The key is to instantly use the food to make a baby and then send all your three tribesmen to gather food immediately. You want to get the maximum amount of tribal people, and continue to get 60 food. Don’t go over 70. If you’re going for the peaceful route, buy the socialization building and the maximum socialisation stat in the editor. When you’re ready, make the brown tribe friendly. But do NOT ally them. Now, go back and get over 70 food. All the tribes will spawn. You want to instantly pause the game and send gifts to all tribes that hate you. Then go to one of the tribes with all of your tribal members having all the socialization tools, make them friendly, but don’t ally them. Then move onto the next tribe, do the same thing, and then the next one.
The key is, friendly tribes send you gifts and never attack. Their relations never decrease, and you don’t ‘upgrade’. Ironically, having only 6 members is the easiest, as you don’t have to quickly get resources after the 3 tribes spawn. They will only want you to play one socialization tool; The one you have, and so; It is a lot easier. Now go back to your tribe, feed your people and gather food. When you’re ready, start allying the tribes.
When the final tribe pops up, get the rest of the socialization buildings, gift them, and get the maximum socialization stat. Then just ally them and the final tribe that is friendly. There you go.
Just beat Tribe on hard today, had to keep throwing gifts at a couple of villages to deaggro them while I got enough food to expand up to the level where I could ally them.

For an offensive play, you basically want to stay on the defensive and attack tribes right after they attack you.
First of all, always fill up your tribe first. Don’t go conquer anyone until you have everything you can buy at every stage.
Then, observe the attack pattern of the tribes. The attacks are on a timer, so they will attack in a fixed order every time. Figure out after which tribe the longest pause occurs. Then, counterattack the last tribe that attacked. They will be weakened, while you should still have a full tribe. Do as much damage as possible, but retreat before the next wave of attacks starts.
It takes a while and is really quite boring, but that’s the tribal stage for you.
