Speedrun Achievements Guide [Work in Progress]

Overview

Video tutorials on how to do each of the speedrun achievements, with tips included. Guide will be updated as I get the speedrun achievements.

New York Minute

New York Minute
Unlock “Party’s Over,” “Rush Hour,” and “Light’s Out”

For this achievement, you simply need to finish the Cabin, Broadway and Chinatown speedruns. The Junction speedrun is not required to achieve this achievement. This achievement may not unlock simultaneously with the last speedrun you complete. You may have to join another match before the achievement pops.

Cabin Speedrun (Party’s Over)

Party’s Over
Complete Cabin in 5.5 minutes or less

To unlock this achievement, the map nmo_cabin (or Cabin as it is referred to) needs to be completed in 5 minutes and 30 seconds.

I recommend doing this achievement solo, as the more players there are the bigger the opportunity for messing up and having to restart. A video guide on how to complete the map is shown below. (Excuse my friends, they were talking about Realm of the Mad God throughout the video)

Broadway Speedrun (Light’s Out)

Complete Broadway in 5.5 minutes or less

To unlock this achievement, the map nmo_broadway (or Broadway as it is referred to) needs to be completed in 5 minutes and 30 seconds.

The code that needs to be entered to gain access to the manager’s office is written on the note on the desk at the bottom of the stairs. There is some sort of magnifying glass above it.

I have found that the apartment/sprinkler objective-set is the fastest to complete. Note you have to have gained access to the manager’s office by the 3:30 mark in order to leave the station before 5.5 minutes. This is because the train takes 1 minute from the point at which it arrives to the point that it leaves, and the map is only completed about 10 seconds later.

Chinatown Speedrun (Rush Hour)

Rush Hour
Complete Chinatown in 10 minutes or less

To unlock this achievement, the map nmo_chinatown (or Chinatown as it is referred to) needs to be completed in 10 minutes.

Junction Speedrun (Troll Toll)

Troll Toll
Complete Junction in 17 minutes or less

To unlock this achievement, the map nmo_junction (or Junction as it is referred to) needs to be completed in 17 minutes.
