Hello!I’m working on a comprehensive guide to creating mods in Songs of Syx. It starts with a short and simple guide to creating a race based on the Dondorians to familiarise you with Songs of Syx’ file structure and goes on to explain each moddable file, the tags used in them, and what those tags do. I hope this will help people hoping to make mods for Songs of Syx get a head start and skip much of the trial and error process. This handbook is an in-progress work and it is quite extensive, so I’ll link to the latest version here since it’s far too large to post here and is only going to get larger as time goes on. The link in this guide will be updated to point to the most recent version of the handbook as more files are documented.Many thanks to Jake for making this possible and for creating an amazing game, he’s a real nice dude.
