Overview
This is the story of Spooky the ghost you see in the beginning (Warning SPOILERS (duh))

We all know that cute ghost Spooky, you see her in the beginning and she tells you to go deep into her mansion through 1000 rooms, I was searching the files and saw strange stuff, one was an image of five images, and a message at the end, strange, right? well unfortunately its unreadable because… well its divided into four images taking out some small parts, just enough to make it unreadable, here’s the images not complete

Her story
In the end of the game we see that Spooky was building an army of ghosts, and said “no longer will we be cute or adorable,” it’s strange how she made a army and wanted them to be scary, but why? Spooky wants to be scary, in the rooms you meet Spooky you aren’t like “OH GOD NOOOOO! HEEEEEEEEEEELP NOW.” more like “yaaa it the cute ghost, nothing to be afraid of.” and yet you’re in a mansion full of monster meant to scare you. Spooky wants to be scary.

As you can see she’s disappointed, because she’s not scary, no one get it because “people don’t read poe anymore” in other words no one knows what her costume is or is remotely scared by it.
be prepared for this next one it’s a big one
How sad, two pieces of candy (very, very sad), fake blood, and fireworks at least I think thats fireworks. I would assume that she didn’t get much candy so she wants to scare someone, and from the looks off it she’s going to do it with blood and a big boom, this brings us to the last two images, and you’ll know right away what they are.
In that man’s eye, I see fear and a big bloody mess, and on the ground I see a bullet shell, and it means Spooky scared someone who was suffering from PTSD. all she wanted was to scare him, and she died because of it.
even though she died, she was happy, because she finally scared someone, and this tragic death made her become a ghost (wow I was kind of close there), but the story is still not over, that’s before she turned to a ghost I found something after that.
Where does a dying person go to not die? Where do people die a lot too? Where are the doctors? at the Hospital of course, Spooky didn’t die on the streets but in a hospital, like a lot of others. I found her room, and talked to her, not Spooky, but the child who used to be Spooky near the end, here’s what she said, but here’s the note that I saw that told me her story.
And here’s that little angel, but it’s not an angel anymore in that costume.
Also Spooky doesn’t know this is the hospital she died in. the place her body was stored, either that, or she is lying probably lying.

This must be why spooky is a ghost, because her father kept trying to bring her back, but (from the sound of it, at least) spooky’s father brought her back, but didn’t let her go, and now it must be that spooky wants you to turn off the device off because it is the place that needs to be shut down.
The end
So now we know Spooky’s story, a poor little girl who just wanted to be scary, but wasn’t and was killed accidently after succeeding to scare.

As of recent
Well seeing as this got popular I’d like to point out a few things, the first being that I made this guide when I was much younger so the writing is trash but the point gets across. But also I was pretty close to right with my predictions so that’s great, if anyone is confused about why this guide was made, because of the recent DLC that’s because I made this before the DLC and no one knew the story.
