Some tips for barricading

Overview

In this guide, ill tell you some tips for barricading in your little bunker hunker! or you could try actually shooting zombies for once. but who does that?

“How do I barricade?”

Barricading is fairly easy. press h and then right click on the object.

If you’re going to use boards….

Boards are fairly easy to use and are usefull in a pinch. however, your board placement doesn’t want to look like that –

your barricade wants to look like this.

If you’re going to use diagonal boards, only use them if you have extra and have space. If not stick to the simple straight across or up and down.

By the way, the board isn’t more weak if its smaller, so dont be afraid to use the smaller board!

Barricading with props

Barricading with props is fun and frusterating. I will go over 3 types of props.

Heavy: Heavy props are frusterating to get to said doorway / window / hatch – but when you do the payoff is great. these props are good for when you have time and a friend. they buy you more time and are sometimes the differance between life and death.

Light: Light props are great for a temporary barricade or for adding on more to your massive junk pile infront of the that one doorway. they can buy you prescious time to break yourself out of a house, or be absolutely useless. use them proped up diagonally against the door if you dont have any heavy props.

Bedframes and other glitchy items: Items sutch as chairs and smaller things are usefull in a hallway. the physics are sort of weird and its hard for them zombies to get through, there is also another glitch in where you put a bedframe into the doorframe – and it is unopenable.
