Overview
When i launched this game for the first time i had to deal with many problems. After half hour i finally managed to make the game playable and found good mod. If you wish to save yourself some time or you are PC virgin, then check this guide. Also there is a bit of information about the game.С игрой у некоторых пользователей возникало множество проблем. Данное руководство решит эти проблемы. Так же добавил немного информации об игре.
Introduction / Вступление
Guide was written “on the go” because the game is now on sale and i wanted to provide users with fast combined solution for most annoying and major game problems this game has. There may be grammatical errors and few others. I will update the guide later.
Руководство создавалось на скорую руку. Причина – игра в продаже со скидой на момент создания руководства и у неё есть множество серьёзных и неприятных проблем. Целью было предоставить пользователям сборник решений проблем как модно скорее. В связи с этим в руководство далеко от идеального. Так же я понятия не имею как выглядит Русская версия игры. Слова могут отличаться от того что я указал здесь.

This game has always-online requirement. Also your data is stored on game servers. If you have unstable internet, then i suggest you to skip this game.

Controller doesn’t work / Пульт не работает

This game supports only official Xbox One controller and few wheels. You can use Third-party Xbox One controller if you will follow steps below. For other controllers there is no guarantees. You may try tools additional tools which can make your PC think that you are using official Xbox One controller. I don’t think that X360 emulators will work, since as mentioned above this game supports only Xbox One controllers.
Solution 1 (Can be bugged. Twitching when driving, fast menu scrolling and more)
1. Enter Steam Big Picture mode – Controller settings – Disable controllers (uncheck them).
2. Right click on game icon in your Steam library – Properties – Controllers – Disable Steam input.
Solution 2 (Using it now)
Unbind all keyboard and wheel buttons.
1. Enter “Controls” menu, select Keyboard and press “Customize“.
2. Choose any one button on your keyboard to use it for all actions. Do the same with Wheel (you may need to use controller button to make it work).
3. Leave the game find the find this file Documents folder – Need for Speed – settings – Open “PROFILEOPTIONS_profile” with any text editor and find all lines with “Type 3“. Delete them all and save the file.
4. Launch the game and select gamepad in controls menu. Press “Customize” and then press “Reset” button.
Now your controller should work with correct button prompts.

Игра поддерживает только официальный пульт от Xbox One и несколько рулей. Данное решение поможет пользователям владеющим пультом Xbox One произведённым третьими лицами. Остальным (PS4, X360 и т.п.) возжно стоит попробовать сторонние программы, способные эмульировать пульт Xbox One (не 360).
У меня Стим на Английском и поэтому за точность перевода разделов я не отвечаю.
Решение 1 (Могут быть баги вроде тряски при езде и быстрой прокрутки в меню)
1. Войдите в режим Big Picture – Настройки пультов – Отключите все пульты (снимите галочки).
2. Правой кнопкой мыши нажмите на игру в библиотеке Стим – Выберите пункт с настройками (в Англ. – Properties) – Выберите раздел с пультами – Отключите Steam input (должно быть три варианта. По умолчанию, включить и отключить).
Решение 2 (Пользуюсь сам)
1. Войдите в меню “Управление” , выберите Клавиатура и нажмите “Изменить” (в Анлг. Customize).
2. Выберите однулюбую кнопку на вашей клавиатуре и используйте её для всех действий. Сделайте тоже самое с Рулём (Возможно кнпока на клавиатуре не сработает и нужно буть использовать кнопку пульта).
3. Выйдите из игры и найдите следующий файл Документы – Need for Speed – settings – Откройте “PROFILEOPTIONS_profile” любым текстовым редактором и найдите строки со словом “Type 3”. Удалите их все и сохраните файл.
4. Запустите игру и выберите Пульт в разделе Управление. Нажмите “Изменить” а затем кнопку с функцией “Сбросить”.
Теперь всё должно работать.
Very low volume / Ни фига не слышно

1. In game Audio tab select “Stereo Mixdown“, before or after next step.
2. Find your Documents folder – Need for Speed – settings – Open file called “PROFILEOPTIONS_profile” with any text editor.
3. Find these lines and change “1” to higher number:
GstAudio.MusicVolume 1.000000
GstAudio.SoundEffectVolume 1.000000
GstAudio.SpeechVolume 1.000000
I recommend numbers below for now. It should look like this:
GstAudio.MusicVolume 7.500000
GstAudio.SoundEffectVolume 1.700000
GstAudio.SpeechVolume 4.000000
Close and save the file.

Mods / Моды
English
I recommend “Unite” mod. There are few files and you can choose what to install. Mod disables startup intro, improves car handling, disables film grain, crash camera, few other effects and more. I highly recommended to use it on “clean” new game.
Also racing line color + shape mod.
Load order is important since some mods change same thing.

Советую мод “Unite“. Он отключает камеру аварий, заменяет некоторые звуки машин, отключает такие эффекты как зернистость и ещё много чего меняет. Можете выбрать какие функции установить. Советую начать чистую новую игру.
Так же советую замену цвета и формы стрелок.
Порядок загрузки важен т.к. некоторые моды заменяют одни и те же параметры.

Settings – Game settings – Play alone.
Internet connection still required. Playing alone is recommended if you are using mods or you want to avoid players with bad internet connection.

Интернет всё равно требуется. Одиночный режим желателен при использовании модов или если не хотите играть с игроками у которых не самое лучший интернет.
Tips / Советы
English
1. Have more than one car in your garage and tune them for different roles. Ex: Drift car, Grip (race) car. It can be day and night difference.
2. To collect “Donut” you need “RWD” car. Hold “Accelerate” button and move to the left. Your car will drive in circles and you will complete this activity. Tune it correctly, if necessary.
3. Tires are very important. With some you will slide a bit, with other type it will feel like you are using a boat. Combine correct tire with driving style carefully.

1. Держите больше одной машины в вашем гараже и сделайте им тюнинг для разных ролей. Т.е. одна для Дрифта, другая для гонок. Разница как день и ночь.
2. Чтобы собрать “Пончик/Donut“, нужно выбрать машину заднеприводную машину. Держите кнопку “Газ/Разгон” и двигайтесь влево. Ваша машина будеть ездить по кругу и вы выполните задание. При необходимости тюнингуйте машину.
3. Правильный выбор шин очень важен. С одним типом вы будете скользить на поворотах, с другим вы будете плавать как на лодке. Комбинируйте шины со стилем вождения (тюнинг) осторожно.
Unite mod
1. Nostalgia music pack poorly optimized. Many songs are too quiet. Some are fine.
2. Camera mod has no description and i haven’t noticed difference in game.
3. Cop nerf submod is very useful. Cops can be very annoying in some hard difficulty level challenges. I highly recommend this one.

2. Мод на камеру не имеет описания и я не заметил ощутимой разницы в игре.
3. Советую использовать мод Cop nerf. Менты будут меньше действовать вам на нервы.
