Overview
A quick little guide that may help fix the audio stuttering/tearing.
The Problem
Since I have been playing this game I and many others have been experiencing weird audio stutters most likely due to the company trying to make audio occlusion and certain other factors. It can get excessively frustrating when all you can hear is clicking in game as every uses their ultimate and makes multiple sounds overlay each other. The Fix
I am not sure if this works on everybody’s game/computer but it worked for me so I thought I would let everyone know.
- 1. Make sure your computer is on “High Performance”
- 2. Launch Paladins
- 3. Launch Task Manager
- 4. Select the “Details” tab and search for “Paladins.exe”
- 5. Right click, “Set Priority” and choose “Realtime”
- 6. A box may come up saying doing so can cause problems, just hit okay and then alt-tab back into Paladins and it should work!
Final Words
As of what I know right now you will have to do this everytime you launch Paladins but it has worked everytime for me and I hope it does for you all. If you have any ways you know of fixing this, leave them below. Have fun!
