Overview
In this guild I will be showing you who are your true friends in Smite. You will meet a lot of people who will come and go, but than you start to realize that some of them don’t want to play with you anymore after a few bad games of loosing. Well I’m here to teach you how to pick and choose GOOD friends instead of Good players. There’s a difference, maybe you suck at the game like me and need someone to support you but not a lot of people see it that way, many people will think you suck and don’t want to play with you anymore.
Finding Good Reliable Friends
Finding good reliable friends is harder than you think in Smite. One moment they can be your friend the next they never want to play with you again because one game you lost or multiple games you keep loosing.
The steps in finding good reliable friends:
STEP:1– They must be OK with loosing. Yes, no one wants to be OK or fine with loosing but trust me you can’t win every game. Have fun, you don’t want an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on your team who keeps blaming you or your other friends for loosing.
STEP:2– They MUST and I cannot empathize this enough they MUST LISTEN to YOU and EACH OTHER on whatever command you type to them. No one and I mean no one wants someone who saids “Ultimate is ready!” and your back at the base going “WAIT!!!” but they start the team fight without you and your like… (are you serious?) than suddenly they blame you for loosing. Whenever I play Guardian and have to go back to base to heal or buy items I always say “BE CAREFUL” but of course no one does and wants to immediately start a team fight without you as the Guardian… my struggle… I even tell my team to retreat but guess what? they don’t listen… sure stay there with less than half health and no mana. That’s fine. <— No it’s not (I’m being sarcastic).
STEP:3– Letting everyone have a turn! Look I know this seems out of the blue but really, I for one who plays Guardian extensively and a really good one at that, by GOOD I mean not getting kills but instead saving your life and dying for you instead. Credit that I have never received from my teammates. Doesn’t always want to play the Guardian or tank for oh I dunno 10 games in a row, I’d like to have a turn in being another role. Please do not lock in your roles! Let others have a turn too! They’re your friends who understand you love playing that role but STILL share! Also you realize that a bad team composition that doesn’t work well together is just an immediate lost right? I mean it’s gonna be super hard as Scylla to use her ability CRUSH to kill you when you have Tyr rolling them away with his ability… Not to mention other team compositions that are horrible together. Also you have to realize that no matter how good you are at a GOD/GODDESS others on your team may have to compromise to either a GOD/GODDESS they’re decent or bad at to try and work with yours but most of the time they don’t care and want to play their own character they’re good at and so you end up loosing.
STEP:4- Friends who are good people but bad at playing the game, look it’s inevitable to turn into people like these, but just know they’re trying their best! Give them a lot of love and support and eventually they’ll find a character they’re good/decent at! I remember when I first started out, I sucked at the game and no one wanted to play with me but than a team saw my struggle and the potential I had and invited me to their team! These people I played with are extremely GOOD and by GOOD I mean doesn’t get upset I died 13 times in the Arena, they still carried me to victory! They still invite me to play with them! Even though every game I die a lot! I know I’m just a burden to them but they don’t care! They type in the chat “HAVE FUN!” and I do! So even if your down on your luck you’ll get better with a little help! So don’t give up!
STEP:5– This is the most important step, because you must find out if your friend DC on you or likes to RAGE QUIT and blame others. These people are bad, they don’t care about you they only care about winning so be careful of friending these kind of people because they aren’t really your friends. “oh I just couldn’t take that round man, re-invite me.” they will say, well I don’t know if you wanna loose again due to them disconnecting in their fit of rage. Back in your mind you would think “well actually we could’ve won that round if you stayed or helped.” but of course you can’t say that to them because they’ll make up a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuse. AFK friends are bad too, so stay away from them, they pretend they have to do something but in actuality they’re waiting for you to do all the work while they sit there and watch YouTube on their phones, tablets or just opened another screen.
