Welcome
This is a guide for Doraemon: Story of Seasons, which is essentially a farming simulator with a touch of the beloved cartoon. The game is similar to other Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons games, and includes many familiar aspects of those games, with one big difference. The main characters are from the Doraemon cartoon, and the story follows their misadventures to a different world where they end up running a farm. As such, there is no romancing/marriage aspect to the game, since the main characters are little kids.
But there is plenty of other things to do, and in this guide we have tried to collect as much useful information and tips as we could while playing the game ourselves.

Crops
Farming is a big part of the game, and taking care of a big field of crops can feel overwhelming at first. On your farm you can grow different kinds of plants which vary depending on the time of the year, and which each open up different possibilities for culinary dishes. You can upgrade your tools or gain more maximum stamina to make it easier to take care of it all.
Fertilizer and Gro-Quik
Fertilizer can be obtained from the general store. When you apply it, you will see it on the crop. There is no indication to how much the quality is raised per use. You can’t raise a crop’s quality to full stars with fertilizer alone, and to perfect your crop you will need the Seed Maker from the blacksmith.
Initially obtained from Doraemon, this can be used on a crop to speed up the growth rate. You can use more than one in a row, which will move the crop through all of the stages.
Note: there is a brief animation each time you use it on a crop.
Cooking
Cooking happens in your kitchen which you can furnish after purchasing your first house expansion. Your kitchen includes a fridge that you can store all your food items in and easily use ingredients from when cooking. You don’t have to take the ingredients out of the fridge to use them. To expand on your cooking possibilities you can buy new cooking ware and recipes from Cafet in the restaurant. The recipes Cafet sells change with seasons.
Stew set 9800g
Whisk 2450g
Oven 3850g
Rolling Pin 2100g
Fry Pan 6300g
The list of recipes is long and incomplete, and I have collected these all from the game, steam forums and the internet so there might be mistakes.

( There is reports of the price lowering if you wait? needs confirming, but I bought my first drink for 8,000g )The maximum stamina you can have is 150!

Animal Companions
Throughout the game you will unlock different animals outside of your usual sheep and chicken, and gain the ability to build a friendship with them.
Unlocks fairly early in the game ( around 17th of spring ) when exploring Mount Whistle. You will get a cut scene with the dog, but to unlock it you need Super Gloves. The Super Gloves are among the gadgets possessed by Ryam, and to get them from him you need to grow and harvest three types of crops on your farm.
The cat is possibly unlocked by raising Doraemon’s friendship to three hearts. You will get a cutscene with Doraemon talking with the cat, and afterwards you get a mission to befriend the cat for him. The cat usually appears on your farm in the mornings, but sometimes wanders to the village.
The horse is unlocked by building the Horse Stable from the Lumberjack Shop.
The monkey is unlocked by raising your friendship with Sue to three hearts. Afterwards she will ask you to a picnic with her and you will come across some hungry monkeys in the forest.
The bear is unlocked by raising your friendship with Sneech to three hearts. You will then have to save him from a ‘bear attack’ and drive the bear away, but after the cutscene you can then find the bear from the nature around Plash River and befriend them.
The squirrel is possibly unlocked by raising your friendship with Big G to three hearts. You will unlock a cutscene in West Natura of the boys chasing the squirrel and you have a chance to save the critter from them. Afterwards you can meet the squirrel in the nature around the forest.
The rabbit you unlock by raising your friendship to three hearts with Vera. When you go visit her then at the Tree Roots you will find out that she has found a small rabbit that needs taking care of, and you can volunteer to help taking care of them as well.
Villagers
The villagers are characters that you share this new world with, and by getting to know them better and growing your relationship with them you will unlock new story and items to discover! Every villager is their own personality and have their likes and dislikes, and a job in the community.
At three hearts the villagers start occasionally asking you for favors, wanting you to bring them some item and offering items in exchange. The quests have a time line of few days and you can always check the quests from your play menu. Be careful of talking with these villagers once they have given you the quest because they will confirm every time if you still want to do the quest, and it is entirely too easy to accidentally click ‘no’.

Fixing the Lithograph
On the beach there is a cave on the left side that you can access from the beginning, but only after some playing will you trigger an event there that will lead you to discover the Lithograph. The kids will examine the cave, and come to the conclusion that there must be something behind the back wall. To access that something they need the Pass Loop, one of Doraemon’s many gadgets that for some reason has ended up with Cooper.
To get the Loop from Cooper you need to first join the kids in their playing at the secret hideout, a shack on the beach by the raft. Sandy has been telling the kids to not play on the beach due to all the noise they make, so you need to fish her a Marlin to gain her favor. Marlin can be fished from the ocean, and once you get one hand it to Cooper and you will trigger the play event.
After getting the Pass Loop, you return to the cave and go through the back wall, discovering a Mural Room with the Lithograph. But you can’t make out what it is about because it is missing pieces! The pillars in the chamber give you hints as to where to find the pieces.
Go to Big Tree Root, equip an axe and hit the big root on the lower left side of the little island.
Go to the Swoosh Falls where the big fossilized skeleton is draped on the rock walls, equip a pickaxe and hit the skeleton hand.
Go to Lake Drench where the white ruins are above the lake, equip a pickaxe and find the spot from the pillars to hit at.
Go to Rolin Forest and to the four small stone statues near the Northern entrance. Equip a brush ( purchased from the livestock shop ) and brush the second stone from the left. It can be tricky to position yourself so you’re targeting the right rock and not the whole formation.
Go to Plash River and to the arched rock formations near the lower right corner, equip a hammer and hit the left side rocks.
Go to Harappa Square, and to the small podium where the mayor usually stands during festivals. Equip a brush ( bought from the livestock shop ) and brush the plaque the mayor usually stands in front of.
Go to Zazan Beach and to the kid’s Secret Hideout, equip a hoe and dig up from inside the small shack.
Fishing
You will receive the fishing rod (Old Rod) within the first few days after a cutscene. You equip it the same as you would any other tool and cast the line near a body of water. After a period of time, a fish will swim near the bobber and pull at it. Once the bobber has gone under the water, reel it in to catch.
To use bait:
Select the bait first and use, then switch back to the fishing rod.
Fishing rod can be upgraded at blacksmith for the following material amounts:
