This guide will show you where the savegame is located and how you can start a new game.

The game itself has no option to restart a new game after you have started a game. Some achievements of the game need certain conditions to be fulfilled like ‘no skipping of dialogues’ or ‘no skipping of cut scenes’. Therefore I’m writing this guide that you don’t need to play through the entire game before you can begin a new game, because you unintended skipped or missed something.
Remember to turn off the Steam Cloud sync in the Steam Options of the game (Right click properties).
The personal folder of the game is created here:
(Windows Vista/7/8)
C:Users{Name}AppDataRoamingFinewayStudiosFrankenstein
(Windows XP)
C:Documents and Settings{Name}Application DataFinewayStudiosFrankenstein
Replace {Name} with the username you are operating on your os.
In this folder you have the file ‘save.bin‘, deleting this file will reset your current profile you have and the savegame too.
If you can’t find the folder ‘AppData’ then type in your browser/address bar: %appdata%
After this progress the game will act as you have newly installed it and will ask you to enter your profile name.
