A list of cheat codes and how to unlock all medals in Sonic Mania Plus
Getting to the Level Select Screen
To get to Sonic Mania’s Level Select screen, you must first beat the game and enable Debug Mode in the game options. Next, start your game and go to Mania Mode. Scroll to the No Save and select it while holding Q. If done correctly, you will be brought to the Level Select screen.
Codes and Descriptions
To be able to punch the codes in press the Up or Down keys until the Sound Test bar is highlighted. Press the Left and Right keys to scroll through the Sound Test and press A to insert the codes.
Codes & Descriptions:
1 9 7 9 0 8 1 1 – “Stealth’s Code” Changes all Animals into Squirrels.
4 1 2 6 – All Emeralds
1 9 9 2 1 1 2 4 – Infinite Continues
2 0 1 8 0 6 2 3 – Force Encore Mode
1 9 8 9 0 5 0 1 – “Hunter’s Code” Nothing / All Medals *See Section Below For Details*
2 0 1 7 0 8 1 5 – Egg Reverie flying in any levels as Super.
9 0 0 1 – Max Control For Sonic (Dropdash, Super Peel Out, Insta-Shield)
6 2 1 4 – Disable Super Music
*At the moment these are all the currently known codes and their functions, there maybe more to be discovered and/or added in the future*
Unlocking All Unlockables
Step 1: On the Title Screen, quickly input the old Sonic 3 Level Select code: up, up, down, down, up(x4)
Step 2: Go to the Level Select screen and input Stealth’s Code first and Hunter’s Code second. If entering Hunter’s code and you hear a ring sound effect you’ve failed.
Step 3: Profit. If done correctly, all medals/Extras will be unlocked for you.
