Part I: Planetfall

Part I sees you enter the battle on Graia as Brother-Captain Titus of the Ultramarines. You meet with the remaining Imperial Guard elements on the ground, co-ordinate a strike on an ork-held planetary defence gun, and make your way to Titan Manufactorum Ajakis.

Chapter 1: Planetfall

Captain Titus boards and disables an Ork Krooza belonging to Warboss Grimskull.
There are no Servo-Skulls to be found in Chapter 1.

Chapter 2: Against All Odds

Captain Titus finds the remaining Imperial Guardsmen in the area.

  • Workshift Log 1/5 – After the first mob of gretchin, but before entering the chapel, turn right and shoot your way past the red Ork barrier. The Servo-Skull is near a sandbagged emplacement.

    Vox: Workers, assemble.
Lilith: Caleb, there you are! The Shiring Brothers are saying we’re under attack!
Caleb: The Brothers are idiots, Lilith.
Lilith: They saw Roks in the sky.
    Caleb: Xenos, here? Damned unlikely.

  • Guardsman’s Journal 1/5 – After meeting with Leandros and fighting off the Ork ambush, the Servo-Skull will be hovering above a a set of sandbags just before entering the trenches.

Thomas: Personal message cache, Guardsman Thomas Alexander. Must be winter back home. No snow here, that’s for certain. We’ve been diverted to a Forge World under Ork attack. The defenders are all dead, the Orks are killing everyone on the planet, and we’re the only Imperial Guard in the sector. The fleet’s on the way — but they’re a couple weeks out. We’re in for a hard fight.

  • Medicae Log 1/5 – After fighting off the Orks from the Digga transports, look inside the bunker at the left-turn for the Servo-Skull.

Cassia: — not in the disease ward, Dominus. What’s wrong with her?
Dominus: Ork projectile to the leg, Magos Cassia.
Cassia: Amputations are down the hall.
Dominus: Very well, I shall prepare for the implant grafting —
Cassia: No implants. Just get rid of her leg and stich her up fast. We’re at war —

  • Lt. Mira’s Log 1/5 – After picking up the Stalker Bolter there will be an indoors area through an Ork archway. Turn left just after the second hole in the ceiling and look for the Servo-Skull at the end.

Officer: — just get the ship out of orbit, pilot. Lieutenant Mira! The Orks cut off our reinforcements.
Mira: Damn it — I suggest we move the unit to a more defensible position, sir.
Officer: Do it. And make sure —

  • Guardsman’s Journal 2/5 – Just after leaving the building containing the previous Servo-Skull, there will be a number of explosive barrels and a bunker on the left. Look inside for the Servo-Skull.

Thomas: Personal message, Guardsman Alexander. I’ll be quick. The Orks are beating us bad. We’re completely outnumbered — every time you kill one of the bastards, feels like a dozen take their place. And my mate Gareth. An Ork chopped his leg off and he bled out — nothing I could do. The officers are all dead. A second lieutenant’s taken over. She’s keeping us focused — wait — we’re moving out. More soon.

Chapter 3: Belly Of The Beast

Titus enters and destroys an air defence gun held by Orks.

  • Duty Log 1/5 – In the first room after exiting the tunnel, a breach along the right-hand wall allows access to a room containing the servo-skull behind a group of crates.

Petronius: Transmechanic Second Class Petronius, entering duty log 31127. Communications console functioning: normal. Issues of note: one. I detected a signal that should not have been there, but Transmechanic First Class Aleric refused to belive me. Yes, I’ve made mistakes before. That pulsar I thought was a Tau warship. Missing the signal from the Fabricator General’s transport. But I am not wrong every time! There’s something approaching from the far side of the sun. I know it.

  • Lt. Mira’s Log 2/5 – After taking the first lift down to shell storage, there is a crate at the back of the room against a balcony railing. The Servo-Skull floats above it.

Mira: — not enough cover — Get down, get down!
    Captain: <agonizing scream>
Mira: Hold on, Captain! Get me a medi-pack!

Chapter 4: Titans Of Graia

Titus makes his way to the Titan Manufactorum.

  • Medicae Log 2/5 – At the end of the first Ork-infested train platform, there is a set of stairs leading up to a bridge. Turn left at the top of those stairs, and follow the corridor to a balcony with the servo-skull.

Dominus: — has a deep wound to the arm. Signs of blood poisoning.
Cassia: That’s from an Ork Choppa. We can’t stop him going septic. Make him comfortable and move on.
Dominus: You’ve seen these kinds of wounds before?
Cassia: Unfortunately, yes — in my first Ork invasion, which I hoped would be my last. Yet, here I am again. Right, who’s next —

Part II: The Inquisitor

In Part II, Titus discovers an Inquisitor on the planet and hastens to find him.

Chapter 5: The Inquisitor

The great Titan Manufactorm shelters many weapons, and the Orks want them all.

  • Guardsman’s Journal 3/5 – After seeing the massive crane and slaughtering the first group of squabbling Orks in the cargo area, move towards the ramp up but turn right instead of left and continue into the small grotto.
  • Encrypted Report: Inquisitor Drogan 1/5 – This skull is almost immediately after finding the Power Axe and taking the lift down with Corporal Antioch. It hovers just above a small pile of crates in the long passage littered with resting guardsmen.

Chapter 6: Lair Of Giants

Locate Inquisitor Drogan within the massive Titan Manufactorum — before the Orks do.

  • Workshift Log 2/5 – Once Leandros uses the Augr Station to locate Inquisitor Drogan and you move around a corner to face down a long, wide walkway, look on the left for a downwards ramp to a small platform with the servo-skull sitting on it.

Lilith: — the Orks have reached the Western territories. That’s close, Caleb.
Caleb: Not when all the planetary defences — and the Skitarii — stand between us and them.
Lilith: First you don’t believe there’s an invasion, and now you’re not worried about it at all.
Caleb: Lilith, we have a far better chance of being killed on the assembly line than by a far-away Ork.
Vox: Workers, take your stations. Be productive, be dutiful —

  • Inquisitor Report 2/5
Drogan: Transmission to Inquisitor Lord Sharpe — My Lord, the facility is operational ahead of schedule, thanks to the techpriests. I’ve already begun my work to create a stable energy matrix. Harnessing these… unorthodox… energies is proving more promising than I could have dreamed…

Chapter 7: Heart of Darkness

Fight your way from the depths of the Forge World to rejoin your allies.

Chapter 8: Whispers of the Dead

Reunite with Inquisitor Drogan in the shattered remains of the Forge World’s habitation centers

      Part III: The Weapon

      Chapter 9: The Weapon

Fight your way to the Inquisitor’s research laboratory.

        Chapter 10: House of Secrets

Enter Inquisitor Drogan’s research facility and activate his secret weapon.

Chapter 11: Point of No Return

Fire the Psychic Scourge to destroy the Ork invaders.

Part IV: Dying Of The Light

Chapter 12: Dying of the Light

The Forces of Chaos have invaded the Forge World. You must stop them.

Chapter 13: Wake the Sleeping Giant

Bring the mighty Titan Invictus into the battle against chaos.

                Chapter 14: Victory and Sacrifice

You have stopped an invasion, but must still deal with the Chaos forces already here.
