Overview
I created this guide mostly for my self, and tought that it might help others aswell.
1: Property Information – Know when to Invest!
Below you will find all cost and some important information of all bases in Stormwork.
Temperate Islands Bases
These are all the bases that are located on their own seperate island in the temperate biome.
Cost: 10.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Small Boat Dock
Features:
- 1 Bed
- 1 Functional Wardrobe
- 1 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 16.407 Liters
- 1 Toggleable Spotlight Tower
- 1 Climbable Radio Tower (Lookout Tower)
- Large empty space can be used to easily land helicopters.
Cost to worth rating: 5/5
The only island with a functional wardrobe, and is one of the best investment ingame.
This is the standard base to start on when you play career mode.
Cost: 10.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Small Aircraft Hangar
Features:
- 1 Bed
- 1 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 9.552 Liters
- 1 ATC Tower (Lookout Tower)
- 1 Helicopter Landing Pad
- 6 Helicopter Parking Spaces
- 1 Boat Ramp
Cost to worth rating: 5/5
The ATc Tower is located on a hill with a somewhat obstructed but great view, Vehicles are spawned on the helicopter pad so you don’t have to pilot it out of the hangar. With abit of skill you can even launch boats with the boat ramp. One of the best investment you can make.
Cost: 15.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Boat Dock
Features:
- 1 Bed
- 1 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 26.094 Liters
- Medium empty space can be used to land helicopters.
Cost to worth rating: 5/5
The house you get is pretty large with a attached garage, why you would need a garage for such a small island is anyones guess. The price you pay for a large boat dock is well worth it, and as such is one of the best investment you can make.
Cost: 30.000
Workbenches:
- ยด1 Small Aircraft Hangar
Features:
- 1 Bed
- 1 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 9.552 Liters
- 1 Toggleable Spotlight Tower
- 1 ATC Tower (Lookout Tower)
- 1 Asphalted Runway with runway lights
Cost to worth rating: 2/5
It’s one of the cheaper Airfields in the game, with a runway goinig south to north. All aircraft are spawned in the hangar, and the hangar doors are abit to tight to easily exit with small helicopters, as such alot of rotor damage is expected, but a great choice if you want to try to build a small fixed wing aircraft. It dose’nt have easy boat access, so the island is abit limited. As such is not that great of an investment.
Cost: 90.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Aircraft Hangar
Features:
- 6 Barracks Buildings
- 16 Beds per Barracks
- 1 Working Hospital
- 1 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 9.552 Liters
- 1 Fuel Tank (Jet-A1) 9.552 Liters
- 1 Large Hangar with entrance for vehicles on both sides.
- 1 ATC Tower (Lookout Tower)
- 2 Asphalted Runway with runway lights
- 4 Parking Ramps for Aircraft
Cost to worth rating: 5/5
This is one of the best island ingame. It has two runways that cross eachother so you can launch your aircraft in any direction. Easy to land helicopters and store additional vehicles on one of the four aircraft ramps. It has lots of bed, Easy dock access but no dock workbench. Best of all is the hospital on the island, this way you can save your survivor and end your mission on the same space. Great late game investment!
Cost: 150.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Boat Dock
- 1 Large Aircraft Hangar
Features:
- 2 Beds located in ATC Tower
- 1 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 9.552 Liters located in hangar building
- 1 Fuel Tank (Jet A1) 9.552 Liters located in hangar building
- 1 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 16.407 Liters located at docks
- 2 Toggleable Spotlight Tower
- 1 ATC Tower (Lookout Tower)
- 1 Asphalted Runway with runway lights
- Large empty space can be used to easily land helicopters.
Cost to worth rating: 4/5
It’s a bit pricey. But one of the better bases in the game. It’s worth the Investment late game!
This is the standard base to start on when you play creative mode.
Cost: 220.000
Workbenches:
- 2 Large Boat Dock
- 2 Large Aircraft Hangar
Features:
- 2 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 9.552 Liters located in hangar building
- 2 Fuel Tank (Jet A1) 9.552 Liters located in hangar building
- 2 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 26.094 Liters located at boat dock
- 1 Asphalted Runway without runway lights
Cost to worth rating: 1/5
Being the most expensive island ingae, this island is just way to expensive to be worth it, it has 2 of each workbenches and that’s just about the only advantage it has. If you play a session of multiplayer career mode it will take ages until you can afford this airfield, and you are are often better off owning more bases then to invest it all on this base.
Custom Islands Bases
These islands are often just as good as you make em. Consider adding a small building with spare equipment, a bed, and maybe a Helicopter Pad for ease of access!
Cost: 100.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Boat Dock
Features:
- 1 Custom build location
- Entrance build location
Cost to worth rating: 3/5
This custom Island is somewhat worth it, you get a large Boat dock and one custom building location, depending on the location of the island in your game it might be a better investment.
Cost: 100.000
Workbenches:
- 2 Small Boat Dock
Features:
- 1 Custom build location
- Entrance build location
Cost to worth rating: 4/5
This custom island is a good one, you get a small dock that is shielded under a cave, perfect for your top secret creations and projects! You also get another small boat dock just by the entrance of the mountain. It has two custom building workbenches. However one thing to note is that it is priced at the exact same price as the bigger, much better Large Subarine base Island. Still worth the investent!
Cost: 100.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Boat Dock
Features:
- 3 Custom build location
- Entrance build location
- Cave build location
- Mountain build location
Cost to worth rating: 5/5
This custom island is one of the better ones, you get a large boat dock inside a cave, which is great for all your top secret projects. And three diffrent custom base building locations. In my oppinion this is the best custom island your money can buy. A well worth the investment late game!
Cost: 100.000
Workbenches:
- None
Features:
- 1 Custom build location
Cost to worth rating: 2/5
For the cost of this “base” you get the chance to build your own oil rig. It’s a cool opportunity but in the end the base is lacklusting compared to other custom islands. It has no workbenches at all, a smart stormworker might add a helicopter pad and a building with a bed in it and use this base as a rest stop. Not really worth the investment.
Cost: 100.000
Workbenches:
- None
Features:
- 1 Custom build location
Cost to worth rating: 1/5
Lets get it out of the way, this island is not worth the investment, it is located on a hill and it’s kinda hard to climb it from sea level, no boat dock makes it hard to access. At best it can be used as a lookout post, with a helipad and a building with a bed in it, and you can use it as a rest stop. As said, not really worth the investment.
Island of Donkk Bases
These are all the bases that are located on the Island of Donkk and nearby Islands.
Cost: 40.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Boat Dock
- 1 Train Depot
Features:
- Freight Terminal – This base spawn logistic containers that can be transported for money.
- 1 Small 2 floor building
- 4 Beds
- 1 Fuel tank (Diesel) 26.904 Liters located at docks
- 1 Fuel tank (Diesel) 26.904 Liters located in train depot
Cost to worth rating: 5/5
This should be your first choice of investment when it comes to the Island of Donkk. It’s cheaper then Comodo Freight Terminal, is closeby to another base (Airfield) and considering everything you get for the low low price of 40.000 it’s well worth the investment.
Cost: 20.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Aircraft Hangar
Features:
- 1 Large rusty Hangar buidling
- 1 Bed located in hangar
- 1 Fuel tank (Diesel) 9.552 Liters located in hangar
- 1 Asphalted runway with runway lights
Cost to worth rating: 5/5
Located very close to Terminal Spycakes base, this airfield is a pretty good investment. One thing to note is that it lacks Jet A1 Fuel, but it makes up for it for being located at a great location. Together with Terminal Spycakes you have two bases that can launch any sized aircraft, boat and a train depot to freight any cargo anywhere in Stormworks! A worthy investment indeed.
Cost: 80.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Boat Dock
- 1 Train Depot
Features:
- Freight Terminal – This base spawn logistic containers that can be transported for money.
- 1 Small 2 floor building
- 2 Beds
- 1 Fuel tank (Diesel) 26.904 Liters located at docks
- 1 Fuel tank (Diesel) 26.904 Liters located in train depot
Cost to worth rating: 3/5
Terminal Comodo is very similar to Terminal Spycakes in terms of size and functionality, and yet it’s twice as expensive as Terminal Spyckaes. The only advantage Terminal Comodo has is that it is somewhat closer to Lighthouse OB Hospital. It shoud not be your first choice of investment, it’s not the worst base in Stormworks. A Somewhat okay investment.
Sawyer Island Bases
Sawyer Island is the biggest island in Stormworks as of now.
Cost: 50.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Boat Dock
Features:
- Freight Terminal – This base spawn logistic containers that can be transported for money.
- 3 Small buildings
- 5 Beds
- 1 Fuel tank (Diesel) 26.904 Liters located at docks
Cost to worth rating: 3/5
This should be considered as your second option when buying your first base at Sawyer Island, as it has some problems. The first is the sign to buy the base, it’s marked at the fishing village with three buildings, where you normally sleep. However the real location is down by the docks. It’s a kinda large distance from the docks to these houses. One great advantage is the nearby hospital. However you get more buck for your money if you invest in the North Harbour Terminal. Still a somewhat ok investment.
Cost: 60.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Boat Dock
- 1 Train Depot
Features:
- Freight Terminal – This base spawn logistic containers that can be transported for money.
- 1 Small 2 floor building
- 2 Beds
- 1 Fuel tank (Diesel) 26.904 Liters located at docks
- 1 Fuel tank (Diesel) 26.904 Liters located in train depot
Cost to worth rating: 5/5
This should be your first choice of investment when it comes to the Sawyer Island. It’s the second cheapest base and is almost exacly the same as Terminal Spycakes at Island of Donkk. This base is almost always better located compared to Sawyer South Teerminal. It’s also located somewhat close to the central hospital, one could run the distance, but it’s easiest to reach it with a small vehicle. A Great investment in short.
Cost: 80.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Aircraft Hangar
Features:
- 1 Bed in hangar (Sofa)
- 1 Fuel tank (Diesel) 9.552 Liters located in hangar
- 1 Fuel tank (Jet A1) 9.552 Liters located in hangar
- 1 Asphalted runway with runway lights
Cost to worth rating: 3/5
Harrsion Airbase is one of two Airfields on Sawyer Island, This airfield is abit more remote located compared to O’Neill Airbase, hench the lower price. A good Airfield none the less. It’s an okay investment.
Cost: 120.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Aircraft Hangar
Features:
- 1 Bed in hangar (Sofa)
- 1 Fuel tank (Diesel) 9.552 Liters located in hangar
- 1 Fuel tank (Jet A1) 9.552 Liters located in hangar
- 1 Asphalted runway with runway lights
- 1 Small 2 floor building located near train building
- 2 Beds in said building
Cost to worth rating: 3/5
With a better location then Harrison Airbase, and with the added advantage of having a train line connected nearby, this airbase is the better choice between the two airfields, at a somewhat more expensive pricetag. Do note that the train building does’nt have any workbench in it, and that’s why this is still just an okay Investment.
Arctic Area Bases
These are all the bases in the Arctic biome region. The hardest region in the game, and should only be travelled to late game.
Cost: 100.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Train Depot
Features:
- 1 Small 2 floor Building
- 2 Bed
- 1 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 26.094 Liters located in Train Depot
Cost to worth rating: 4/5
Your first option and it should also be your first choice when it comes to your first base in the Arctic region. No diffrent then Terminal Trinite in form or function, this location is alot closer to this area Hospital and thats the only reason it gets a slight advantage. As with all Arctic bases you don’t get that much value for your money, but it’s still one of the better investment.
Cost: 100.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Train Depot
Features:
- 1 Small 2 floor Building
- 2 Bed
- 1 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 26.094 Liters located in Train Depot
Cost to worth rating: 3/5
Your second option when it comes to your first base in the Arctic region. Subpar compared to Terminal Endo. It’s an ok Investment.
Cost: 200.000
Workbenches:
- 1 Large Aircraft Hangar
- 1 Large Boat Dock
Features:
- 1 Medium sized Building
- 2 Bed
- 1 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 26.094 Liters located at Boat dock
- Large open area located near docks, easy to land helicopters.
- 1 Fuel Tank (Diesel) 9.552 Liters located in Hangar
- 1 Fuel Tank (Jet A1) 9.552 Liters located in Hangar
- 1 Asphalted runway with runway lights.
Cost to worth rating: 5/5
This should be your second investment if your not playing a heavy aircraft focused game. It’s one of the most expensive property to buy ingame, and the only base with both an airfield and a both dock in the Arctic region, as such it’s a vital location if you want to operate with aircraft and boats in the Arctic. Considering the Location and function of this base it is a very good investment, even if it’s expensive.

3: Equipment and you – How to survive in Stormworks.
Below are some good tips and information about all equipment at your disposal in Stormworks.
Handheld Equipment
Importance: Medium
Can be stored on belt
The Binoculars is a useful tool to see things that are far away. You spawn with these on you. They are most effective durning daytime. Durning nighttime you are better of with NVG Binoculars. It’s a very common item to use.
Importance: Very Low
Large Equipment
The Cable is mostly used in creations. And can be used to connect two diffrent creations together to transfer energy, or to research a creation with another creation. It’s not a very common item to use.
Importance: Low
Can be stored on belt
The handheld compass has it uses if you have nothing else around, as it will help you navigate the lands and sea of stormwroks. However it’s very common for creations to have onboard compasses or even digital map screens, so the use of handheld compasses are not very common.
Importance: High
Large Equipment
The Defibrillator (Defib) is an item used to resurrect incapacitated survivors. It has 4 shots and can not be recharged. After use a survivor will have minimal health and need medical attention with a medkit. Atleast one should be added to each creation that is meant to be sent out on duty. No more then 3 should be needed at any given time if you do not plan to reuse the same creation for a long duration of time.
Importance: High
Large Equipment
The Fire Extinguisher is an item that is used to extinguish fire. It’s a vital tool in your arsenal to save people. Each creation should have atleast one onboard, if not for when disaster hits, you never know if you need one yourself, in case of a engine fire perhaps?
Importance: High
Can be stored on belt
First Aid Kit (Medkits) is a vital tool for you. Each Medkit has 4 shots, and it takes 1 to 3 shots to fully heal a hurt survivor. Survivors that hare hurt continue to lose their life until they get incapacited and instead need a defib. Atleast 3 should be added to each creation, but it’s never a dumb idea to add more.
Importance: Low
Can be stored on belt
All Stormworkers should be equiped with a flashlight that is far superior than flares. Flares do have their uses, you throw them to light up an area, you can pick them up again if needed. They can be used to signal another player in multiplayer, so it has it’s uses, it’s not a vital tool to have with you.
Importance: Low
Can be stored on belt
Same as the Flare, only much more fun to use. Singel shot use. Easier to signal other players when you can launch a flare straight up in the sky. If your creation does’nt have a dedicated flare launcher you should have one onboard, might aswell have one onboard in backup. It’s not a vital tool to have with you.
Importance: Very Low
Can be stored on belt
If you want to reload your signal shot flare gun you’re gonna need these. Not a vital tool to have with you.
Importance: High
Can be stored on belt
You spawn with this on you. You should always have a flashlight on you, when night comes your surrounding can become real dark real quick. Goes on power and can be recharged.
Importance: Low
Large Equipment
Like Cables but instead of transfering energy it’s used to transfer fluids. Can be used as a handheld hose if connected to a watertank and a pump, which makes it more effective than a fire extinguisher. Not very common to use if your creation dose’nt have said watertank and pump. Still somewhat more useful then cables.
Importance: Medium
Can be stored on belt
Same as the ordinary Binoculars only that these go on power and can be recharged. These are more useful durning nighttime.
Importance: Very Low
Can be stored on belt
The Oxygen Mask helps you breath underwater but should only be used as a last resort. It’s far better to use the Scuba or Diving Outfit to breath under water.
Importance: Low
Large Equipment
Can be used to detect Emergency Beacons. Most creation do have beacon locators onboard, and if so then you hardly need this. The only reason you would need this is if you need to go from your boat to land and search for survivors. It has it uses.
Importance: Medium
Can be stored on belt
Only useful in multiplayer. Let you talk to other player on 8 diffrent channels. It also gives of a cute beep after you release the speak trigger.
Importance: Low
Can be stored on belt
Depending on how you play the game this might be a useful item. It can be used to remote control just about anything. Fuel boms, Boats, Helicopters, Mini Submarines. UAV’s. Water Cannon’s. You get the point!
Importance: Medium
Large Equipment
All boats should atleast have some rope onboard, they are useful when you have to tow another boat, or just connect one creation with another.
Importance: Low
Can be stored on belt
A light that strobes, not very useful. You can activate MOB-mode (Man overboard) which will activate the device when it comes in contact with water, which is useful durning nighttime, sadly NPC dose’nt use these.
Importance: Very Low
Can be stored on belt
Same as above but with infra red light instead, maybe you want to be seen in a stealthy way?
Importance: Low
Can be stored on belt
Works somewhat like the strobe light but with sound instead. Activate the MOB-mode and if someone uses a beacon finder or radio signal locator and they will be able to find you!
Importance: Low
Large Equipment
A Welding torch that can repair your creation under water, has slightly less fuel than a ordinary welding torch! If you have a boat or a submarine you should consider having one onboard.
Importance: Low
Large Equipment
A Welding torch that can repair your creation, uses fuel and cannot be recharged.
Outfits
Importance: Low
Helps you not freeze to death in the Arctic biome.
Importance: Low
A upgraded version of diving equipment compared to the scuba equipment. Let you dive down to depths of 250 meters for 10 minutes. Can be recharged.
Importance: Medium
Drastically decrease damage taking by fire. Highly recommend you take one with you durning any fire related accidents!
Importance: Only on Aircraft
Gravity kills! Don’t forget to pack a parachute if you plan to go up in the skies!
Importance: Low
The subpar version compared to diving outfit. Let you dive down to depths of 50 meters for 2 minutes. Can be recharged.
Boat Equipment
This will give you tips and tricks for you equipment to add onto your boat. The list goes from most important to least important.
All boats should atleast have basic navigational lights. A Red light on the left side, and a green one on the right. This will help you learn how to see which direction a boat is going in the distances.
A larger space or seating area for survivors. A larger empty space can be used as a makeshift cargo space. Railings should be used so survivors or cargo doesn’t get thrown overboard.
All boats should have atleast 2 rope anchors, one on the front and one on the rear (for towing) but can also use a couple on the side to connect your boat with another, don’t forget to add ropes, about 2 is enough.
It’s highly recommended that you connect pumps with a fluid meter in your enclosed spaces, if you ever crash you boat it will help you stay afloat and hopefully you can return to your workbench to reclaim your creation.
Basic boats should have a onboard compass, it can be hard to navigate the seas but atleast with a compass and your map you could use landmarks to navigate the waters.
Boats should always have a beacon detector onboard connected to a buzzer. This is the easiest way to find survivors with activated beacons.
Advanced Stormworkers tend to use a digital Map Screen with GPS to navigate the sea.
You should add atleast 3 First aid kits, and 1 Defib to take care of survivors. Most rescue missions have about 4 survivors so that should be enough, add more if your budget allows it.
As said above, seating is a good idea so you know where your survivors are on your boat. You could also use beds (recommended over medical beds) for realism.
Medical Bed’s cant be used to rest on, but will heal you faster.
If you plan to use your boat durning nighttime it’s a good idea to use some spotlights. Either use a fixed spotlight and face them to the front, side and back of your boat. or use a pviot orientated spotlight that you can control. It’s hard to see after dark.
Another great alternative is to have as few focused lights as possible and instead use Night Vision Binoculars to look outside your boat.
In a pinch you can have some flare launchers with bright parachuted flares loaded in them to illuminate your surroundings.
For advanced stormworkers you might want to use a Pivoted FLIR Camera with zoom function to see in the dark.
Basic Fire fighting gear is a most to fight fire. A Fire extinguisher and some firefighting gear goes a long way to fight firers.
The next upgrade would be to use a water pump and a hose, taking water directly from the sea to fight fires!
Advanced Stormworkers tend to have a remote controlled watercannon onboard their boats so they can fight fires from the comfort of their own cabin.
If needed and if you are playing with others it might be a good idea to mount a radio on your vehicle, so you can speak with your fellow players.
Most boat accidents either happens when you crash with a object or landmass, and rarely due to engine overheat. In any case you should have a fire extinguisher onboard at all times. You should also have a underwater welding torch atleast. And if possible even a ordinary welding torch. But if you have to choose always go for the underwater one. Use the underwater one to fix damages in flooded compartments, and use the ordinary one when you need to fix anything above sealevel.
Vehicle Equipment
Most Vehicles should have front and rear lights. Front facing spotlights are a great idea for night driving.
Land vehicles are often more focused towards a specific task. Is your vehicle built to transport people? Cargo? Fire fighting? Or maybe it’s built to handle everything.
As with boats, you should have atleast 3 medkits and a defib just to be sure.
Space for people to sit or lay down in your vehicle is recommended.
As with boats, should atleast have a fire extinguisher and some firefighting outfit onboard.
For more advanced fire fighting your vehicle will need a stand alone water tank, it might be a good idea to make it refillable. Either have it connected to a hoses or a remote water cannon.
It’s never a dumb idea to add a compass to your vehicle, as it’s the most bare boned way to navigate the lands.
Using a GPS display is a good idea.
Having a beacon finder is also a good idea as some missions might need it.
If needed and if you are playing with others it might be a good idea to mount a radio on your vehicle, so you can speak with your fellow players.
Most vehicles break down when either their engine overheat (fire) or your driving get to reckless and you jump a bit to far, which tends to end up in fire also. Make sure you have a fire extinguisher and a welding torch on your vehicle.
Train Equipment
The most important part of trains is that they need to be able to go in reverse.
They should have alot of torgue as they tend to be used to haul alot of cargo.
Trains are one of the most fuel efficent vehicles you can build.
Compared to other vehicles, a radio is highly recommended on trains. With it you can remotely change the track on the train line (This function seem to be bugged, as all radio signals do nothing)
If needed and if you are playing with others it might be a good idea to mount a radio on your vehicle, so you can speak with your fellow players.

Helicopter Equipment
Always bring a parachute if you play with perma-death on.
Helicopters like boats should use basic navigational lights. Red on left, Green on right.
Again, A compass is always a great choice for a simple helicopter.
Some sort of height sensor connected to a dial so you can see how far above ground you are is a good idea.
More advanced helicopter tend to have GPS Map screen to map destinations.
Advanced stormworkers tend to fit their helicopters with autopilots and auto-hover systems.
Should atleast have 3 First aid kits, and a defib.
Should have seating for Survivors.
If playing with two players, a winch system is a great idea. Singleplayer winch system also exists.
The most basic version of firefightning would be to have a nozzel on a winch that you can lower down to sea level and then use a pump to shoot a stream of water on the fire.
More advanced versions should have a standalone water tank so that they can fight inland without the need to suck water from the ocean. From there they could either use a water cannon or just water bomb the fire.
Should have a remote control spotlight and a remote controlled FLIR Camera with Zoom function.
Should just focus on having a large hold area for cargo crates. Or use a skylift system to freight large containers.
If needed and if you are playing with others it might be a good idea to mount a radio on your vehicle, so you can speak with your fellow players.
Most helicopter accident either happens because you hit a tree or the ground with your rotors, or due to overheating engines. Sometimes you can lose control durning heavy storms.
If you get into an accident it’s not really much you can do other then to stay calm. Can you still control your aircraft? If you can try to take it back to the hangar or land it nearby.
When everything else fails, just abandon your aircraft and don’t forget a parachute.
Aircraft Equipment
Aircraft tend to be late game vehicles. They come in both small and big sizes. You can use them for recon or transport massive amount of stuff.
Larger plane that tends to have a stand alone water tank, used to water bomb areas. Most aircrafts of this type tend to be waterlanding aircrafts.
Built to store and transport cargo. Can easily be made to transport people.
If needed and if you are playing with others it might be a good idea to mount a radio on your vehicle, so you can speak with your fellow players.

4: Missions – How to grow a successful business
Missions is your main source of income, they tend to spawn nearby to where you are or where you rest, for example if you sleep on Sawyer Island, it tends to give you missions that are located on or nearby Sawyer Island. Below is a list of all missions ingame (Work in progress)
Special Mission
If your new to the game this is most likely your first mission, if your not new it might be worth to play the tutorial again to get a good starter boat. Follow the on screen directions and get in the boat, the Key switch is below the throttle lever. Take the boat to the hospital island. Use the fire extinguisher and mind your distance from the open flame, extinguish the fire. Return the extinguisher and heal one survior with a medkit. Take both survivors to the hospital and return to boat.
This is a great time to check your inventroy. Return the medkit onto the boat so you dont clutter your inventory space (you can store 4 equipment, use 1 large equipment and have 1 outfit on you). Return the boat to the starter island and return your boat to the workbench, respawn the boat to complete the mission.
Mission Requirements: None, Starter boat is provided for player with all needed quipmenet.
Mission Reward: None
Mission Priority: Mandatory if selected on world creation.
Mission Difficulty: Very Easy.
Ocean Based Missions
You are tasked to tow a boat that has broken down on open sea. The boat is always empty and can wary in sice. Most boats are smallish, but if it says anything about a Green tug boat then you should be adviced that you need a powerful boat to tow that boat, you see the Green tug boat is one of the bigger ones that you can get tasked to tow.
Mission Requirements: A powerful boat with a rope anchor or winch, and some rope.
Mission Reward: 1.000 – 3.000 Credits
Mission Priority: Low, as the reward is almost never worth the effort.
Mission Difficulty: Depends on size of boat to tow, and local weather. It’s recommended to do these mission in calm weather, the shorter the distance from boat to target the better.
You are tasked to a random location on ocean to save some people onboard a boat. Boat can vary in size from very small to large. Amount of casulties varies from 1 to 8+, but tend to be around 4 people in need of help.
The boat can either be:
Visible from the map from the start. This tends to happen early game and is the easiest version. Just take your vehicle to the target location and save the survivors.
Transponder signal active. You either have to look around or use a beacon detector to find the survivors. This is abit harder, and sometimes the search area to look in can be huge.
Sighted in the area. Same as above expcet this time they did not activate or don’t have any rescue beacon onboard. You will have to look around for the survivors, the search area tends to be smaller than above.
Unconcious survivor need to be defibed. It takes one charge and you get four with each defib.
Survivors that har hurt needs 1-3 shots with a medkit depending on how sever they are hurt, you get 4 shots from each medkit.
Mission Requirements: Lighting if nighttime, Seating for survivors make it easier. Atleast 2 Medkits are must. Atleast 1 Defibilator is must.
Mission Reward: 2.000 Credits per saved survivor.
Mission Priority: Medium, rises if there are more casulties.
Mission Difficulty: Depends on local weather. It’s recommended to do these mission in calm weather, the more survivors the better.
You are tasked to save survivors and tend to a fire. The mission is very similar to above with just added fire. The fire can very in size.
Mission Requirements: As above. A Fire Extinguisher is a must. A Fire Fighting Outfit is recommended.
Mission Reward: 3.000 Credits for Extinguished Fire. 2.000 Credits per saved survivor.
Mission Priority: Medium, rises if there are more casulties.
Mission Difficulty: Depends on local weather and size of fire. It’s recommended to do these mission in calm weather, the more survivors the better.
