp, a couple strangers will enter the Peach Cat Inn.
With the Water Dragon defeated, you’ll declare the Azure Sea completely explored. Your party will decide to head back to camp for a well deserved break.
Heading back to the inn, you’ll find Aidelle in trouble as a couple of thugs try to have their way with her. They’ll reveal that they are the ones who robbed you and sent you on the Eel quest hoping that you would be killed by the Water Dragon. Your party will arrive just in time to intervene, causing a fight.
The bandits will have a couple bleeding attacks and a decent counter attack, but the battle itself shouldn’t be particularly hard.
After the fight, the bandits will beg for their lives, but Brother wants blood.
CHOICE: Kill them, Massacre them, Slaughter them
Your choice does not matter, as Aidelle will stop you, telling you they aren’t worth the punishment you’d face for killing them.
With the thugs dispatched, the party will go to bed. Brother will wonder how Aidelle is doing, prompting a visit to her room to talk.
ENCOUNTER: Aidelle’s thanks
Aidelle will thank Brother for his help and the two will talk about their shared history. Brother will offer to make sure Aidelle is unharmed.
Reward: Aidelle CG3, Aidelle CG4
Walkthrough: Fishing (Day 21-22)
With everything that’s happened recently and another day until the ruins will be cleared, your party will decide to go fishing.
Reward: Fishing Rod, Bait (x8)
Head south from camp to make your way to the Azure Sea fishing spot.
Every day, you can fish the Azure Sea spot for fish and eels. There will also be a chance to catch Monsters, which can drop Monster Hearts for Brother.
Monsters: Lorelei, Mermaid, Mermaid Queen, Siren
Reward: Fish, River Moray, Cat Eel
Eventually, it will become dark, prompting the party to head home. Back at the inn, Aidelle will talk to Brother about yesterday’s events and ask for some ideas about how to stop them from happening again.
CHOICE: Hire a guard, Some form of entertainment, A sex shop is what we need
The choice doesn’t really matter. If you want to cycle through all of the choices, suggest the guard, then the sex shop before mentioning the entertainment choice.
Aidelle will think about your ideas as your party heads to bed.
The next morning, Aidelle will announce that the excavation team finished clearing the ruins. This has also introduced a couple new quests, which you should consider grabbing on your way out the door.
Heading outside, you’ll see a new arrival in camp: another buyer. This one will be interested in buying any fish off of you.
DAILY ACTIVITY: Fish Vendor
This vendor will offer to buy any Fish, River Moray (Eels), and Cat Eels that you manage to catch. You may already have a stack of fish from some previous fights if you’d like to sell them now.
Now, make your way back to the Forest Ruins, then head north to discover the Lost Capital.
As you explore the ruins, you’ll run across a few roaming Swans.
These should be a familiar foe by now, so the fight should not be too difficult.
After fighting several Swans, this should be a breeze.
Eventually, you’ll find a large building surrounded by pillars, but skip that for now and explore north to find a bridge. Crossing the bridge will discover the Snake Temple.
At the top of the temple steps, you’ll find a statue with two indentations on it. With no idea what they’re for, head back down the steps and return to the pillars you found earlier. There, you’ll discover the Yard of Thousand Pillars.
Each pillar will be marked with different symbols and a keyhole. For now, just explore the building instead.
Inside, you’ll find a series of ancient wall paintings that seem to be telling a story. Eventually, you’ll reach one that the Sprite recognizes as the Wind Spirit, who is missing.
In the next room are three statues: a dancing maiden, a winged serpent, and a headless woman. Each are holding a different object. If you try to take an item from the statues, the winged serpent statue will come to life and attack.
OPTIONAL COMBAT: Winged Serpent
You can choose to flee from the fight, which is actually recommended, as the Serpent has a lot of HP and some pretty devastating attacks. This is one of the few fights in the game where defeat results in your party retreating rather than dying.
Instead of exploring further, it’s best to take care of some quests.
For the Dragon Girl quest, head to the garden in the Stone Cathedral. You should recognize your foe, as she has as personal vendetta against you and wishes to best you in combat. Before agreeing to the fight, Brother will suggest she fight Kodachi instead, giving you a choice.
CHOICE: Have Kodachi fight alone, Fight with everyone, or Not today
Have Kodachi Fight
Fight with Everyone
Not Today
Having Kodachi fight will unlock Kodachi’s Sword Dance skill, making this the best choice.
Fighting together will make this an easy fight, but yield you no extra reward.
This will simply put off the fight until another time.
While you have encountered these Dragons many times before, this one will be a touch harder with tougher attacks and a regeneration skill. Still, this should not be a difficult fight.
After the fight, the Dragon will vow revenge before running off.
Next, make for the Yluze village to help in the Silent Killer harvest.
QUEST COMBAT: Silent Killer (x2)
The Silent Killers will come in waves. The hardest part of this fight will simply be the numbers you face, as the Killers are very careless with their burn and explosion attacks, hurting themselves and each other as much as they hurt your party.
QUEST COMBAT: Silent Killer (x4)
The second wave will be slightly tougher than the first, but again, not difficult as they’ll continue to wipe themselves out. Finishing off the second wave will give you a chance to swap out party members if your HP or SP are running low.
QUEST COMBAT: Silent Killer (x7)
The final wave will have some overwhelming numbers, but their attacks are equally useless. A single Super Brother Attack should beat down most of the Killers if not all of them, with a few more decent attacks being enough to finish them off.
After the fight, you’ll unlock a new quest.
Back at the inn, you’ll notice new music and a commotion. Aidelle will reveal that she hired some entertainment to keep the crowd calm. You’ll find Celaeno singing with a new face, who will be introduced as Melody, a traveling Idol staying at the inn. When heading to bed, you’ll want to stop by and say hello.
Walkthrough: The Yard of 1000 Pillars (Day 23-24)
DAILY QUESTS: Monstar (2)
In the morning, depart the inn and make your way to the Sunny Plains in the Sunny Forest, where you’ll find the Monstar.
The Monstar will be a tougher fight, as he has a burning attack as well as a lot of status effect skills. Make sure to go into this fight with full HP and SP, as well as Medina.
With that taken care of, head back to the Yard of 1000 Pillars and check out the pillars. Looking at the symbols and the keyhole, Amy will recall the message given by the Wandering Spirit.
A secret sleeps at the feet of the 16 pillars. Under the morning star which shines at dawn sleep I.
Dusk, twilight, the time of the reaper. The one you shan’t meet.
Mustn’t touch the panther of the night. In one strike it slays all.
To decode the message, first head to the pillar marked with a rising sun and a star. Using the key, you’ll find a Stone Head. Next, head to the pillar with a setting sun and grain. Using the key will awaken the Reaper Ghost.
The Reaper will have a pretty rough attack using her scythe to slice all of your party, dealing a massive amount of damage. For this fight, it may be smart to bring Aegis and Medina. Aegis can use her Counter skill to deal massive damage against the Reaper every time she attacks, while Medina can keep everyone alive.
The final part of the message serves as a warning. Going to the dark and animal pillar and using the key will start a fight with the Beast of Massacre.
OPTIONAL COMBAT: Beast of Massacre
This is a fight you should only try if you are feeling adventurous. The Beast’s attacks are incredibly powerful and can take out your party in just a couple hits, if even that. That being said, the fight is not impossible. Pairing up some skills that Brother has not yet unlocked with an unmet party member can make this a much more doable battle, especially if Aegis is using Counter.
With the Stone Head you found, go inside and place the head on the headless statue, causing it to drop a Stained Obsidian Mirror. The party will decide to clean the mirror, which can be done at any darkened water source on the map. The hidden room in the Well will be the closest source, so head there to clean the Obsidian Mirror. Taking the mirror back to the Yard of 1000 Pillars, you can use it on the dancing statue to receive a Sun Gem, as well as the Phantom Heart.
Take the Sun Gem to the Snake Temple and place it in one of the indentations. This will give you a Panther Statue. Go back to the Pillars and place the Panther statue next to the winged serpent statue. It will have no reaction, so the party decides to leave it overnight to see if that makes a difference.
Finish any active quests you have going, then head back to the inn to call it a night. Talking to Melody again will have her join your party.
In the morning, you’ll talk to Aidelle about recent events at the Lost Capital and say that you feel like you’re on the verge of a great discovery. She’ll suggest a celebration that night, prompting Brother to steal a bottle of Mead from the inn before departing.
Returning to the Yard of 1000 Pillars will find the winged serpent statue missing, with a Moon Gem in its place. Grab the Moon Gem and take it to the Snake Temple. On the bridge, you’ll encounter another dancing statue, though this one has come to life.
This will be a difficult fight. The Maiden has quite a few heavy hitting attacks and a skill that lets her replenish her SP. It may be good to pair Medina with Aegis, using Aegis’s counter attack with Medina’s healing.
After the fight, the statue will launch a final attack, causing the bridge to collapse and Amy to fall into the river below.
CHOICE: Save Amy or Don’t
Your choice doesn’t really matter, as either way Brother knows he can’t just let her fall.
Walkthrough: Flashback (Day ??)
You’ll awaken in a forest, only to discover that this is a flashback to Amy’s early adventuring days. She’ll quickly dispatch a wild piglet before heading back to the village of Nnago. Her day finished, she’ll want to return to the Third Cat Inn, where she’ll change clothes then go to bed, after bumping into a familiar face in the common room.
The next day, Amy will check the quest board and find one for the local shaman. Leaving the inn, she’ll go to the nearby shaman’s hut, where she meets Mana.
Mana will hire Amy to go fetch some medical herbs from the nearby forest. Amy will wander the forest to find the herbs before accosting a Chicow Family.
The Chicows will simply attack. Amy should have 8 arrows and a few skills that will let her make quick work of the fight.
After the battle, Amy will return to Mana for her reward. Mana will offer her another job, delivering an item to the local lord’s mansion. Amy will gladly accept the task and make her way there.
At the mansion, the lord will be delighted to meet Amy. In fact, a little too delighted.
With some quick thinking, Amy will escape and return to Mana to tell her what happened. Mana will apologize for the incident and pay Amy for her services. She will also tell Amy’s fortune, suggesting that she would meet a man in the near future. Feeling a bit better about events, Amy will return to the inn to call it a night.
The next morning, Amy will come downstairs to hear a commotion about an incident that occurred at the lord’s mansion. Fearing that the incident refers to her, Amy will decide to leave town in search of adventure and the person she is fated to meet.
Walkthrough: Waterside Ruins (Day 24-26)
Brother and Amy will awaken on the bank of the river in some forgotten ruins. Amy was injured in the fall, but is otherwise okay.
The two will hobble their way through the ruins to find a place to rest. After finally finding a suitable shelter, they will first have to evict its current occupants.
COMBAT: Slime x1, Poisoner x2
This fight will be a bit tough due to your limited party and your fatigue. The Slime and Poisoners will mostly use status effect skills against you, which will hurt a bit more due to your disadvantage. Despite the fight and your fall, you should have high HP and SP though, which should make the difference.
After the fight, Brother will leave Amy to rest while he goes to find firewood and food. Heading back towards the river, you’ll find several pieces of suitable wood along the way, as well as a piglet.
You should be able to end this fight with a single attack.
Back at the river’s edge, you’ll also get some medical herbs before heading back to Amy.
The next morning, Brother will check on Amy again before going to find some water. Heading back to the river, you’ll get some water before heading back.
Next, Brother will take Amy’s Clothes back to the river to wash them, grabbing some apples on the way back. Back with Amy, the day will have gone on and they discuss keeping watch. Brother will stand guard while Amy rests. What follows is a series of fights as Sheep make their way towards the ruins.
COMBAT: Dream Eater (x2), Dream Sheep (x1)
COMBAT: Dream Sheep (x2), Dream Eater (x1)
The Sheep will mostly focus on sleep based attacks. With no help, this can end up leaving you open to attack. Fortunately, there will be a break between fights, allowing you a chance to heal. Try to save your SP for the larger battles, as you should be able to hold off one or two at a time without skills.
The next morning, Amy will be feeling better, so the two will decide to explore the area to figure out exactly where they are. Head back to the river before making your way back to the ruins. After your brief walk, you’ll be able to continue east to explore the rest of the ruins, which ends up not being much. Beyond the building you’ve been resting in is an impassable landslide. Heading back west will discover a noisy floor that Amy suggests exploring.
Searching the floor, you’ll discover a hidden staircase that leads down to a tomb. Searching the tomb, you’ll discover a sword that might be worth selling.
Reward: Golden Sword, Amy +2000XP
After searching the tomb, head back to your temporary home to find a path to the south. Continuing down, you’ll find yourself in the Wind Valley. Exploring the area, you’ll find a nearby spring that can be fished and stairs leading up a mountain.
ENCOUNTER: Mountain stairs
As you approach the mountain, you’ll discover a temple at the top. The problem is, there are an awful lot of stairs between you and the temple. You’ll need to spend a couple AP each to make it to the top, where you’ll encounter a Fox girl.
The Fox girl will summon the Fox Priestess, who will welcome you to the area and ask you a question.
CHOICE: Are Monsters Creatures that need to be destroyed or Little sisters?
The choice seems pretty obvious, given you’ve befriended a Mandrake, a Fairy, a Sprite, and three Harpies, on top of all the other Monsters who have given you their heart.
The Priestess will allow you to rest at the shrine. That night, you’ll talk to Amy and the Fox girl before exploring the shrine and talking with the Fox Priestess.
ENCOUNTER: Human/Monster Relations
Brother will chat with the Priestess about their journey before offering her some mead. She’ll quickly take to the drink and want to get to know Brother more.
Walkthrough: Fox Shrine & Cats (Day 27-29)
The next day, talk to your hosts.
STORY QUEST: Cat burglars
The Fox Priestess will mention that Mountain Cats have been stealing food and supplies from the shrine. Brother will offer to look into the situation.
After agreeing to help the Foxes out, they’ll offer you a resupply of bait, arrows, and potions, which will be available each day.
Leaving the shrine, you’ll now be able to cross the river into the Forest of Cat Spirits. As you wander the forest, you’ll run across some of the local wildlife.
COMBAT: Danger Giraffe (x2)
This will actually be a somewhat easy fight, as the Giraffes will mainly use a Charge attack. Try not to use any SP though, as there are more fights to come.
Venturing further into the forest, you’ll find an injured Cat girl lying next to a tree. As you approach, you’ll be accosted by another Cat girl.
STORY QUEST: Endangered cats
The two-tailed Cat will tell you of a creature in the forest that has practically wiped out her kind. She’s been stealing supplies from the Foxes to help her friend. Brother will offer to take care of the creature if the Cats promise to stop stealing.
Now, hunting a new danger, you’ll continue deeper into the forest, where you’ll run across another threat.
COMBAT: Mister Panda, Tyger
These foes can be a handful on their own, so together they’ll be tough, especially with your reduced party size. The Panda will go on the offensive while the Tyger will work on bleeding your party. It may be wise to have someone equipped with a First Aid or Treatment Kit, or have Brother equipped with a Monster Heart that grants some form of healing.
After the fight, you’ll emerge from the forest into a clearing where you’ll find your prey: the Chimaera. However, you’ll be in no condition to tackle the challenge now, so best to head back to the shrine to recuperate. Back at the shrine, go to bed and visit with Amy where she’ll try to properly thank you for taking care of her.
The next morning, properly rested and prepared, it’s time to take on the Chimaera.
This fight can be a bit of a challenge, as the Chimaera has a lot of status effect attacks as well as a burning attack that will sap your HP rather quickly if you aren’t careful. It will also heal itself, making you have to work twice as hard to bring it down. While fighting, try not to use all of your SP, as you’ll need it later.
As you bask in the glory of victory, you’ll be surprised to see the Chimaera revive itself before it knocks Brother down. As you ponder how to proceed, help will arrive as your friends will finally find you.
You’ll now have the chance to change your party formation before diving back into the fight.
With your entire party on your side, this fight will be a bit easier. If Amy or Brother’s health is low, you may want to swap them out for someone else before the battle.
Much to your frustration, the Chimaera will revive itself again.
As the Chimaera revives yet again, the Fox Priestess will arrive to help. She’ll tell you about the Chimaera and how it manages to heal itself. Finally, she’ll bestow a blessing on your party, replenishing your HP and SP. Now it’s time to end the Chimaera threat once and for all.
COMBAT: Chimaera, Snake Tail
Now that you know what to do, you’ll be able to focus your attacks on the Tail, which should remove the healing ability. Try to hit it quickly with one or two powerful attacks, as it will be quick to revive. Once the tail is defeated, use the same strategy you used before to beat the Chimaera.
After the fight, you’ll discuss the situation before rushing back to the injured Cat girl to heal her. Afterwards, all of your friends, both old and new, will head back to the shrine to call it a day. Talk to everyone before talking to the Priestess. Medina will offer the Priestess some mead, which Brother will protest in vain.
Loss: Brother -1000XP
Reward: Rest of party 1000XP
In the morning, your party will bid farewell to the Foxes before making the long trek home. Stopping by the forest spring, you have a chance of encountering another Seal.
OPTIONAL COMBAT: Metal Seal
Continuing along, you’ll discover that the Wind Valley is to the east of the Forest Ruins, making your journey home not quite as long as you’d thought. Back on familiar territory, you’ll have a new quest available.
Head back to the inn to discuss your next movie. The party will decide that they need to find a way to get across the river to return to the Snake Temple. They decide to talk to the Fox Priestess again to see if she knows another way.
With that settled, a familiar face will enter the inn. Amy will introduce Mana to the group, who explains that after she settled things with the lord that previously attacked Amy, she had to leave the area. She offers to join your party.
That night, talk to Aidelle about upgrading the camp again. You’ll lose another 3000G, but the Blacksmith will now have the best gear and you’ll unlock an encounter in camp.
Walkthrough: Mountains & Valleys (Day 30-32)
DAILY QUESTS: Winter Fiend (2)
ENCOUNTER: A supposed hero
After the camp has been upgraded, you’ll meet a new face in the center of camp: the hero Marion. He’ll explain that he is an associate of Aegis and that two ruffians told him of someone collecting Monsters. When he discovers Flora, he’ll go into a rage and try to attack. Brother and Aegis will defend her.
Marion will have some staggering attacks and a pretty solid defense, but Aegis’s Counter skill pairs well with Brother’s strong attacks to make this a fairly simple fight.
Marion will flee and Aegis will apologize, with the party assuring her there’s nothing to apologize for.
Afterwards, take Mana to all of the stone monuments you’ve discovered so far (Abundant Forest, Sunny Forest, Azure Sea), which she will translate. Eventually, the party will mention the Goetia they found in the Stone Cathedral, which Mana will ask to borrow. Next, head to the Fox Priestess to talk to her about reaching the Snake Temple, leading you to the Wind Valley’s northern passage. Heading there, you will be unable to pass due to a supernaturally strong wind. Mana has a plan, but asks Brother to talk to her later about it.
With nothing else to do, it’s time to check out the Winter Fiend quest. To find it, you’ll need to make your way to the top of Mount Starfall. However, your party will not be able make the climb without proper winter gear. You’ll need to equip your active party with Fur Coats, available at the Blacksmith shop, to be able to make it to the top.
COMBAT: Winter Fiend (x1), Orange of Infinity (x2)
This fight actually isn’t too difficult when you compare it to some of your other recent battles. The Oranges will do more damage, but have minimal health. The Winter Fiend actually has a chance to boost your party’s stats, giving a slight bump to HP and SP.
After the fight, you will unlock one final quest.
Before calling it a day, go ahead and take the new quest, which has you hunt down the New Year Demon, who has been spotted at the Azure Sea. It may be wise to rest at the Harpy house or in the Forest Ruins well before heading there.
At the Azure Sea, head back into the cave to face this new threat.
This fight can actually be pretty hard if you aren’t prepared. The Demon will hit you with fire, traps, and status effects, which are all things you should have encountered before. Something new is a skill called Name Change, that will essentially restart the fight every time it looks like you’ve defeated the Demon. The best counter to this is to have Mana in your party. She can use Dispel to cancel the Dummy status on the Demon, allowing you to end her before she can revive again.
Once finished, head back to the inn to call it a day.
STORY QUEST: Rumors of a magic sword
Aidelle will mention that the exploration team found some documents at the Forest Ruins that suggest that there may be a magic sword hidden somewhere in the ruins.
ENCOUNTER: An enchanting encounter
That night, go visit Mana, who will tell you about a ritual that may end the angry wind in the Wind Valley, but she’ll need Brother’s help in obtaining a vital ingredient.
The next morning, head back to the Wind Valley. Before trying to head north, return to the Forgotten Ruins where Brother and Amy were stranded earlier. When you reach the ruins, you’ll find a familiar face with an unfamiliar weapon.
Going into this fight, you’ll know that there’s something wrong with the Dragon girl. Her HP won’t be any better, but her fighting ability has grown at an abnormal rate. She’ll manage to deal hefty damage to your party with her new sword, but you should still be able to take her out with a couple strong attacks. Try to save your SP.
Once you’ve neutralized the threat, Kodachi will pick up the dropped sword, only to discover that the sword is cursed.
Kodachi, possessed by the sword, will utilize a lot of the same attacks that the Dragon just used, along with a few of her normal skills. Fortunately, her HP will be a bit lower than the previous fight. You should be able to resolve the situation with a couple more strong attacks.
After the fight, Mana reveals that the curse has been broken on the sword. The party will head back to the inn to recuperate.
ENCOUNTER: Kodachi’s gratitude
As everyone goes to bed, Brother will want to check on Kodachi. In her room, she’ll thank you for saving her and admit that you are a skilled fighter.
Now, it’s time to head back to the Wind Valley. Arriving at the narrow mountain pass, Mana will produce the Incense Burner. She’ll activate the ritual and your party will be transported to…somewhere else.
Exploring the round room, you’ll encounter a variety of Mold and Rust.
COMBAT: Stubborn Mold (x2)
The first fight you enter will be against some Mold. Before entering the fight, equip your party with the Cleaning Spray to make quick work of this battle.
There will be a lot of choices as far as combat is concerned, but you should continue moving towards the middle of the room, where you’ll next encounter Rust.
The Cleaning Spray will not work for this fight. Try to spare your SP for this fight, though it shouldn’t be a difficult challenge if you keep the pressure on the enemy.
You’ll now be able to enter the center of the room, where you find the missing Wind Sprite. Amy will discover that the room is sapping everyone’s strength, so you’ll need to hurry if you’re going to escape.
COMBAT: Cursed Magic Stone
The Stone will not put up much resistance, outside of continually sapping the strength of your party, but it has a high amount of HP, meaning you should focus your strongest attacks on the Stone.
Once you’ve shattered the Stone, the party will be transported back to the Wind Valley, where they meet Sylph the Wind Sprite. She’ll thank you for your help and clear the path north for you. Continuing along, you’ll discover that the Wind Valley leads you to the other side of the river in the Lost Capital.
COMBAT: Dancing Statue (x2)
This will be a tough fight. You’ll probably want to rest before attempting it. The Statues will use fire attacks, earth attacks and repeatedly heal. A good strategy is to equip Aegis and Amy. Both have skills that will deal massive damage to the enemy when they attack your party. Also make sure Brother has the Harpy and Grimoire Hearts equipped, allowing him to deal massive damage and steal SP when he gets low.
After finishing the fight, you’ll now be able to return to the Snake Temple, but it would be best to call it a day for now.
Walkthrough: Snake Temple (Day 33+)
In the morning, head back to the Snake Temple and the challenges that lie within. As you reach the top of the steps, your party will look out over the land and Mana will tell you a story about how the land came to be the way it is. The story about a wish.
Placing the Moon Gem into the altar will cause a secret section of the temple to open, revealing a door leading inside to a place called the Abyss. Venturing into the room will cause a bell to ring and reveal a door hidden under the stairs behind you. Inside, you’ll find the Reaper Ghost who issues a warning before attacking.
Having faced her before, you should be prepared for the Reaper’s attacks. Utilize the same strategy as before, using Aegis to shield and counter the attacks, while the rest of your party hits the Reaper for massive damage.
After dispatching the Reaper once again, you should be prepared to continue on into the Abyss.
Further ahead, in a narrow round room, you’ll find the old king of the ruins you are exploring, who appears to be a little worse for wear.
This will be a tough fight. The King will have several rough fire attacks, as well as some skills that allow him to steal your HP or SP. He can also make himself immortal. Mana and Aegis will be invaluable in this fight. Mana can counter the immortality with Dispel and Aegis can use Sanctuary to cut down on the magic damage. Brother should focus on trying to hit the King early in the fight, as his SP will be drained pretty quick once the King starts using Gathering Magic.
Reward: Royal Crown, Royal Scepter
Once the Fallen King has fallen again, you’ll be able to continue ahead into a massive library.
NOTE: Entering the library will trigger the end of the story. Before advancing, make sure you have done any side tasks you wish to do and unlocked any CG you wish to gather. Also make sure you’re entering with full stats and the best equipment you can gather.
There’s no deadline on which day you finish the story, so take as much time as you need before continuing ahead.
Venturing into the library will have you meet the Great Key Librarian. She will reveal to your party the story of what happened to the king and the capital. She will also tell you her purpose: to fulfill a single wish for whosoever should ask. She will present you with one final choice.
CHOICE: Do you have a wish or not?
Have a wish
Don’t have one
Making a wish for more little sisters will end up wiping out the entire world population, giving you the bad ending.
Choosing to not make a wish will anger the librarian, who will be forced to attack you.
COMBAT: Great Key Librarian
This will be a very challenging fight. You should consider using Brother, Aegis, and Mana for this fight, with one of them carrying a Treatment Kit. Aegis can shield the party with her Counter skill while Mana uses Dispel and other skills to keep the Librarian busy. With Brother, do not try fighting at the start, but instead immediately use Boundary Break to increase Brother’s stat capability. This has the negative effect of greatly lowering his HP and SP, but he’ll regain these over the course of a few turns. Once his SP has reached its new peak, use the Unbound Brother Attack, which deals a massive enough amount of damage to hopefully end the fight.
With the battle over, the Librarian will remember her life before becoming the librarian, as a girl named Alice. She’ll also remember the wish that started the whole story, leading to this moment. Brother will offer to take her from that place as his little sister.
Walkthrough: Random Encounters
In addition to the story and guild quests that you experience on your journey through Sister Travel, you will also run into several events and encounters that seem to be somewhat random in their occurrence. These occurrences will be listed below, with a brief description of the event and when it may be triggered, as well as any potential rewards that may come to the player.
Location: Blessed Fruit Tree (Sunny Forest, Animal Path)
Availability: After discovering Blessed Fruit Tree
When picking apples at either Blessed Fruit tree, there’s a chance you’ll end up grabbing something that isn’t an apple, resulting in a fight.
Location: Animal Path (Abundant Forest)
Availability: After discovering Animal Path
While wandering the Animal Path, there’s a chance that you’ll encounter a random creature. This chance is reduced once Amy joins your party, as she’ll be able to help navigate the path.
Monsters: Black Hog, Boar, Wild Chicow
Location: Azure Sea, Wind Valley
Availability: After defeating the Water Dragon
While still waiting for the excavation team to clear the Forest Ruins, your party will decide to go fishing, unlocking the ability to fish at suitable locations. While fishing, you have a random chance of catching a Monster instead of a fish.
Monsters: Lorelei, Mermaid, Mermaid Queen, Siren
Availability: After upgrading inn
Each night, when choosing to go to bed, there’s a chance one of your party members will be using the open air bath, allowing Brother a chance to peep on them.
Reward: Aegis CG2, Amy CG1, Kodachi CG5, Mana CG2, Medina CG8, Melody CG1
Availability: During Seal Invasion
When Kodachi discovers the Seal invasion, she’ll head back to the inn to warn everyone. There’s a chance of a single Seal attacking her along the way.
Availability: After clearing Seal’s Den
When crossing the river towards the Forest Ruins, there’s a chance that one of your party members will fall in and be washed down the river to a nearby junk pile. Searching the pile, you’ll find some useful loot. Should you not fall in, you can always try the crossing again until you do.
Reward: 100G, Broader Sword
Walkthrough: Special Encounters
Throughout the game, there will also be special events and encounters that may not directly affect the plot, but can be easily missed. These occurrences will be listed below, with a brief description of the event and when it may be triggered, as well as any potential rewards that may come to the player.
Location: Yard of 1000 Pillars
Availability: After discovering Yard of 1000 Pillars
While exploring the Yard of 1000 Pillars, you can try using the Silver Key on the pillar showing Darkness and Animal. This causes an encounter with the Beast of Massacre, who has the highest HP in the game. There’s no real purpose to try this fight unless you want the challenge. It’s recommended to wait until you have Brother’s Unbound Attack and Boundary Break skills before even attempting this one.
Monsters: Beast of Massacre
Availability: After continuing after first loss
At some point after your party suffers their first loss, if you choose to continue rather than load from a previous save, you’ll find Kodachi practicing in the garden. Brother will give her some pointers and the two will develop one or two new skills for Kodachi.
Reward: Limit Break and Triple Attack (if choosing to Play to Strengths), Flash Blade (if choosing Critical Blow), Kodachi CG4
Availability: After second camp upgrade
Departing the inn, your party will meet Marion, a legendary hero and apparent mentor to Aegis. He was tipped off by a couple thugs that someone was housing Monsters and is here to eradicate them. Brother and Aegis will fight him as the rest of the party watches. After sending him packing, Brother will start working with Aegis to train her at night.
Reward: Cyclone Attack (if choosing Go on Offensive), Assault Counter (if choosing Stay on Defensive), Aegis CG3, CG4, CG5
Availability: After equipping Bear Head, Bear Claws, Bear Suit
While exploring the Forest Ruins, near the Well, Medina will announce that she doesn’t feel well before transforming into a bear herself.
Reward: Medina becomes more ursine, Medina’s AP +1
Location: Forest Spring (Wind Valley)
Availability: After defeating Chimaera
As your party departs the Fox Shrine to return to camp, you can stop to fish in the Forest Spring, which causes a chance encounter with the Metal Slime.
Availability: After Mana’s ritual
While trapped inside the Incense Burner, you’ll have multiple opportunities to fight Mold and Rust inside. There’s no real benefit to doing this as they don’t drop anything and you’ll just burn through your HP, SP, and AP.
Monsters: Black Rust, Stubborn Mold
Location: East Wind Plateau
Availability: Before defeating Roc
Climbing any of the hills and wandering any of the open meadows on the East Wind Plateau will result in a surprise attack by the Roc. With the possible exception of Amy’s bow, none of your attacks will deal any significant damage to the Roc, so you’ll mostly have to just wait out the combat, which ends in about 14 turns.
Location: Yard of 1000 Pillars
Availability: Before solving the statue puzzles
Exploring the Yard of 1000 Pillars, you’ll find a room with three statues, each holding an item. If you should try to take one of these items, the Winged Serpent statue will attack. This fight is nearly impossible and actually shouldn’t be won, as it can break the game if you do so. You’ll have to fight the statue once to advance the story, but you can try as many times as you like.
Walkthrough: Daily Activities
As you progress through the story, you will meet more characters and discover more places that have repeatable activities. During the full walkthrough section of this guide, you’ll learn when these activities should become available. Once you discover these activities, it is suggested that you perform as many of these activities as you can every day, as it will help you level up your characters, earn gold, and unlock equipment and CG.
Apple Picking
Location: Blessed Fruit (Sunny Forest); Blessed Fruit (Animal Path, Abundant Forest)
As you explore the map, you will discover apple trees that can be harvested for fruit. Each day and for each tree, you will have a varying number of chances to pick apples. Most of the apples can be used to restore HP, SP, or AP, but can also be traded with a character at camp for money. While searching for apples, you’ll have a chance to find a Fairy or a Sprite.

SECTION III – APPENDIX
Tips & Tricks
As you progress through the game, you are going to discover which party formation, which equipment load out, which skills, and which strategies work best for you. This guide cannot serve as a substitute for the knowledge you will gain from trial and error, but it can offer up some tips and tricks that should be considered.
- Later in the story, Brother will unlock the Unbound Brother Attack skill, which requires an unobtainable 400 SP to use. However, if you first use the Limit Break skill, this will increase the maximum SP he has, which should be enough to cast the skill. The trade off is that his HP and SP will drop dangerously low and slowly recover over several turns. If you can keep your party alive until his SP maxes out, the Unbound Brother Attack is the most powerful attack in the game and is devastating on anything you hit it with. Done correctly, you can one-shot kill some late level bosses.
- Aegis can unlock a skill called Assault Counter that renders her on defense, attacking anyone who targets her. Unfortunately, this also includes allies. Be very careful using this skill, as you will be unable to heal her without potentially killing your party healer in the process.
- Mana’s Dispell skill can be quite devastating for enemies, as it considerably hurts their ability to use skills. If you find yourself stuck on a particular encounter where your opponent continually heals or revives itself, consider swapping her into your party to see if that makes a difference.

Secrets & Mysteries
While poking around inside the game files for this guide, I ran across some content that suggests that there were characters, quests, and areas that for various reasons didn’t make it into the final game. It appears that some may have been intended for some sort of expansion, while others were simply repurposed or cut.
Characters
Image
Name
Class
Explanation
Alice
Unknown
If you’ve completed the game, you may recognize Alice. Once you’ve defeated the Librarian, she will transform to Alice. It appears that as a potential continuation of the story, Alice would have been added to the party. While there is no CG for this character, the sprites suggest that she would have been romanceable much like the rest of the party.
Grace
Paladin
Character sprites in the game files suggested that there was going to be a female paladin character that could also join the party. Like Alice above, she had sprites suggesting that she would also be romanceable, though she also had no CG. The name Grace is an assumption, since there is a name tag for a character named Grace also in the files. Unlike Alice, it appears that Grace was simply cut from the game, with her sprite being reused for the hero Marion.
Enemies
In addition to some new characters, there appear to be a few new enemies, or alternate art for enemies that never made it into the game. Their names, skills, and encounter location can only be speculated.
Quests
Black Bird
4000G
It’s not clear what kind of bird this is, but it has no sprite in the game. Given the size of the reward, the Roc battle may have originally been a quest as opposed to just an encounter. There’s a second Roc sprite that’s completely blank, which may support this theory. Alternately, it could be intended for the Beast of Massacre. Given the size of the reward, it was definitely would be for a hard fight.
Slime
300G
You actually run across Slimes as you progress through the story, but it looks like at one time, you would have received a quest to take care of the slime. Perhaps this would have been a repeatable quest in either some of the water source areas that don’t appear to serve a purpose, or in the swamp area that is never explorable.
Maps
The first Swamp map suggests that at one point, the swamp would have been an explorable area in the game. Given some of the water based enemy sprites that don’t appear to be used in the game, this seems likely. It may have even tied into the Slime quest that was removed.
The second Swamp map appears to be an enhanced version of the first map, with a village added. Nothing in the files seems to suggest what would have lived there.
The Palace looks like it may have been an alternate map for the Abyss, as it features a small chamber much like the Bell room and appears to end in a Library.
It’s hard to place where the Dungeon may have been located or if it was alternate take on one of the underground maps explored through the game. It actually bears a resemblance to the northern part of the Windy Valley map, suggesting there may have been a different route from the Windy Valley to the Lost Capital.
